A tape reel includes: a first flange; a second flange; and a reel hub. The reel hub includes a first end portion formed integrally with the first flange, a second end portion to which the second flange is bonded, and an outer peripheral surface on which a magnetic tape is wound. The outer peripheral surface of the reel hub has a first outer peripheral region and a second outer peripheral region. The first outer peripheral region expands in diameter from the first end portion toward the second end portion. The second outer peripheral region expands in diameter from the first outer peripheral region across the second end portion and forms a ridge line portion having a shape projecting radially outward of the hub portion on a boundary between the second outer peripheral region and the first outer peripheral region.

In an artificial sea-mount constructed by piling up a plurality of block bodies on the seabed to vertically mix water mass in a peripheral sea area using a tidal current, ocean current, and internal wave in that sea area, a cone array formed from three or more cones is constructed linearly on the seabed, and the vertex interval between the cones is set to 0.75 times to 2 times the bottom radius of the cone. It is possible to generate an upwelling current even in the deep sea area by inverted triangle-shaped gaps formed between the cones and the conic surfaces of the cones, and thus obtain effective upwelling flux.

A therapeutic container is provided for use in a closed therapy system. The therapeutic container is a flexible container that has suspending means, that is divided into a first compartment and a second compartment by an isolation zone, that has an outlet member provided with an openable communication passage which permits communication between the first and second compartments, and that optionally has a second openable communication passage at a location proximal to the end of the container on the side of the suspending means, whereby both the contents of the first and the second compartments can be discharged through the outlet member at a constant mixing ratio while mixing them together.

The present invention provides a stopper device comprising a stopper-support structure having a passage inside and a stopper accommodated in the-passage so as to block the passage but movably in the passage, as well as an apparatus containing the stopper device, used for mixing of two components. The stopper device can be penetrated with a connecting device with no edge and therefore generates no debris during penetration and reliably prevents leakage of container contents.

An apparatus is provided for separately storing and selectively mixing a first component, which is in a liquid form, and a second component. The apparatus is formed of a first container made of a flexible material, having a communication mouth with an isolator and adapted to store the first component therein, a supporting case connected to the communication mouth, a second container having a mouth portion held in the case and a plug fitted in the mouth portion and adapted to store the second component, and a hollow, inflexible communication device capable of penetrating through the isolator and the plug. The communication device is accommodated in the first container and is attached to the communication mouth movably therein. Disclosed herein is a filled and sealed, self-contained mixing container. The container has compartments which are isolated from each other. Plural substances which contain components susceptible to mutual reaction unless isolated from each other are contained in the respective compartments. In use, these compartments are communicated together so that the individual contents can be mixed within the container. A flow passage or passages, each of which has an isolator for the contents and is adapted to communicate the compartments with each other, and is formed by a side channel provided on an outer surface of a wall of the container. Mixing of the contents without exposure to the external atmosphere can be realized by irreversible destruction of the isolator upon use. The container is suited particularly for a closed therapy system.
