A weapon mount is provided to connect an accessory to a weapon adjacent a sight. The mount can include a main body, a forward projecting first arm and a locking plate. The main body can engage a rear of the sight, for example, a front sight post, and the locking plate can engage a front of the sight. The locking plate, main body and mount can be centered on the post via a centering fastener projecting through a center plate hole of the locking plate, and can be clamped to the sight post via first and second fasteners projecting through the locking plate and engaged with the first arm and a second arm which can be part of the main body or a modular body. The modular body can be slidably joined with the main body via a guide rail and corresponding slot. A related method is provided.

Sight mount and related method of use

A weapon mount is provided to connect an accessory to a weapon adjacent a sight. The mount can include a main body, a forward projecting first arm and a locking plate. The main body can engage a rear of the sight, for example, a front sight post, and the locking plate can engage a front of the sight. The locking plate, main body and mount can be centered on the post via a centering fastener projecting through a center plate hole of the locking plate, and can be clamped to the sight post via first and second fasteners projecting through the locking plate and engaged with the first arm and a second arm which can be part of the main body or a modular body. The modular body can be slidably joined with the main body via a guide rail and corresponding slot. A related method of use is provided.

A rotatable buttstock mount can include a tube, a boss, a support frame including a rearward ring and a guide pin in a guide slot such that the support frame can rotate relative to the tube. When a buttstock is secured to the mount, the buttstock can rotate with the frame and thereby change the axial angle of the buttstock relative to the weapon to which the mount is secured, thereby providing a user with a variety of angular orientations of the buttstock for different shooting configurations. The mount can rotate freely relative to the tube, being actuated simply by overcoming a friction interface between components and/or a detent between the components. Thus, actuation of the mount and rotation of the buttstock to a custom angular position can be easily and quickly implemented to obtain a selected configuration for the user.

Rotatable buttstock

An accessory mount for removably attaching an accessory to a firearm rail includes a base having a mounting rail, a lock block moveable in a recess of the base and a throw lever, which when activated, allows springs to move the lock block in the recess so the lock block disengages the firearm rail in an open mode. The thumb lever also can engage the lock block to a closed mode in which it clamps the mount to the firearm rail in a fixed position relative to the firearm. An accessory thus can be firmly, consistently and securely mounted relative to the firearm with the mount. The thumb lever can be joined with a threaded shaft that engages a threaded element, for example, a keps nut, associated with the lock block. A toggle lock can selectively engage notches in the threaded element to set the overall clamping force of the lock block and mount on the firearm rail.

Firearm rail mount and related method of use

A stock assembly and related method are provided. The stock assembly can include a base that can be joined with a weapon and a butt portion that movably extends from the base so the stock assembly can be adjusted in length. The stock can include an adjustment limiter configured to stop extension of the butt portion at a predetermined length, which can be set by a user to fit their stature. The butt portion can include a longitudinal axis and a limiter surface offset at an angle relative to the axis. The adjustment limiter can be a wedge that wedges against the limiter surface to set the stock assembly at the predetermined length, thereby automatically setting that length in a consistent and repeatable manner. A lock, separate from the adjustment limiter, can selectively lock the butt portion in a fixed position as or after the stock assembly attains the predetermined length.

Firearm adjustable length stock assembly

A stock mount assembly, which mounts a stock to a weapon, can include a base block including a longitudinal axis separating a first side and an opposing second side; a first lateral wedge opposing a second lateral wedge; a locking block slidably engaging the first lateral wedge and the second lateral wedge at a plurality of facets angled relative to one another; and a fastener aligned with the longitudinal axis. Rotation of the fastener can displace the locking block relative to the base block to urge the first lateral wedge and the second lateral wedge away from one another to forcibly engage first and second side surfaces of a cavity within the firearm to secure a stock to the firearm with the assembly. A related method of use is provided.

