An electronic device includes a first voltage output part configured to output a first voltage, a second voltage output part configured to output a second voltage, a first controller configured to receive the first voltage supplied from the first voltage output part, a second controller configured to receive the first voltage supplied from the first voltage output part, and a third controller configured to receive the second voltage supplied from the second voltage output part. The first controller stops the supply of the first voltage to the second controller by the first voltage output part after the supply of the second voltage to the third controller by the second voltage output part has been stopped.

Sub power source-type electronic device and image forming apparatus

An image forming system includes an image information processing apparatus that outputs image data, at least one format converting apparatus that converts the image data into ready-to-print data, and an image forming apparatus that prints out the ready-to-print image data. These apparatuses are connected to a network such that they communicate with one another. The image information processing apparatus transmits image data to image forming apparatus. If the image forming apparatus supports the data format of the image data, the image data is printed in the image forming apparatus. If the image forming apparatus does not support the data format of the image data, the image data is transferred to the format converting apparatus. The format converting apparatus converts the image data into the ready-to-print data and then transmits the ready-to-print data back to the image forming apparatus, which in turn prints the ready-to-print data.

Image forming system

A zero-crossing detecting device that detects a zero-crossing point of AC voltage, the device has a full-wave rectifier that rectifies the AC voltage and outputs a full-wave rectified voltage, a charger that is charged at a predetermined charging voltage by application of the full-wave rectified voltage, wherein the charger outputs a charging current when the full-wave rectified voltage falls below the charging voltage, and a signal output part that outputs a zero-crossing detecting signal. The signal output part outputs the zero-crossing detecting signal when the charging current flows to the signal output part.

Zero-crossing detecting device and image forming device

A fixing apparatus transports a recording medium carrying a developer image on it and heats the developer image to fix into the recording medium. A heat roller extends in a direction of its rotational axis and generates heat. An endless belt is loosely entrained on a belt guide. A pressurizing mechanism engages the endless belt from inside and urges the endless belt against the first rotating body. When the rotating body rotates, the endless belt and the second rotating body are driven in rotation in such a way that the recording medium is pulled in between the first rotating body and the endless belt.

To control a surface temperature of a heating element to be an appropriate fusing temperature, a fuser comprises a supporter having a core metal at least, a heating element supported by the supporter, a magnetic field generator for generating a magnetic field to render the heating element generate heat with induction heating, and a gap retainer disposed at the magnetic field generator, brought in contact with the supporter, for retaining a gap between the supporter and the magnetic field generator.

Fuser and image forming apparatus

To prevent a defective fusing from occurring, a fusing member has a roller; a fusing belt heated and rendered to drive along a circumference of the roller; a pressure member disposed outside the fusing belt and rendered in pressurized contact with the roller through the fusing belt; and a pushing member disposed inside the fusing belt, as arranged together with and at an upstream side from the roller in a driving direction of the fusing belt, and rendered in pressurized contact with the pressure member through the fusing belt. The fusing belt and the pressure member compose a contact area for allowing a recording medium to pass through. The pushing member is disposed inside the fusing belt as arranged together with and on an upstream side with respect to the roller in a driving direction of the fusing belt, so that the contact becomes wider.
