An on-vehicle display apparatus with an increased flat display size. The on-vehicle display apparatus includes a flat display capable of displaying various types of information, a light-transmitting substrate provided on a front-face side of the flat display, a pointer provided in the light-transmitting substrate, and a pointer drive means provided on a back-face side of the flat display. The pointer drive means rotates the pointer. The apparatus further includes a movement mechanism for moving the light-transmitting substrate to the outside of a display range. A first magnet is provided for the pointer, and a second magnet is provided for the pointer drive means and is configured to be opposite to first magnet.

On-vehicle flat display apparatus

To provide an indicator apparatus in which a pointer is secured to a pointer drive means by attraction force of magnets and the pointer can be secured more tightly to prevent an overshoot and pulsation of the pointer. The indicator apparatus has a display plate, a pointerprovided on a front-face side of the display plate, a pointer drive means provided on a back-face side of the display platefor rotating the pointer, a first magnetin a ring shape provided for the pointer, and a second magnetprovided for the pointer drive means to be opposite to the first magnet, in which the pointeris rotated in association with rotation drive of the pointer drive means by attraction force of the first and second magnets. A shaft portionrotatably supporting the pointeris located in the display plate. The shaft portionincludes a main shaft, a main-shaft receive portionsecuring the main shaftto the display plate, and a rotation shaft portionprovided rotatably about the main shaftand located on and secured to the pointer

Indicator apparatus

To provide an indicator apparatus in which a pointer is secured to a pointer drive means by attraction force of magnets and it is possible to prevent an overshoot and pulsation of the pointer with sufficient attraction force. The indicator apparatus has a display plate, a pointerprovided on a front-face side of the display plate, and a pointer drive means provided on a back-face side of the display platefor rotating the pointer. The indicator apparatus includes first magnetin a ring shape provided for the pointerand a second magnetprovided for the pointer drive means to be opposite to the first magnet, and the pointeris rotated in association with rotation drive of the pointer drive means by attraction force of the first and second magnets. A yokein a ring shape is located closer to a surface of the first magnetthat is not opposite to the second magnet
