An ejector includes a nozzle, a needle and a body. The nozzle reduces a pressure of a fluid and discharges the fluid as an injected fluid from a fluid injection port. The body includes a fluid suction port and a pressure increasing portion. The fluid suction port draws, as a suction fluid, a fluid from an outside of the body by using a suction force generated by the injected fluid. The pressure increasing portion increases a pressure of a mixture of the injected fluid and the suction fluid. The nozzle includes a throat portion and a nozzle-side tapered portion. The throat portion reduces a passage cross-sectional area of the fluid passage to be smallest in the fluid passage at the throat portion. The nozzle-side tapered portion expands the passage cross-sectional area of the fluid passage toward the downstream side in the flow direction of the fluid. In an axial cross section, an injection-flow spread angle formed on the downstream side in the flow direction of the fluid between a central axis and a tangent line of an injection-flow center line at the fluid injection port is 0&#xb0; or greater.

Ejector

When an ejector having a variable nozzle and a variable throttle mechanism are integrated together as an ejector module, a nozzle-side central axis CLand a decompression-side driving mechanism have a twisted positional relationship, if the nozzle-side central axis CLis defined as a central axis of a nozzle-side driving mechanism in a displacement direction in which the nozzle-side driving mechanism of the ejector having the variable nozzle displaces a needle valve, and the decompression-side central axis CLis defined as a central axis of a decompression-side driving mechanism in a displacement direction in which the decompression-side driving mechanism of the variable throttle mechanism displaces a throttle valve. When viewed from the central axis direction of one of the nozzle-side central axis CLand the decompression-side central axis CL, a driving portion corresponding to the one central axis is disposed to overlap with the other central axis.

Ejector module

A vehicle cabin air conditioning system includes a cabin indoor air conditioner and an individual air conditioner configured to condition air in a target space inside a cabin. The individual air conditioner includes a blower, a heat generator, a supply port, and an exhaust port. The supply port supplies one of a cold air cooled with the heat generator and a warm air heated with the heat generator to the target space. The exhaust port provides the other of the cold air and the warm air to outside of the target space. The cabin indoor air conditioner includes a cabin blower, a temperature control unit, and a suction port through which air is sucked for the temperature control unit. An air flow path is provided to guide air sent from the exhaust port of the individual air conditioner to the suction port of the cabin indoor air conditioner.

Vehicle cabin air conditioning system

A seat air-conditioning system includes a plurality of seat air-conditioning devices respectively disposed for seats. Each of the seat air-conditioning devices achieves comfortable air conditioning in a vehicle interior by a controller controlling a refrigeration circuit, a blower, and a blowing switching portion in each seat air-conditioning device. A coordinating flow path is disposed to fluidly connect the blowing switching portion of one seat air-conditioning device to the blowing switching portion of the other seat air-conditioning device. The seat air-conditioning system performs the air conditioning for one seat by using the two seat air-conditioning devices by supplying conditioned air via the coordinating flow path under control of the controller.

Seat air-conditioning system

A refrigeration cycle device includes a compressor, a first branch portion, a radiator, a second branch portion, a first decompressor, a first evaporator, a second decompressor, a second evaporator, and an ejector. The first branch portion divides a flow of a refrigerant discharged from the compressor into one flow and an other flow. The radiator radiates heat of the refrigerant of the one flow. The second branch portion divides a flow of the refrigerant from the radiator into one flow and an other flow. The first decompressor decompresses the refrigerant of the one flow divided in the second branch portion. The second decompressor decompresses the refrigerant of the other flow divided in the second branch portion. A nozzle of the ejector decompresses and injects the refrigerant of the other flow divided in the first branch portion. The refrigerant suction port draws the refrigerant from the second evaporator.

Refrigeration cycle device

An ejector-integrated heat exchanger includes multiple tube forming members. The tube forming member includes an ejector, a flow-out side refrigerant passage, and a suction side refrigerant passage. The ejector includes a nozzle portion decompressing a refrigerant, a refrigerant suction port, and a pressure increasing portion in which the refrigerant drawn from the refrigerant suction port and the refrigerant jetted from the nozzle portion are mixed, a pressure of the mixed refrigerant being increased in the pressure increasing portion. In the flow-out side refrigerant passage, the refrigerant flowing out of the pressure increasing portion performs heat exchange while flowing. In the suction side refrigerant passage, the refrigerant that is to be drawn through the refrigerant suction port performs heat exchange while flowing. Multiple tube forming members are arranged such that the refrigerant flows in parallel with each other.

