A superconducting coil device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: A superconducting coil device including: a bobbin having a tubular body; superconducting wires, a part of which constitutes a wound portion where the superconducting wires are wound on the bobbin; a bobbin-side guide portion holding the superconducting wires extending from the bobbin, the bobbin-side guide portion being provided to extend in a bobbin axial direction, which is an axial direction of the body of the bobbin; a first guide portion holding the superconducting wires extending from the bobbin-side guide portion, the first guide portion being arranged on an outer side of the bobbin-side guide portion in a direction intersecting the bobbin axial direction and provided to extend in the direction intersecting the bobbin axial direction; and a second guide portion capable of holding the superconducting wires extending from the first guide portion, the second guide portion being provided to extend in a direction intersecting the direction of extension of the first guide portion, in which the superconducting wires are constituted of a plurality of wires connected in series, and a connection portion between the wires is fixed to at least either one of the first guide portion and the second guide portion.

Superconducting coil device

A superconductive wire according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes a first substrate made of a conductive material, a first intermediate layer made of a conductive material and disposed on the first substrate, and a first superconductive layer made of a superconductive material and disposed on the first intermediate layer. The second member includes a second substrate made of a conductive material, a second intermediate layer made of a conductive material and disposed on the second substrate, and a second superconductive layer made of a superconductive material and disposed on the second intermediate layer. The first member and the second member are stacked along a thickness direction of the superconductive wire so that the first superconductive layer and the second superconductive layer face each other. The first superconductive layer is electrically connected to the second superconductive layer.

A persistent current switch includes a superconducting wire including a substrate and a superconducting layer disposed on the substrate, and a heater. The superconducting wire includes a surface including a first portion and a second portion that are disposed apart from each other along a longitudinal direction of the superconducting wire. The first portion and the second portion face each other. The heater is sandwiched between the first portion and the second portion.

Persistent current switch and superconducting device

A superconducting magnet according to one embodiment includes: a coil including a superconducting layer having a first portion and a second portion, and a joining portion; and a cryostat in which the coil is stored. The first portion and the second portion are located in a termination portion. The superconducting layer forms a closed loop by superconducting joining of the first portion and the second portion at the joining portion. The superconducting layer is made of a high-temperature superconductor. A current flows through the joining portion in a superconducting state when a magnetic field equal to or greater than 1.0 tesla and equal to or less than 5.0 tesla is applied to the joining portion at 77 kelvin. The cryostat is configured such that a temperature inside the cryostat is equal to or greater than 2.0 kelvin and equal to or less than 77 kelvin.

An oxide superconducting thin film material includes: a metal substrate having a surface with a biaxially oriented crystal orientation structure; an intermediate layer biaxially oriented and formed on the metal substrate; and an oxide superconducting thin film formed on the intermediate layer and composed of a RE123-based oxide superconductor represented by REBaCuO. The oxide superconducting thin film includes Br (bromine).

Oxide superconducting thin film material, oxide superconducting thin film wire, and method for manufacturing oxide superconducting thin film

In a superconducting wire, a superconducting material joining layer joins a first end portion of a first superconducting material layer of a first wire and a second end portion of a second superconducting material layer of a second wire. The first wire and the second wire are disposed such that a first end face and a second end face are positioned to face in the same direction. The first wire further includes a first conductor layer disposed on the first main surface so as to be located adjacent to the first end portion. The second wire further includes a second conductor layer disposed on the second main surface so as to be located adjacent to the second end portion. The first conductor layer and the second conductor layer are connected to each other.

Superconducting wire, superconducting coil, superconducting magnet, and superconducting device

A superconducting wire according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface; a superconducting layer having a third surface and a fourth surface; and respective coating layers. The second surface is opposite to the first surface. The fourth surface is opposite to the third surface. The superconducting layer is disposed on the substrate such that the third surface faces the second surface. The respective coating layers are disposed on the first surface and the fourth surface. Adhesion strength between the substrate and the coating layer disposed on the first surface is lower than adhesion strength between the superconducting layer and the coating layer disposed on the fourth surface.

