A battery module for a motor vehicle has a battery module housing () with an insertion opening () and at least one battery cell package () is arranged in the battery module housing (). The battery cell package () has at least two battery cells () arranged parallel to one another and at least one compression pad () arranged parallel to the battery cells (). The battery cells () and the at least one compression pad () are stacked one on top of the other in any desired order in a thickness direction (D). The battery cell package () is inserted in an insertion direction (E) through the insertion opening () into the battery module housing (). The battery cell package () also has two insertion auxiliary layers () that respectively form outer sides () of the battery cell package () that are opposite in the thickness direction (D).

Battery module for a motor vehicle and method for the production thereof

A sill for a body structure of a vehicle, in an installed state, extends substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Outer, middle and inner sill parts are each of shell-like or hat-like cross section and have respective sill strengths. The outer sill part and the inner sill part are connected to one another at respective upper and lower ends thereof via flanges. A middle sill part is positioned between the outer sill part and the inner sill part. The middle sill part is connected at least to the inner sill part. At least in a region of a front section as viewed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, the outer sill part has a strength which is lower than a mean strength of the sill, which is dependent on the outer sill strength, the inner sill strength and the middle sill strength and masses thereof.

A support structure is provided for a motor vehicle that has a front wheel (). The support structure includes an A pillar () having a slide-off surface () for the front wheel. The slide-off surface for the front wheel () is inclined so that the front wheel () slides out along the slide-off surface ().

Motor vehicle support structure

A seat for a transportation vehicle has a rigid seat cushion structure and a rigid seat back structure. The seat back structure has two rigid side parts and upper and lower crosspieces connecting the side parts. The upper crosspiece connects the two side parts to each other in the region of their upper ends, and the lower crosspiece connects the two side parts at a distance from the lower ends. The lower crosspiece is above that region of the rear part that supports the posterior of the occupant. The arrangement of the lower rigid crosspiece holds the posterior of the occupant between the lower crosspiece and the seat cushion structure. Thus, the occupant's back and head are not moved up, in particular are not moved beyond the region of the head restraint of the rear part.

The seat shell () is connected to the respective seat support () so that the seat shell () and the seat support () form a closed profile in the connection region. The seat shell () is formed from a light metal and combines maximum weight reduction with a high degree of rigidity, in particular high torsional or bending stiffness.

A device is provided for electrically adjusting a vehicle seat (). The device has left and right articulated constructions () arranged respectively on left and right sides () of the vehicle seat (). The device also has at least one electric motor () coupled to left and right gear mechanisms () for moving the respective left and right articulated constructions () and left and right locking mechanisms () for locking the respective left and right articulated constructions (). The design permits a precise adjustment of the vehicle seat and secure locking of the vehicle seat in the event of a crash.

An arrangement is provided for a component () and a drive element () for the component. The drive element has a housing (). The component is produced by a primary forming process, such as die-casting, thixomolding or plastic injection molding so that a region of the component defines the housing of the drive element. The airbag () has a gas-receiving element () and an inflating device () for the gas-receiving element (). The gas-receiving element () is defined at one side by a portion () of the frame () and at the other side by a delimiting element () that is fastened to the frame () and that can be displaced as the airbag () inflates.
