An impact tool () includes: a motor (); an impact mechanism (), which is rotatable about an output rotational axis (BX) and is driven by the motor; an anvil () having an anvil shaft () disposed forward of the impact mechanism; and at least one anvil projection () protruding radially outward from a rear-end portion of the anvil shaft and configured to be impacted by the impact mechanism in a rotational direction; a hammer case () housing the impact mechanism; a main-body housing () disposed rearward of, and fixed to, the hammer case; a grip housing () having at least a portion disposed rearward of the main-body housing, the grip housing being coupled to the main-body housing so as to be movable relative to the main-body housing; and at least one vibration-isolating member () disposed between the main-body housing and the grip housing.

Impact tool

An impact tool () includes: a motor (); an impact mechanism (), which is rotatable about an output rotational axis (BX) and is operably driven by the motor; an anvil () having an anvil shaft () disposed forward of the impact mechanism, and a radially-outward-protruding anvil projection () that is impacted in a rotational direction by the impact mechanism; a hammer case () housing the impact mechanism; an anvil bearing () held by the hammer case and surrounding the anvil shaft; a first groove () formed on an outer-circumferential surface of the anvil shaft so as to encircle the output rotational axis; a second groove () formed on an inner-circumferential surface of the anvil bearing so as to encircle the output rotational axis; and a restraining member () having a first portion () disposed in the first groove, and a second portion () disposed in the second groove.

A suspending member, such as a tether strap or the like, may by connected to improve convenience for an operator. The function of the suspending member shall be reliably performed by clearly notifying the user when the connecting part for connecting the suspending member is damaged. A ring-shaped notification member is incorporated in a connecting part for connecting the suspending member. The suspending member is inserted into both of a connecting hole in a connecting part and a notification member so as to be connected. When an end of a handle portion breaks due to long-term use, the notification member is pulled out such that the damage of the connecting part is notified.

A switch panel () having at least one manipulatable button () and at least one display part is provided downward of the handle () and is tilted such that the switch panel () is higher in the front.

Impact wrench

A spindle is radially and axially compact. An impact wrench includes a motor, a sun gear rotatable by the motor, a planetary gear meshing with the sun gear, an internal gear meshing with the planetary gear, a gear case holding the internal gear, a spindle holding the planetary gear, and a first bearing located between the gear case and the spindle, and supporting the spindle on an outer circumference and the gear case on an inner circumference.

Portable cutting device

A dust collection nozzle extends from the front of a fixing cover parallel to a base below an upper end of an electric motor. Heavy and large cutting dust can be immediately collected from an area relatively close to a cutting position of a portable cutting device cutting a workpiece immediately after dust is generated due to the cutting, which can in turn improve dust collection efficiency of a dust collection device to which the dust collection nozzle is attached.

Cutting device

A pressing member is rotatably supported by a fixing screw shaft via a ball bearing. The pressing member is made of synthetic resin and is larger in diameter compared to that of the fixing screw shaft. A connection bar is pressed by the pressing member by fastening the fixing screw shaft, and the position of the connection bar is thereby fixed. Because the pressing member has a large diameter, a dent is not generated on the connection bar. Furthermore, because the pressing member is not rotated in the fixed position, the position of the connection bar is not offset, enhancing the ability of fixing the connection bar with precise adjustment.

Machining devices

A machining device includes a rotary cutting tool, and an electric motor as a drive source for rotating the rotary cutting tool. A motor housing of the electric motor is connected to a stationary cover covering the rotary cutting tool. The electric motor is an outer rotor type electric motor includes a stator situated inside of a rotor. A rotor is supported by a motor shaft at a position of output side in the motor axis direction with respect to the stator. The rotor is mounted to the rotor base and is rotatably supported on the stationary cover. The stator is fixed to the motor housing so as to be immovable in the motor axis direction, and is arranged inside of the rotor.

Machining device and electric motor for the same

In a dust collection device that collects dust particles that an impact tool generates, disclosed is a feature that can accommodate the lengths of tool bits that are mounted to the impact tool when a machining operation is executed by exchanging tool bits of different lengths. The dust collection device collects dust that the impact tool generates and is attached to said impact tool that, in the lengthwise direction, linearly operates the tool bit mounted to the end region of a tool body. The dust collection device has a dust intake port that sucks dust, and said dust intake port can be repositioned in the lengthwise direction of the tool bit in accordance with the length in the lengthwise direction of said tool bit.
