A system and method disclosed provide a subscription management (SM) platform, associated with a mobile network operator (MNO), that may receive from a first user device, over a second network other than the MNO, a discovery message including the device identifier. The first user device may not include a SIM profile activated to provision the MNO. Methods and systems may send, by the SM platform to the first user device over the second network, a confirmation code request message and receive a confirmation code response message indicative of a request to send a stored confirmation code to a second user device. Methods and systems may receive, by the SM platform over the second network, a confirmation code entered by a user, and send the SIM profile associated with the device ID to activate for provisioning the MNO.

Systems and methods for remote SIM provisioning with confirmation code

A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a card assignment, allocation, and distribution service is provided. The service may include generating vendor-agnostic identifiers that create a unified inventory among cards of different vendors. The service may also include generating vendor-agnostic identifiers with criterion data based on the vendor-agnostic identifiers. The criterion data may be used to steer and distribute cards among distribution devices associated with different vendor platforms. The vendor-agnostic identifiers with criterion data may optimize or minimize the generation and storage of data used to manage allocation and distribution of cards. Also, the vendor-agnostic identifiers with criterion data may reduce and/or streamline the network processing in allocation and distribution procedures of the cards to end devices.

Method and system for card assignment, allocation, and distribution to end devices

A device identifies device model information for the device. The device provides, to a first server device, an activation request that includes the device model information to activate an embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) for the device. The device receives, from the first server device, an activation response that includes an eSIM profile identifier and location information that is to be used to identify eSIM profile configuration data (PCD). The device provides, to a second server device, a configuration request that includes an eSIM component identifier that identifies the eSIM of the device. The second server device is provided with the configuration request based on the location information. The device receives, from the second server device, a configuration response that includes the eSIM PCD. The device configures, by using the eSIM PCD, the eSIM with the eSIM profile.

Methods and/or systems for activation and/or configuration of an electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM)

In some implementations, a user equipment may provide an authentication request, including a detection code associated with a subscriber identification and an authentication identifier, to a subscription manager. The user equipment may receive, via a mobile network operator, an authentication response that includes an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) identifier (EID) based on providing the authentication request. The user equipment may generate, based on an activation code generated based on the authentication response, an activation request that includes the EID. The user equipment may provide the activation request to activate a wireless communication service that is provided by the mobile network operator.

Systems and methods for obtaining an electronic identification of a user equipment for activation of a subscription

A method including determining whether a subscriber identification profile (SIDP) is stored within a UE; sending an initial attach request along with a default network access key to a MME, upon determining that the SIDP is not stored; receiving a first authorization in response to the initial attach request, the first authorization restricts connectivity of the UE to an M2M activation system accessed by a dedicated APN associated with the default network access key; receiving, from a subscription management system, a SIDP generated by the M2M activation system; detaching from the M2M activation system and the network; sending a second attach request to the network based on the received SIDP; and receiving a second authorization to the network in response to the second attach request; the second authorization provides unrestricted APN connectivity and access to services associated with the subscriber identification profile.

Dedicated APN access using default network access key for profile download

A method is provided for self-provisioning and personalization of a companion device. A primary user device receives input to initiate a cellular service activation process for a companion device, wherein the companion device includes a preloaded version of a service provider application for facilitating remote provisioning. The primary device provides, to the companion device, an updated version of the service provider application that replaces the preloaded version. The primary device receives, from the companion device, an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) identifier for the companion device and forwards the eUICC identifier to a network device and an identifier for the primary device. When the network device verifies that the cellular service activation for the companion device can be provisioned, the primary device receives an activation code for the companion device to use to initiate a request for a new line of service for the eUICC identifier and forwards the activation code to the companion device.

System and method for EUICC personalization and network provisioning

A method is provided for self-provisioning and personalization of a companion device. A primary user device receives, via an activation application for cellular service activation of a companion device, user input to initiate a cellular service activation process for the companion device. The primary user device establishes a local network connection with the companion device and receives from the companion device an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) identifier. The primary user device forwards, to a network device in a service provider network, the eUICC identifier along with an identifier for the primary user device. The primary user device receives, from the network device, an activation code for the eUICC and forwards to the companion device the activation code. The activation code automatically causes the companion device to initiate a profile download request for an eUICC to be included with a new line of service under a subscriber account associated with the primary user device.

A third-party data balance transfer system enables a user of a wireless service network to transfer a data balance to another user of the wireless service network. For example, a third-party data balance transfer system may provide an interface to receive a request from a donor to transfer a data balance to a recipient. A third-party data balance transfer system may verify that the donor is eligible to transfer a data balance, and that the recipient is eligible to receive data. The third-party data balance transfer system may forward a message to the recipient when the eligibility of the donor and recipient are verified. The message may include instructions that direct the recipient to perform certain actions to activate the transfer a data balance. The third-party data balance transfer system may detect when the recipient performs the actions, and the third-party data balance transfer system may update account records for the wireless service network to enable the recipient to access the data balance transfer.