Superconducting wire and superconducting coil

A superconducting wire includes a substrate and a superconducting material layer. The substrate includes a first main surface and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface. The superconducting material layer is disposed on the first main surface. Along at least a part of the superconducting wire in a direction in which the superconducting wire extends, the superconducting material layer is disposed to cover a side surface of the substrate in a width direction of the substrate and cover at least a part of the second main surface. A thickness of the superconducting material layer located on the first main surface varies along the width direction. A maximum thickness of the superconducting material layer located on the second main surface is smaller than a maximum thickness of the superconducting material layer located on the first main surface.

Superconducting wire

A superconducting coil according to the present disclosure includes: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface; a superconducting layer having a third surface and a fourth surface; respective stabilization layers; and respective protective layers. The second surface is opposite to the first surface. The fourth surface is opposite to the third surface. The superconducting layer is disposed on the substrate such that the third surface faces the second surface. The respective stabilization layers are disposed on the first surface and the fourth surface. The respective protective layers are disposed on the stabilization layers. Adhesion strength between each of the stabilization layers and each of the protective layers is lower than strength of the superconducting layer.

A superconducting wire includes a multilayer stack and a covering layer (stabilizing layer or protective layer). The multilayer stack includes a substrate having a main surface and a superconducting material layer formed on the main surface. The covering layer (stabilizing layer or protective layer) is disposed on at least the superconducting material layer. A front surface portion of the covering layer (stabilizing layer or protective layer) located on the superconducting material layer (front surface portion of the stabilizing layer or upper surface of the protective layer) has a concave shape.

A superconducting wire includes a stack which includes: a first substrate having a first primary surface; a second substrate disposed opposite the first substrate; and a first superconducting material layer between the first primary surface and the second substrate. A ratio w/h of a width w of the superconducting wire to a height h of the superconducting wire in a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the superconducting wire is 0.8 or greater and 10 or less. The width w is 2 mm or less.

This invention provides a substrate for a superconducting wire used for manufacturing a superconducting wire with excellent superconductivity and a method for manufacturing the same. Such substrate for a superconducting wire exhibits the crystal orientation of metals on the outermost layer, such as a c-axis orientation rate of 99% or higher, a &#x394;&#x3c9; of 6 degrees or less, and a percentage of an area in which the crystal orientation is deviated by 6 degrees or more from the (001) [100] per unit area of 6% or less.

Substrate for superconducting wire, production method therefor, and superconducting wire

There is provided a technique for producing a superconducting wire material in which the yield in a process of joining superconducting wire materials is improved over the related art. A method for producing a superconducting wire material lengthened by joining end portions of superconducting wire materials each having an oxide superconducting film, the end portions serving as joining surfaces, includes a step of disposing a micro-crystal of an oxide superconducting material on each of the joining surfaces of the oxide superconducting films, a pasting step of overlapping and pasting together the joining surfaces on which the micro-crystal is disposed, and a heat joining step of heating the overlapped joining surfaces to grow the micro-crystal, thereby forming, as a joining layer, a superconducting layer of the oxide superconducting material to join the joining surfaces to each other. A superconducting joining member for lengthening a superconducting wire material by performing heating while the superconducting joining member is pasted so as to bridge oxide superconducting thin films of two superconducting wire materials to join the two superconducting wire materials, wherein a micro-crystal of an oxide superconducting material is disposed on a joining surface.

Method for producing a superconducting wire material lengthened

An oxide superconducting wire includes an oriented metal substrate, an intermediate layer formed on the oriented metal substrate, and an oxide superconducting layer formed on the intermediate layer. The oriented metal substrate has an in-plane orientation &#x394;&#x3d5; of 7&#xb0; or less. The intermediate layer is formed of a single layer.

Oxide superconducting wire

A superconducting wire includes: a substrate having a first main surface and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface; and a superconducting material layer disposed on the first main surface of the substrate. The superconducting material layer is disposed to cover at least a part of a side surface of the substrate in a width direction of the substrate.
