A shielded flat cable includes a first differential signal line pair including mutually parallel first and second signal lines, first and second ground lines parallel to the first differential signal line pair arranged between the first and second ground lines, an insulating layer covering the first differential signal line pair, the first and second ground lines, a first shielding layer covering a first surface of the insulating layer, and a second shielding layer covering a second surface of the insulating layer, opposite to the first surface. The insulating layer includes an opening exposing the first ground line at the first surface of the insulating layer, and the first shielding layer is electrically connected to the first ground line through the opening. A width of the first ground line is greater than a width of each of the first and second signal lines.

A shielded flat cable includes multiple flat conductors arranged in parallel, a lower insulating layer provided on lower surfaces of the multiple conductors, a lower shield layer provided on a lower surface of the lower insulating layer, a lower protective layer provided on a lower surface of the lower shield layer, a lower contact portion that is exposed from the lower protective layer and provided to contact a second contact member of the connector, and that is electrically coupled to the lower shield layer, a terminal in which the multiple conductors are exposed at an end, and a reinforcing plate provided on the lower surface of the lower insulating layer and the lower surfaces of the multiple conductors at the terminal. The multiple conductors extend along the lower insulating layer and the reinforcing plate, and the lower contact portion and the terminal overlap in a side view.

A flat cable includes: a plurality of conductors arranged in parallel; an insulating layer formed, on first surfaces of the plurality of conductors and on second surfaces that are opposite surfaces of the first surfaces, along the plurality of conductors; an exposed portion where the first surfaces at end portions of the conductors are exposed to outside; and a reinforcement plate formed on the second surfaces opposite to the exposed portion. On the second surfaces opposite to the exposed portion, the reinforcement plate is directly formed on the conductors, and on the second surfaces opposite to the first surfaces that are in continuous with the exposed portion, the reinforcement plate is formed between the conductors and the insulating layer on the second surfaces.

Flat cable and method of manufacturing flat cable

A shielded flat cable includes a plurality of flat conductors arranged in parallel, a pair of resin insulating layers sandwiching the flat conductors from both sides of a parallel surface of the flat conductors, and covering portions other than end portions of the flat conductors in a length direction, a pair of shield layers in contact with an outer surface of at least one resin insulating layer of the pair of resin insulating layers, and a pair of first resin films with an adhesive covering an outer surface of the pair of resin insulating layers or the shield layer. A dielectric loss tangent of the resin insulating layer, of the pair of resin insulating layers, in contact with the shield layer is 0.001 or less at 10 GHz, and the adhesive or the pair of first resin films is made of a flame retardant material.

A shielded flat cable includes conductors arranged parallel to each other and respectively having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, a first insulator provided on the first surface of each of the conductors, and a second insulator provided on the second surface of each of the conductors. The first surface of each of the conductors includes an exposed surface at an end part along a longitudinal direction. The shielded flat cable further includes a shield member that includes a metal layer and is configured to cover the first insulator and a portion of the exposed surface of the first surface, via a resin layer.

A manufacturing method of a flat shield cable has a step of arranging a plurality of flat conductors including a ground line parallel with each other in one plane at a pitch P, a step of forming a flat cable by laminating a first insulating film on the flat conductors from both sides of an arrangement plane of the flat conductors, a step of laminating a shield layer on outside surfaces of the flat cable, and a step of electrically connecting the ground line to the shield layer. The manufacturing method further has a step of cutting the ground line at a portion other than in the conductor exposure portions and folding cutting portions of the ground line to outside the first insulating film before laminating the shield layer, and a step of electrically connecting only the folded ground line among the flat conductors to the shield layer.

Shield flat cable and manufacturing method thereof

A molded circuit component for connecting to lead wires includes body and a protective cover. The body includes a partition wall area having a plurality of housing grooves, partition walls, body notches, positioning projections and fastening pin reception apertures. The protective cover includes a plurality of cover notches, recesses and fastening pins to correspond respectively with the body notches, positioning projections and fastening pin reception apertures. Metal lines having connection terminals on their ends are embedded in the housing grooves. Lead wires are positioned in the grooves so that the conductors of the lead wires are placed on, and attached to, the connection terminals. The protective cover is then attached to the body.

Molded circuit component unit for connecting lead wires

A molded electrical connector for connecting electrical conductors comprises a molding section in which a plurality of metallic circuits are arranged in parallel with one another at predetermined intervals and are fixedly molded with resin such that first end portions of the metallic circiuts are exposed as connecting terminals. The molded electrical connector further comprises a connecting section which comprises the connecting terminals. The connecting section is molded with resin simultaneously when the molding section is formed. Electrical conductors are placed on the connecting terminals of the metallic circuits and welded together.
