A seat adjuster for a vehicle seat is provided. The seat adjuster comprises a rotation mechanism that comprises a rotation part, a rotation drive device that rotates the rotation part, an engagement target member that is configured to be rotated integrally with the rotation part and comprises engagement target portions formed along a rotational direction of the engagement target member, and an engagement member that is configured so that, when one of the engagement target portions is located in a specified engageable position, the engagement member is moved in a direction closer to the engagement target member to be engageable with the one of the engagement target portions located in the specified engageable position.

A seat slide apparatus for a vehicle, the seat slide apparatus includes: a lower rail which is fixed to a vehicle floor; an upper rail which is slidably engaged with the lower rail; and a rolling element circulation unit having rolling elements and interposed between the lower rail and the upper rail in a state where the rolling elements are able to be circulated, in which the lower rail includes a bottom wall portion, sidewall portions, and upper wall portions, the upper rail includes a main body portion, and folded-back portions, the rolling element circulation unit includes a case having an annular accommodating path accommodating the rolling elements, between the lower rail and the upper rail, an upper rolling element circulation unit and a lower rolling element circulation unit are provided to be disposed at two positions spaced apart from each other, and the upper rail includes a pedestal portion.

Seat slide apparatus for vehicle

A vehicular seat slide device is provided with a lower an upper rail, a lock member, a memory piece, a memory link, a slide member, and a stopper member. The memory piece is engaged with the upper rail and the lower rail. The memory link releases the lock member and the memory piece with urging force of a memory link urging member, and pivots in a releasing direction to press the lock member in a pivot direction and press the memory piece against the urging force of the memory piece urging member. The slide member releases the memory link with urging force of a slider urging member, and presses the memory link in the release direction by moving as a seat back is collapsed forward. After the seatback is collapsed forward and the upper rail is moved in a seat-rearward direction, the stopper member contacts the memory piece.

Vehicular seat slide device

A seat slide apparatus for a vehicle includes a first rail including a locked portion, a second rail movably connected relative to the first rail and including bearing holes, a lock member including a lock portion and rotating around the bearing holes to engage the lock portion with the locked portion and disengage the lock portion from the locked portion to selectively bring a relative movement between the first and second rail into a locked state, and wherein the second rail includes a fracture opening allowing the shaft portion to shift from the bearing hole in a case where a load is inputted in the direction of the relative movement, and a restriction portion configured to restrict the lock member from rotating in a direction in which the locked state is released in a case where the shaft portion shifts from the bearing hole.

The seat lifter device for a vehicle includes a lock/unlock device which is formed with an engagement/disengagement mechanism to produce a lock condition in which the relative rotation between a first rotation member and a second rotation member is restricted and an unlock condition in which the relative rotation therebetween is allowed by the engagement/disengagement operation of the engagement/disengagement mechanism such that a detent member movably supported on the first rotation member fixed to the base frame side engages with or disengages from the second rotation member fixed to the rear link member. This seat lifter device can firmly hold the seat lifted position even when an exterior force generated upon a vehicle collision is applied to the engagement/disengagement mechanism through the rear link member.

Vehicle seat lifter device

An acceleration detecting device includes a hollow housing having a side wall, a bottom wall and an opening and a cover closing the opening of the hollow housing. A weight is pivotally mounted in the hollow housing to be rotated about a locus in response to an applied acceleration. Also positioned within the housing is a contact assembly to be electrically-closed by the rotated weight. A plastic main body is held in the hollow housing along the side wall to support the contact assembly and keep the contact assembly spaced from the locus of the weight during the rotation of the weight. The plastic main body which supports the contact assembly may have a wider support along the side wall of the hollow housing, which is independent from fixture of the cover. Therefore, the contact assembly may be supported by the hollow housing through the main body in a more reliable manner. Further, the weight may rotate without any interference to the contact assembly because the contact assembly is kept off the locus of the weight.

Acceleration detecting device

An acceleration detecting device includes a housing, a weight pivotally mounted inside the housing for rotating along a locus in response to an applied acceleration, a spring provided between the housing and the weight to apply a biasing force to the weight against the applied acceleration, and a contact assembly located outside the locus of the weight. The contact assembly is adapted to be electrically closed by the rotation of the weight. An arc-shaped circumference of the weight maintains the same distance between the weight and the contact assembly during the rotation of the weight. When an excessive acceleration is applied to the device, the weight rotates from an initial position against the biasing force of the spring to electrically close the contact assembly. The weight is returned to the initial position by the biasing force of the spring to electrically open the contact assembly when the excess acceleration is no longer present. Because the spring which applies the biasing force is separated from the contact assembly, the biasing force is reliably maintained for a longer period. Further, the weight can rotate without any interference to the contact assembly because the arc-shaped outer circumference of the weight maintains the contact assembly spaced from the locus of the weight.

An impact sensing apparatus includes a container, a weight swingably supported in the container and which is swung by an impact exceeding a predetermined value, an output member rotatably supported in the container and which engages the weight, the output member disengages the weight by the swing movement of the weight. A spring member is disposed between the container and the output member, which biases the output member so as to be rotated, and urges the weight so as not to swing. The weight includes a stopper portion for contacting the container so as to hold the weight at an initial position. The stopper portion is disposed at an outside edge of the weight and spaced from the pivotal axis of the weight so that the spring member presses against the container in an upwardly direction substantially vertical to a surface of the container.
