An optical path is bent at a position between the first and second lens units and at a position between the second and third lens units in each of the two optical systems so that an inter-optical axis distance between two third lens units is narrower than an inter-optical axis distance between two first lens units. Part of one holding mechanism of two holding mechanisms that are configured to respectively hold the two third lens units is located in a concave portion provided on the other holding mechanism, and part of the other holding mechanism is located in a convex portion provided on the one holding mechanism.

A lens apparatus includes a first optical system, a second optical system disposed in parallel with the first optical system, and a lens mount attachable to a camera body. Each of the first optical system and the second optical system has a first optical axis, a second optical axis, and a third optical axis in order from an object side to an image side. A distance between the first optical axis of the first optical system and the first optical axis of the second optical system is longer than a diameter of the lens mount, and a distance between the third optical axis of the first optical system and the third optical axis of the second optical system is shorter than the diameter of the lens mount.

An image pickup apparatus includes a lens barrel unit including an imaging optical system, a first cylindrical member, a second cylindrical member movable relative to the first cylindrical member along a guide bar between a retracted position and a pop-up position, a diopter adjuster provided on the second cylindrical member, a first detector configured to detect that the second cylindrical member is located at the retracted position or the pop-up position, and a first display unit. The guide bar is formed inside a projection surface of the first display unit when viewed from an optical axis direction. The first detection unit is fixed onto the first cylindrical member, and the first detector is more distant from the lens barrel unit than a reference line that passes a center of the first cylindrical member when viewed from the optical axis direction.

Image pickup apparatus

An image pickup apparatus that can store a display device in an apparatus body and that prevents snap fit connection from releasing in a pulled-out state where the display device is pulled out while keeping ease of assembly in manufacturing. The image pickup apparatus includes a first barrel, a second barrel that is connected to the first barrel and achieves a stored state and the pulled-out state of the display device by relatively moving with respect to the first barrel, and a third barrel that is connected to the second barrel by snap fit connection. The first barrel has a fastening part at its end of connection with the second barrel so that the fastening part suppresses release of the snap fit connection in the pulled-out state and does not suppress the release of the snap fit connection in the stored state.

A lens barrel that prevents an oscillation phenomenon caused by vibrations occurring when a lens of an image blur correction mechanism shifts. A first cylinder is engaged in the cam cylinder and caused to move in a direction of an optical axis by rotation of a cam cylinder. At least one of the first surface on the movable member and the second surface on the base member inclines to the predetermined point so as to approach to the optical axis.

A barrier mechanism of an optical apparatus capable of preventing generation of a gap between barrier blades and an opening part in a closed state without complicating a configuration. Barrier blades are arranged overlapping in an optical axis direction, and are driven by a barrier driving ring to rotate in an opening-and-closing direction for opening and closing the opening part. A barrier barrel is arranged at the outer peripheral side of the barrier driving ring, and holds the barrier blades. The barrier blades includes a main barrier blade that is arranged at an image surface side and is rotatably supported by the barrier barrel with a first shaft, and auxiliary barrier blades that are rotatably supported by a second shaft that is provided on the subject side of the main barrier blade. The first shaft and the second shaft are arranged in parallel but are not coaxial.

An image pickup apparatus includes a zoom lens barrel that moves between a retracted position and a shooting position in an optical axis direction to thereby change a photographing magnification. A prism bends an optical beam incident from a lens group of the lens barrel. A diaphragm-shutter element is capable of moving along the direction of the second optical axis together with a stepping motor for actuating the diaphragm-shutter element. The stepping motor is disposed, at least when the lens group is in the retracted position, at a position where the stepping motor overlaps the prism in parallel with the second optical axis.

A shutter apparatus mounted in an image sensing apparatus, the shutter apparatus comprising: a blade member configured to open/close an opening through which light from an object passes, and control an aperture area of the opening; and a driving unit capable of first and second driving controls, the first driving control driving the blade member to serve as a stop, and the second driving control driving the blade member to serve as a shutter, wherein when the object is captured by an image sensor, the driving unit temporarily drives the blade member in an opening direction from a first position, to which the blade member is driven in a closing direction to serve as a stop, and then activates the blade member to a fully closing position.
