Normally, a phase fixed control is executed. In the event that a vibration value VAPP of an engine becomes greater than or equal to a predetermined vibration value VAPP_th, a first phase of an active vibration generated by a first actuator and a second phase of an active vibration generated by a second actuator are changed in mutually opposite directions.

Active vibration damping device

An ACM-ECU executes an amplitude variable-phase variable control for variably controlling both the amplitude and phase of active vibrations generated by an actuator according to rotation information, in the case that an engagement rate Lr detected by an LC engagement rate detecting function is greater than or equal to a predetermined engagement rate Lr_th.

In the case that an all-cylinder operational state is detected by an ENG vibration pattern determining function, an ACM-ECU executes an amplitude variable&#x2014;phase fixed control. Further, in the case that a cylinder paused operational state is detected by the ENG vibration pattern determining function, the ACM-ECU executes an amplitude variable&#x2014;phase variable control exhibiting a large vibration damping effect.

A control apparatus includes an actuator ECU for controlling a plurality of ACMs. When an engine is started or restarted, the actuator ECU begins a vibration suppressing control process with the ACMs for suppressing vibrations transmitted to a vehicle body when a crankshaft angle, which is represented by a CRK pulse signal from a CRK sensor, reaches a beginning crankshaft angle.

Control apparatus for controlling active vibroisolating support device

Provided are: an engine-mounted controller capable of being suitably used in a vehicle that carries out an idle-stop operation while the vehicle is moving; and a vehicle. An engine-mounted controller of a vehicle determines whether or not an engine is in a completely stopped state when an idle-stop operation is canceled. If the controller determines that the engine is in a completely stopped state, a first control operation for suppressing the transmission of engine vibrations associated with engine idling is executed on the assumption that the engine is in a completely stopped state, and if the controller determines that the engine is not in a completely stopped state, the first control operation is prohibited when the engine restarts.

Engine mounted controller, and vehicle

A control apparatus for controlling a vehicle includes an actuator ECU. The actuator ECU acquires a crankshaft angle (stopped crankshaft angle) at a time that an engine stops operating. The actuator ECU identifies a crankshaft angle depending on an edge of a first TDC pulse of a TDC pulse signal immediately after the engine has been started or restarted. Then, using the identified crankshaft angle as a reference, the actuator ECU corrects the stopped crankshaft angle.

Control apparatus for vehicles

A solenoid driving device with excellent electric power efficiency which drives and controls an actuator including a solenoid and an active vibration isolating support device which includes the solenoid driving device are disclosed. The solenoid driving device includes a booster circuit which boosts a battery voltage, and driving circuits which an actuator with the electric power supplied and boosted by the booster circuit. ACM_ECUA including a micro computer calculates the magnitude of the vibration of the engine, an engine vibration cycle and a phase lag to obtain the drive frequency of the actuator in the vibration state estimating unit and the phase detecting unit. A booster circuit controlling unit of the micro computer determines the target voltage based on the drive frequency. The target voltage is input to the booster circuit, and the booster circuit supplies the required electric power to the driving circuits at the target voltage.

Solenoid driving device and active vibration isolating support device equipped with the same

The natural vibration frequency of a roll resonance which does not occur since the engine rotation number is high in a normal operation range of an engine is detected at the time of engine start or stop when the engine rotation number is lower than the normal operation range, and thus the natural vibration frequency of the roil resonance can be detected with a good accuracy. A current is generated by an electromotive force of an actuator of the active vibration isolation support device excited by the engine immediately before stopping its rotation, and the frequency of the current is used to detect the natural vibration frequency of the engine, and the roll resonance of the engine is suppressed by controlling the operation of the active vibration isolation support device at the time of engine start based on the natural vibration frequency, thereby not only eliminating the need of a specific frequency detection sensor, but also effectively reducing the vibration at the time of engine start when the roll resonance becomes strong.