Ejector-integrated heat exchanger

In an ejector refrigeration cycle, an inlet of a nozzle portion of an ejector is connected to a refrigerant outlet side of a high-stage side evaporator, a refrigerant suction port of the ejector is connected to a refrigerant outlet side of a low-stage side evaporator, and an internal heat exchanger is provided for exchanging heat between a high-pressure refrigerant flowing into a low-stage side throttle device for decompressing the refrigerant flowing into the low-stage side evaporator, and a low-stage side low-pressure refrigerant flowing out of the low-stage side evaporator. Because a difference in enthalpy between the inlet and outlet of the low-stage side evaporator can be enlarged, the cooling capacities exhibited by the respective evaporators can be adjusted to be closer to each other even if the flow-rate ratio Ge/Gn of the suction refrigerant flow rate Ge to the injection refrigerant flow rate Gn is set to a relatively small value so as to make it possible to improve the COP of the cycle.

Ejector refrigeration cycle

An ejector draws a refrigerant on a downstream side of an exterior heat exchanger serving as an evaporator, from a refrigerant suction port by a suction effect of an injection refrigerant injected from a nozzle portion for decompressing a part of the refrigerant discharged from a compressor, and mixes the injection refrigerant with the suction refrigerant to pressurize the mixed refrigerant at a diffuser. The refrigerant flowing out of the diffuser is drawn into the compressor. In this way, the density of the refrigerant drawn into the compressor can be increased, thereby suppressing reduction in flow amount of the refrigerant flowing into an interior condenser serving as a radiator. Thus, even if the temperature of the outside air (heat-absorption target fluid) is decreased, the interior condenser is prevented from degrading its heating capacity for the ventilation air (heating target fluid).

An ejector includes a body part having a depressurizing space in which a refrigerant flowing out of a swirling space is depressurized, a suction passage that draws a refrigerant from an external, and a pressurizing space in which the refrigerant from the depressurizing space is mixed with the refrigerant from the suction passage, a conical passage formation member that is arranged in the body part, and a driving device that displaces a nozzle body of the body part forming the depressurizing space. A nozzle passage is defined on an outer peripheral side of the passage formation member in the depressurizing space, a diffuser passage is formed on an outer peripheral side of the passage formation member in the pressurizing space, and an actuating bar that couples the driving device with the nozzle body is arranged without crossing the diffuser passage.

A body part of a decompression device has a swirl space for swirling a refrigerant that flows from a refrigerant inlet, and a refrigerant outlet that is positioned on an extension line of a swirl center line of the refrigerant and functions as a throttle. Further, a passage cross-sectional area of the refrigerant inlet is configured to be smaller than a twelve-fold value of a passage cross-sectional size of the refrigerant outlet, such that a swirl speed of the refrigerant in the swirl space is increased so as to enable a decompression boiling of the refrigerant around the swirl center line. In such manner, a gas-liquid mixture phase refrigerant securely flows into the refrigerant outlet, and it restricts a fluctuation of a flow amount of the refrigerant flowing toward a downstream side without complicating a cycle structure.

Decompression device having flow control valves and refrigeration cycle with said decompression device

An ejector includes (i) a body part including a depressurizing space in which a refrigerant flowing out of a swirling space is depressurized, a suction passage that draws a refrigerant from an external, and a pressurizing space in which a jet refrigerant jetted from the depressurizing space and a suction refrigerant drawn from the suction passage are mixed with each other to be pressurized, (ii) a conical passage formation member which is arranged inside the body part, and (iii) a swirling promotion part. A nozzle passage is provided in the depressurizing space on an outer peripheral surface of the passage formation member, and a diffuser passage is provided in the pressurizing space on the outer peripheral surface of the passage formation member. The swirling promotion part includes a flow regulation plate that promotes a swirling flow of the refrigerant flowing in the diffuser passage.

An ejector includes a body member having a depressurizing space that depressurizes a refrigerant which flows out of a swirling space that swirls the refrigerant, a suction passage that draws the refrigerant from an external, and a pressurizing space that mixes a refrigerant jetted from the depressurizing space with a refrigerant drawn from the suction passage and pressurizes the mixed refrigerant, and a conical passage formation member arranged in the depressurizing space and in the pressurizing space. A nozzle passage is formed of a refrigerant passage between an inner peripheral surface of the depressurizing space and an outer peripheral surface of the passage formation member, and a diffuser passage is formed of a refrigerant passage between an inner peripheral surface of a portion that defines the pressurizing space and an outer peripheral surface of the passage formation member.

A refrigerant distributor includes a body portion defining a swirl space, a refrigerant inflow port, and first and second refrigerant outflow ports which causes refrigerant in the swirl space to flow out and distributes the refrigerant to components of a refrigeration cycle device. When a line connecting swirl centers of refrigerant swirling in the swirl space is taken as a swirl center line, the refrigerant swirls in the swirl space such at a velocity of a swirl flow that more vapor-phase refrigerant exists on an inner radius side than on an outer radius side and the velocity of swirl flow at the swirl center line on both end sides are different from each other. The first refrigerant outflow port is arranged at the one end side, and the second refrigerant outflow port is arranged at the other end side, on an extended line of the swirl center line.