Firearm stock mount assembly

A base detachably joined with a support pod, which supports a weapon in a firing position, is provided with finely tuned length adjustability. The base can include a quick detach first connector joined with a lower end of a leg of a support pod, a threaded core post having a shaft, and an actuator sleeve threadably and rotatably engaged with the core post to extend and/or retract the core post, and thereby adjust a length of the base. The base can include a locking ring rotatable to move along the threaded portion, the locking ring configured to selectively engage the actuator sleeve and prevent the actuator sleeve from rotating, to thereby set the length of the base at a fixed length. A related method of use is provided.

Firearm support base and related method of use

A support pod that supports a weapon in a firing position includes a support tube telescopingly joined with a leg having a longitudinal axis. A lock portion defines grooves downwardly angled relative to the longitudinal axis. A guide portion defines recesses downwardly angled relative to the axis. The recesses can be distal and separate from the grooves, and both optionally are downwardly spiraling. The leg is operable in a locked mode, in which a lock element is in a groove, and a guide element is in a corresponding recess, to set a first overall length of the support. The leg can operate in an adjustment mode in which the lock and guide element can transition out from the groove and recess, and can move to other respective grooves and recesses chosen by a user to set the pod at another overall length. A related method of use is provided.

Firearm rail mount

A scope mount assembly is provided including a scope mount having a reference axis and a level indicator rotatably joined with the scope mount. The level indicator can be rotatable from a stored mode, where a level indicator axis is transverse to the reference axis, to an extended mode, where the level indicator axis is transverse to the reference axis, and the level indicator projects laterally away from the reference axis. The assembly can include a first magnet that magnetically secures the level indicator in the stored mode, and a second magnet that magnetically secures the level indicator in the extended mode. A user rearward of the mount can view the laterally extending level indicator when the level indicator is in the extended mode, and optionally when the level indicator is in the stored mode, to confirm the level of the scope and any weapon to which it is mounted.

Scope mount assembly with integral leveler

A quick mount for removably attaching an accessory to a longitudinal rail, the mount including a base having a first leg with a first undercut wall that engages a first longitudinal rail surface, a second leg opposite the first undercut wall, a retention plate rotatably mounted to the base adjacent the second leg and a bias element. The retention plate is operable in a secure mode in which the bias element urges the retention plate to rotate and engage a second undercut wall of the plate against a second longitudinal rail surface opposite the first surface and thereby clamp the mount to the rail. The retention plate is operable in a release mode where the second undercut wall disengages the second surface thereby releasing the mount from the rail. The mount can include a toggle lock to lock the plate in the secure mode. A related method is provided.

Quick mount for a rail

A handguard and related method are provided. The handguard can include a clamp with opposing ramped surfaces, wedges engaging the ramped surfaces, and fasteners extending through the wedges and opposite sides of the handguard. Rotating the fasteners urges the wedges against the ramped surfaces to urge the clamp and a corresponding clamp element against a barrel to clamp the handguard to it. Where multiple fasteners are included, they can extend in opposite directions over the barrel, and can have reversed locking directions to distribute clamping forces to the barrel evenly. The clamp and wedges can prevent rotation of the handguard and provide parallel upward and downward movement. A fastener can extend through a wedge bore without engaging that wedge bore, while another fastener can threadably engage another wedge bore in the same wedge to provide horizontal wedge movement via rotation of the fastener.

Handguard and related method of use

An optical device includes a toolless rezero system and/or a zero locking system. The rezero system can operate in a first mode in which a scale ring is non-rotatable relative to an axis. The ring can be manually moved to a second mode, where the ring is rotatable relative to the axis, so alphanumeric characters and bars can be moved about the axis to align a preselected zero element with a reference element and rezero the device. The zero locking system can include a locking cover button that is manually movable to automatically operate a locking ring in a first mode in which it rotatably couples the dial with an adjusting pin to move a reticle, and in a second mode in which it couples the adjustment dial to an immovable wheelbase so the dial is non-rotatable, and the reticle is locked in position.
