A connector includes a housing formed with a L-shape in a side view having a connection portion capable of fitting to a mating connector, a terminal mounted on the housing by inserting a connection terminal portion into a terminal accommodation portion of the connection portion, an electric wire connected to the electric wire of the terminal and led out from the housing, a ferrite core mounted on the electric wire and assembled from the rear side of the housing, and a cover mounted on the rear surface of the housing and covering the terminal and the ferrite core. The cover includes a recessed portion, which receives an end portion of the ferrite core inclined by an external impact, on a facing surface facing the ferrite core assembled to the housing.

Connector

A connector includes a housing that has a L-shape in a side view and in which a connection portion capable fitting to the mating connector is projected, a terminal having a connection terminal portion and an electric wire connection portion and mounted to the housing by inserting the connection terminal portion into a terminal accommodation portion formed in the connection portion, an electric wire connected to the electric wire connection portion of the terminal and led out from the housing, a ferrite core mounted to the electric wire and accommodated in the housing. The housing includes a rib formed along an extending direction of the connection portion, and a hole portion formed at a root portion of the rib.

A connector connection structure includes a first connector and a second connector. A second component of the first connector includes a pair of locking arm portions protruding outwardly from an outer periphery of a main body portion of the second component at opposite end portions of the outer periphery. A first component of the first connector includes an abutting surface extending in an up-and-down direction on an inner periphery of a cylindrical portion of the first component and facing toward a rear side of the first connector in a fitting direction. The pair of locking arm portions and the abutting surface have a structure in which at least one part of a tip surface of the locking arm portions first receives a force from the abutting surface when the tip surface receives the force on the rear side in the fitting direction from the abutting surface.

Connector connection structure and connector

A connector includes: a housing which is connected to a counterpart connector; and a slider held in the housing to be movable in a fitting direction. The housing and the slider include: a guide mechanism configured to guide a movement of the slider to the housing in the fitting direction; and a stopper mechanism configured to prevent the slider from being detached from the housing to the front side of the connector in the fitting direction. The guide mechanism has: a pair of ribs provided in one of the housing and the slider, the ribs extending in the fitting direction; and a pair of grooves provided in the other of the housing and the slider, the grooves extending in the fitting direction. The stopper mechanism is provided at a location adjacent to an end part of the guide mechanism at the front side of the connector in the fitting direction.

An air bag device has an air bag body, a retainer, a lid member. The retainer has an inner space and a flange portion. The lid member has a base portion and a door portion. An opening portion has a shape with a pair of opposite sides which are facing each other. A dimension in the parallel direction to the opposite side is larger than a dimension in the orthogonal direction to the opposite side. The flange portion has longer side portions and shorter side portions. The longer side portions are fixed on the lid member with a fastening and fixing member in a fastened and fixed portion. The shorter side portions are positioned at the lid member in an engaging portion. The engaging portion has an engaging member, and an engaging hole into which the engaging member is inserted and engaged.

Air bag device

In order for a core metal member having three spoke parts to be usable in a three-spoke steering wheel and a two-spoke steering wheel having one fewer spoke part than the three-spoke steering wheel, one of the spoke parts of the core metal member is a separable spoke part, which is separable along separation marks provided on vertical spokes forming the separable spoke part. Each vertical spoke constituting the separable spoke part is provided with an indented first fragile portion and an indented second fragile portion which also act as the separation marks.

The contact end partis moved toward the reinforcement memberby a deployment force of the bag body, and the contact end partis thus supported by the reinforcement member

Vehicle body equipped with airbag system

Provided is an air bag device such that a tear line can be efficiently cleaved. An air bag device is provided with: an air bag folded in such a manner as to be expandable by gas from an inflator; a packing cloth wrapping the folded air bag; and a pair of front and rear lids that close an air bag housing portion and that are both-opened as the tear line at the center is cleaved upon deployment. The packing cloth includes an opening portion. The opening portion is positioned at substantially the center in the left-right direction of an automobile with respect to the pair of front and rear lids and is offset forwardly of the automobile.

A side curtain airbag includes a protector that holds a bag body and that guides deployment of the bag body and a bag bracket that is fastened to a bag attaching seat located between two grab rail attaching seats protruded from a roof side portion and that is used to attach the side curtain airbag to the roof side portion. Portions of the protector which are located between the two grab rail attaching seats and which are located at both sides of the bag attaching seat in the vehicle front-rear direction are provided with first cutout portions.
