A vehicle control system is provided with a motor generator and has a function of, if a vehicle-stop brake fluid pressure at a vehicle stop timing is less a predetermined pressure necessary for holding a vehicle in a stopped state, boosting the vehicle-stop brake fluid pressure to the stop holding fluid pressure or greater to hold the vehicle in the stopped state. The system includes a first calculator, a second calculator, and a vehicle stop controller. The first calculator calculates a target driving force for the vehicle. The second calculator calculates, from the target driving force, a requested driving force for drive control of the motor generator and a requested brake fluid pressure to be used for brake control. The vehicle stop controller performs, at a timing immediately before the vehicle stop timing, a pre-boosting process of increasing the brake fluid pressure to the stop holding fluid pressure or greater.

Vehicle control system

A vehicle control system includes a target driving force calculator that calculates a target driving force of a vehicle, an arithmetic operator that calculates a request driving force and a request braking force, and a stop keeping processor that keeps the vehicle in a stopped state by increasing a brake fluid pressure so that a braking force becomes equal to or larger than a stop keeping braking force. The arithmetic operator executes a pressure pre-increasing process for pre-increasing the brake fluid pressure before a stop timing and setting, as the request driving force, a cancellation driving force for canceling a braking force for pressure pre-increase, and controls, in the pressure pre-increasing process, the request braking force so that the braking force for the pressure pre-increase is increased within a range in which the braking force does not exceed a braking force threshold smaller than the stop keeping braking force.

A vehicle control system includes a target drive force calculation unit, an arithmetic unit, a stop holding unit, a power-running-generative drive force calculation unit, and a traveling mode selection unit. The arithmetic unit calculates required drive force and required brake force based on target drive force calculated by the target drive force calculation unit. The arithmetic unit calculates the required drive force by setting the required brake force to stop hold brake force or greater if an engine traveling mode is selected at an immediately preceding timing by the traveling mode selection unit. The arithmetic unit calculates the required brake force by setting the required drive force to less than or equal to power-running-generative drive force calculated by the power-running-generative drive force calculation unit if an electric vehicle traveling mode is selected at the immediately preceding timing by the traveling mode selection unit.

A power transmission mechanism includes a first pinion gear meshed with a first sun gear coupled to a first output shaft; a second pinion gear meshed with a second sun gear coupled to a second output shaft and meshed with the first pinion gear; a differential case coupled to an input shaft and supporting the first and second pinion gears; an internal gear rotatable about the axes of the first and second output shafts; a motor generator coupled to the internal gear; a first one-way clutch including a first inner ring member configured to move in conjunction with the first pinion gear and a first outer ring member meshed with the internal gear; and a second one-way clutch including a second inner ring member configured to move in conjunction with the second pinion gear and a second outer ring member meshed with the internal gear.

Power transmission mechanism

A vehicle includes a common pedal that receives an acceleration operation and a deceleration operation in accordance with a depression amount, a deceleration deriving unit that derives a deceleration of the vehicle based on the deceleration operation of the common pedal, a first distance deriving unit that derives a predicted stopping distance that is a distance between a current position of the vehicle and a predicted stop position at which the vehicle is predicted to stop when travelling at the derived deceleration, a second distance deriving unit that derives a target stopping distance that is a distance between the current position of the vehicle and a target stop position at which the vehicle is to stop, and a deceleration correcting unit that corrects the deceleration of the vehicle based on the predicted stopping distance and the target stopping distance.

Vehicle

A power transmission mechanism including a planetary mechanism, an electronically controlled clutch, and a motor generator. The planetary mechanism is coupled to an input shaft and first and second output shafts. The planetary mechanism includes a differential element rotating the first and second output shafts at different rotation speeds. The planetary mechanism outputs a torque input to the first and second output shafts. The electronically controlled clutch includes first and second clutch plates. The first clutch plate is coupled to a member different from the differential element. The second clutch plate is coupled to the differential element. The electronically controlled clutch allows the differential element to rotate the first and second output shafts at the different rotation speeds when the first and second clutch plates are released. The electronically controlled clutch restricts a rotation speed difference in response to engaging between the first and second clutch plates.

A vehicle control apparatus controls a vehicle-control force of a vehicle that is switchable between traveling under normal traveling control and traveling under cruise control. The apparatus includes a first target-vehicle-control-force determination unit, a second target-vehicle-control-force determination unit, and a vehicle-control-force controlling unit. The first target-vehicle-control-force determination unit determines a target vehicle-control force of the normal traveling control on the basis of an accelerator position, and switches a control mode of the normal traveling control between a normal mode and a one-pedal mode. The second target-vehicle-control-force determination unit determines a target vehicle-control force of the cruise control, and execute override when the accelerator position is greater than a reference accelerator position in the cruise control. The vehicle-control-force controlling unit controls the vehicle-control force on the basis of the target vehicle-control force determined by the first target-vehicle-control-force determination unit or the second target-vehicle-control-force determination unit.

Vehicle control apparatus and method of controlling vehicle-control force

A power supply system including: a driving motor capable of outputting power for driving a driving wheel; a main battery that stores electricity to be supplied to the driving motor; an engine capable of outputting power for driving the driving wheel; a starter motor that starts the engine; an auxiliary battery that stores electricity to be supplied to the starter motor and auxiliaries; a switch of capable of making or breaking an electric coupling between the auxiliary battery and the starter motor, and the auxiliaries and the main battery; and a control apparatus that diagnoses an abnormality in the auxiliary battery. The main battery is coupled to the auxiliaries via a DC-DC converter capable of stepping down a voltage of electricity stored in the main battery. The auxiliary battery is coupled to the auxiliaries via the switch. The controller diagnoses an abnormality in the auxiliary battery with the switch open.
