To enable a lighting cover disposed over a plurality of light-emitting portions to have a soft tactile sensation, the lighting cover includes a light guide member and a soft light-transmissive member. The light guide member has a plurality of isolation spaces arranged to correspond to the plurality of light-emitting portions, and guides light from the plurality of light-emitting portions. The soft light-transmissive member has a soft tactile sensation, and transmits light generated from the plurality of light-emitting portions by being disposed on an outer side of the light guide member.

A method for manufacturing a near-infrared sensor cover includes a film setting step. The film setting step includes setting a heater film on a first molding die and setting a hard coating film on a second molding die. A film in which a decorative design layer is formed on a base film is positioned and locked relative to a cavity mold while the mold is open. A pressing portion includes a tip portion made of a soft material. The tip portion pushes the film toward the cavity mold and presses the film against a portion of the molding surface. A method for manufacturing a decorative molded article includes first to fourth steps. In the first step, a plastic sheet is secured to a cavity block in a state in which first and second portions are arranged along an open end of a molding recess. The plastic sheet is tightly held by the cavity block and a securing member at the first portions and is not tightly held at the second portions. In the second step, the plastic sheet is deformed. In the third step, the plastic sheet is secured to the cavity block in a state in which the plastic sheet is tightly held by the cavity block and the securing member over the entire periphery of the opening of the molding recess. In the fourth step, the plastic sheet is molded by being caused to closely contact the molding surface of the cavity block through vacuum suction.

A decorative film includes a dark-colored opaque substrate, which includes a surface that includes an uneven section, and a transparent decorative layer, which is stacked on the surface of the opaque substrate and closely contacts the uneven section. The uneven section includes ridges and grooves, which are located between the ridges. In a manufacturing method of a design member for transferring a decorative layer onto a design surface of a base body, the manufacturing method provides a recessed parting groove that is formed in at least a part of a border between a general surface and the design surface, arranges the base body in a chamber having a gas pressure adjusting device, places a transfer film on the design surface of the base body, and, with changing a gas pressure in the chamber by the gas pressure adjusting device to crimp the transfer film onto the design surface, presses the transfer film against the design surface under a heated state by a three-dimensional transferring tool made of an elastic body.

An injection molding apparatus includes a forming mold provided with a gas inlet through which a gas is introduced into an area between a rear molding surface in a cavity and a resin material inside the cavity.