An information reproducing apparatus () is provided with: a detecting device () for irradiating an information. recording medium with laser light (LB) and detecting reflected light as a detection signal, the information recording medium including a first recording layer (L0) and a second recording layer (L1); a high pass filter () for performing a filtering process on the detected detection signal; and a reproducing device () for performing a reproduction process of the filtered detection signal to reproduce the data, the high pass filter attenuates a fluctuation component of the detection signal, caused by a relative eccentricity between the first recording layer and the second recording layer, by a first attenuation amount (34dB) or more.

Information recording medium, apparatus, and method, using dummy data in dummy data recording area

An information recording apparatus irradiates a recording light, such as a laser light, on a recording medium, such as various kinds of optical discs, and records information. A recording pulse signal is generated based on a recording signal corresponding to the information to be recorded. The recording pulse signal is also called 'strategy signal', and the signal includes driving pulses which drive a light source for forming a recording mark on the recording medium. As to the recording light such as the laser light, the high frequency signal is superimposed for decreasing occurrence of noise due to mode hopping. The high frequency signal is generated as a digital signal, and the signal is added to the recording pulse signal to generate a driving pulse signal. Then, the light source is driven and the recording light is emitted. By generating the high frequency signal as the digital signal, it is possible to control a frequency and a phase thereof with high accuracy.

Information recording apparatus and information recording method

A groove track and a land track are alternately and spirally formed on an information recording medium. On the land track neighboring the groove track, pre-information indicating position information of a track on a disc is formed as a prepit. On the information recording medium, an embossed area is formed so that information about a copyright and for preventing an illegal copy cannot be rewritten. In the embossed area, an embossed configuration including a pit and a space of predetermined depths is formed. The prepit in the embossed area is formed so that the prepit has an optimized configuration according to a pit length and a space length in the embossed area which the prepit neighbors. Consequently, interference between the embossed configuration and the prepit can be prevented even in a case that the prepit is formed in addition to the embossed configuration in the embossed area.

Information recording medium

A tilt of a light beam to be radiated onto an information recording disk is corrected without using a dedicated tilt sensor. The correction is performed based on the characteristic that an offset amount between a tilt amount maximizing an RF signal amplitude and a further tilt amount maximizing an LPP signal amplitude is constant and independent of positions on the same disk. A pre-pit signal indicative of an existence/nonexistence of a pre-pit formed on the disk is produced from returned light of the light beam, while an RF signal is produced from bits of information recorded on the disk on the basis of the returned light. An optimum tilt-correcting amount is decided by making use of a relationship between the pre-pit signal and the RF signal at a particular tilt amount. The tilt amount is corrected using the optimum tilt-correcting amount.

Method and apparatus for correcting tilt of light beam to optical recording medium

In an error counting apparatus and method, there are provided a reproducing section for reproducing the optical disc and a counter for counting the error number of the pre-pit signal based on an output of the reproducing section. When it is detected that the reproducing section come up to the reproduction of the emboss portion, a counting operation of the counter is started in response to this detection. When it is detected that the reproducing section has reproduced the optical disc in the predetermined interval after the counting operation is started, the counting operation of the counter is stopped in response to this detection.

Error counting apparatus for counting an error number of a pre-pit signal in an optical disc and method therefor

An AR measuring apparatus receives the reflection light of an optical beam irradiated on an optical recording medium having a recording surface on which pre-pits are repeatedly formed between tracks by means of a first light receiving surface and a second light receiving surface, obtains a push-pull signal based on the difference between light receiving signals from the first and second light receiving surfaces, collects sample data by sampling the push-pull signals for a predetermined period of time, repeats the sampling for the predetermined period of time by a plurality of times, determines whether or not each data value corresponding to a pre-pit position of the sample data by the plurality of times is obtained by a predetermined number of times or greater, and when data values obtained by the predetermined number of times or greater are determined, calculates as an aperture ratio, a ratio between the minimum value and the maximum value of values corresponding to a pre-pit component of the data values obtained by the predetermined number of times or greater.
