The invention relates to an electro-optical device having an electro-optical panel and a supporting frame that supports the electro-optical panel either directly or indirectly. The supporting frame of the electro-optical device according to an aspect of the invention includes: a resin base frame member; and a metal member that has an embedded portion that is covered inside the resin base frame member and an exposed portion that is exposed from the resin base frame member. In the configuration of the electro-optical device of the invention, the exposed portion of the metal member has an inner exposed portion that is exposed at a middle face of the inside of the supporting frame viewed along the thickness direction of the supporting frame. At least one of the electro-optical panel, which is supported inside the supporting frame, and other member is in contact with the inner exposed portion of the metal member.

The invention provides an electro-optical device that includes: an electro-optical panel; light sources that emit light that enters the electro-optical panel; an optical waveguide board that guides the light emitted from the light sources toward the electro-optical panel; and a flexible printed circuit board on which the light sources are mounted, wherein the flexible printed circuit board is adhered to the optical waveguide board by adhesive members in such a manner that a part of the flexible printed circuit board is opposed to a surface of the optical waveguide board and that the light sources are positioned to be opposed to an edge face of the optical waveguide board, and concave portions are formed in the optical waveguide board at least at positions where the adhesive members are provided.

The recessed portion has a transparent part opposed to the screen of a display . The surface of the front panel is provided with an exterior sheet covering the touch panel in the recessed portion . The exterior sheet has a transparent portion opposed to a manipulation surface of the touch panel . An outer peripheral portion of the exterior sheet has a rear surface adhered to the surface of a panel affixing portion formed around the recessed portion . The input device is easy to assemble and usable for inputting data without the likelihood of dust and the like ingressing into the device.

Portable input device

A key input device including a dome sheet provided over a base plate and having a plurality of dome portions, and a plurality of manual keys disposed above the dome sheet. Each of the dome portions is elastically restorably inverted by being depressed by the corresponding manual key to close contacts. The plurality of the manual keys described include a seesaw key with a pivotal pin, and the dome sheet has a flat sheet portion formed around the dome portions and includes an inner region extending inwardly of dome portions to be selectively depressed by a seesaw key, and an outer region extending outwardly of the dome portion. A spacer sheet is interposed between the base plate and the dome sheet to thereby position the inner region of the flat sheet portion of the dome sheet at a lower level than the outer region. The seesaw key pivotally moves about the contact portion of the pivotal pin and the inner region, whereby one of the dome portions is depressed.

Key input device

A portable wireless communications device including a casing having a circuit board accommodated therein for wireless communication and a cell chamber formed therein for accommodating a cell serving as a power source for the circuit board, the casing being formed with a peripheral wall defining the cell chamber and having an opening at each of an inlet side of the cell chamber and a bottom side thereof. The opening at the inlet side of the cell chamber is removably provided with a lid for closing the opening, and the opening at the bottom side of the cell chamber is fixedly provided with a sheet for closing the opening. This construction makes the device more compact and reduced in thickness.
