Grinders, analyzers, and related technologies are described herein. The grinders can hold foodstuff that is periodically ground. The analyzers can analyze the foodstuff to determine information about the state of the foodstuff. Algorithms can be used to determine how to process the foodstuff, how to use the foodstuff, and/or when to discard the foodstuff. The grinder can be a portable, rechargeable electric coffee grinder configured to monitor the freshness of the coffee beans. When coffee beans become stale, they can be discarded and the coffee grinder can be refilled with fresh coffee beans.

A foldable conveyor system is disclosed appropriate for loading and unloading an airplane using two people. In one embodiment, the foldable conveyor system is formed of a plurality of foldable sections, where each section has a first half and a second half foldably connected to each other. Each first half and each second half has reversible tension-controlled conveyor belts for moving luggage into or out of an aircraft. When fully deployed, and thus operating flat along the interior of an aircraft, the foldable conveyor system operates to move luggage and other objects placed on the foldable conveyor system in a selected direction.

A pair of tongs, comprises: first and second arms, each arm having a gripping end and a pivot end. A hinge pivotably joins the first and second arms at the pivot ends thereof. A spring is coupled to each of the first and second arms, the spring being biased to urge the first and second arms apart, from a first, closed position, to a second, open, position. A releasable lock locks the first and second arms in the closed position, the releasable lock being operable by a single hand of a user.

Various collapsible sun shelters are disclosed. In some embodiments, the sun shelter includes a frame structure. The frame structure can have a substantially longitudinal ridge beam, a first multi-axis hinge device, and/or a second multi-axis hinge device. The frame structure can have a plurality of support elements, such as first and second leg members. In some implementations, the frame structure includes a third leg member and a fourth leg member. In various embodiments, a shelter device includes a plurality of flexible shelter members, such as sails. The sun shelter can be configured to move between a collapsed state (e.g., for transport) and an expanded state (e.g., for use as a shelter against sun, wind, precipitation, etc.).

Closure member control systems, including door control systems for barrier housings, and associated methods are disclosed. One aspect of the invention is directed toward a closure member control system that includes a closure member positioned to cover a portion of an opening in a structure (e.g., a barrier housing). The closure member has a closed position where the closure member covers the portion of the opening and an open position where the closure member does not cover the portion of the opening. The system further includes a control device operatively coupled to the closure member that urges the closure member to remain in the closed position when the closure member is in the closed position and urges the closure member to remain in the open position when the closure member is in the open position. In certain embodiments, the control device can include at least one forcing mechanism.
