An oxygen-absorbing container includes a container body having a multilayer structure constituted by an innermost layer, an outermost layer and an intermediate layer therebetween, the container body having an opening part on an upper part thereof; and a sealing member bonded to an upper end surface of the opening part of the container body to seal an opening of the opening part. The innermost layer and the intermediate layer are bent outward at an upper end of the opening part and form a flat part and a surface of the flat part forms the upper end surface of the opening part. When the sealing member is unsealed, part of the innermost layer on the upper end surface of the opening part is configured to be peeled off so as to leave an unsealed mark.

Container

A process for producing an oxygen absorbing agent includes treating an alloy with an aqueous solution of an acid or an alkali, the alloy including at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of manganese, iron, platinum, and copper group metals and at least one metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, zinc, tin, lead, magnesium, and silicon to elute and remove at least a part of the component; and subjecting the alloy obtained by removing at least a part of the component in the alloy to treatment with an aqueous solution of a salt of an inorganic acid or a salt of an organic acid that can form a salt with the transition metal as the component, to form a metal salt in at least a part of the surface of the alloy.

Process for producing oxygen absorbing agent

An oxygen absorbing agent has excellent oxygen absorbing properties and can absorb oxygen in an atmosphere, even under a moisture-free or substantially moisture-free atmosphere. The oxygen absorbing agent includes an alloy obtained by subjecting an alloy (X) including (A) at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of manganese, iron, platinum, and copper group metals and (B) at least one metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, zinc, tin, lead, magnesium, and silicon, to treatment with an alkali aqueous solution to elute and remove at least a part of the component (B) in the alloy (X), wherein the alloy (Y) has an X-ray diffraction profile satisfying a diffraction peak relationship.

Oxygen absorbing agent

There is provided an oxygen absorbing agent that can have a capability of absorbing oxygen in an atmosphere even when the atmosphere is free or substantially free from moisture. The oxygen absorbing agent comprises a metal, the metal having been obtained by subjecting an alloy comprising (A) at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of manganese, iron, platinum, and copper group metals and (B) at least one metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, zinc, tin, lead, magnesium, and silicon to treatment with an acidic or alkaline aqueous solution to elute and remove at least a part of the component (B).

Oxygen absorbing agent and method for storing the same

There are provided an oxygen absorbing resin composition, an oxygen absorbing multilayered body, and an oxygen absorbing hollow container that can absorb oxygen in an atmosphere even under a low-humidity atmosphere. The oxygen absorbing resin composition includes: (I) an oxygen absorbing agent consisting of a metal (a metal of (I)) obtained by subjecting an alloy comprising (A) at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of manganese, iron, platinum, and copper group metals and (B) at least one metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, zinc, tin, lead, magnesium, and silicon, to treatment with an acidic or alkaline aqueous solution to elute and remove at least a part of the component (B); and (II) a thermoplastic resin.

Oxygen absorbing resin composition, oxygen absorbing multilayered body, and oxygen absorbing hollow container

A deoxidant composition comprising 100 parts by weight of iron powder, 0.01 to 20 parts by weight of metal halide and 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of water repellent agent. The deoxidant composition even when used in a high-humidity atmosphere can maintain oxygen absorption potency. A deoxidant pack for high humidity obtained by wrapping the deoxidant composition without mixing of any inorganic filler by means of an air-permeable packaging material can reduce the apparent volume of deoxidant composition, so that the amount of packaging material used in the production of the deoxidant pack can be reduced.

Moisture-resistant deoxidant

An oxygen absorbent comprising an aliphatic hydrocarbon(s) with an unsaturated group(s) and/or an unsaturated fatty acid compound(s) and a catalyst containing both a transition metal salt(s) and a non-transition metal salt(s) is provided, whereby an oxygen absorbing velocity is remarkedly promoted.

Oxygen absorbent

Provided is a method for drying resin-used electronic parts which comprises enclosing resin-used electronic parts together with both an oxygen absorbent requiring no moisture for absorption of oxygen and a drying agent in a container having a gas barrier property and then sealing the container and removing oxygen and, preferably, then heating the sealed container. Thereby, no quality deterioration due to oxidation and degradation of a metal surface occurs in a drying step of resin-used electronic parts.

Method for drying resin-used electronic parts

There is disclosed herein an oxygen absorbent composition comprising an organic oxygen absorbent (A) which neither absorbs nor releases moisture and in which an oxidizable main component is supported on a porous silicate having an average pore diameter of 200 to 5,000 .ANG., and a formaldehyde absorbent (B) which neither absorbs nor releases moisture and is at least one of an amine, a thiol and a sulfonic acid that is supported on a porous carrier. According to this invention cultural assets made of organic materials which are required to be kept in a medial humidity atmosphere can be preserved in an atmosphere of a medial humidity, a low oxygen concentration and a low formaldehyde concentration by the use of the disclosed oxygen absorbent composition.

Oxygen absorbent composition

An oxygen absorption composition without requiring moisture in oxygen absorption which comprises an oxygen absorbent comprising, as a principal component, an oligomer in liquid form having an unsaturated group, a number-average molecular weight in the range of 150 to 4,000 and a viscosity in the range of 100 to 4,000 cP such as butadiene oligomer in liquid form and an oxygen absorption-accelerating substance, being supported on a carrier; and an other gas absorbent. The principal component may be replaced with an oligomer in liquid form having an unsaturated group and being incorporated with an oxygen-unabsorptive diluent to adjust the viscosity of the mixture to 10 to 4,000 cP. The composition is enhanced in oxygen absorption capability in every preservation atmosphere from a low humidity to an intermediate and high humidity, easily producible, minimized in gas generation after oxygen absorption and almost free from odor.

Oxygen absorption composition

A grafted aromatic polycarbonate resin is produced by melt-kneading a graft precursor comprising a mixture of 35 to 95% by weight of aromatic polycarbonate resin particles and 65 to 5% by weight of vinylic copolymer containing active oxygen, the vinylic copolymer being present in the aromatic polycarbonate resin particles, thereby subjecting to grafting reaction of the aromatic polycarbonate resin and the vinylic copolymer, where the grafting reaction can be sufficiently carried out and thus the grafted polycarbonate resin is useful for molding materials for optical disks, optical lenses, etc. a polymer blend-compatible agent, adhesives, paints, etc.

Graft precursor and process for producing grafted aromatic polycarbonate

A novel sulfur-containing aromatic vinyl compound represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and R.sub.2 represents an alkylene group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, and the two bonds in the benzene ring are meta or para to each other. A curable composition comprising at least one of the said vinyl compounds, an isocyanate compound and a radical polymerization initiator. On heating, the composition gives a crosslinked polymer article useful as lenses.
