Provided is a power conversion device, including: a casing having a recessed portion; a magnetic component accommodated in the recessed portion of the casing; a heat radiation plate, which covers an opening of the recessed portion of the casing, and is thermally coupled to the magnetic component; and a fixing band wound around the magnetic component and the heat radiation plate to fix the magnetic component to the heat radiation plate, wherein at least a part of the fixing band is accommodated in a band accommodating groove formed in the recessed portion of the casing. With this configuration, assembly dimensional tolerance caused between the magnetic component and the heat radiation plate can be eliminated and it is therefore possible to maintain high output and achieve downsizing.

Power conversion device

A power converter includes a circuit board, a first magnetic core, and a housing. The circuit board includes an insulating substrate and a first coil conductor. The insulating substrate includes a first side surface. The first magnetic core includes a first magnetic core member and a second magnetic core member. A first side surface of the insulating substrate is opposed to a first portion of the housing and is spaced away from the first portion of the housing. The first magnetic core member and the second magnetic core member are both thermally connected to the first portion.

Power converter

Provided is an electric power converter, including: a casing; a heat radiating plate having a first main surface and a second main surface; and a substrate which is fixed to the main surface and to which a heat generating component is mounted, wherein the casing has an inner wall surface in which a first tapered portion is formed, wherein the heat radiating plate includes a second tapered portion which is connected to the first tapered portion in a heat exchangeable manner and slid with respect to the first tapered portion, wherein the heat radiating plate is configured to be displaced in a first direction with respect to the casing by the second tapered portion being slid with respect to the first tapered portion, and wherein the heat generating component is connected to the casing in a heat exchangeable manner by the heat radiating plate being displaced in the first direction.

Electric power converter

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device capable of shortening the time required for stabilizing the brightness and the chromaticity to the temperature change. The input of an LED driver is connected to the output of a PWM controller, so that the electric power supplied to the respective LED groups of red, green and blue are controlled with a PWM method. A feedback control means for controlling the PWM controller includes a brightness setting means, a color setting means, a multiplication means for receiving the outputs from the brightness setting means and the color setting means, a comparison means fed with the output of the multiplication means at one of the inputs thereof, a light sensor temperature compensation means for compensating for fluctuations of the output of the light detection means due to temperature changes, a liquid crystal display panel temperature compensation means for compensating for fluctuations of the spectral transmittance of the liquid crystal display panel due to temperature changes, an addition means for summing the result of detection by the light detection means and the output of the light sensor temperature compensation means, and a multiplication means for multiplying the output of the addition means by the output of the liquid crystal display panel temperature compensation means.

Liquid crystal display device which compensates for temperature characteristics in light detection and spectral transmittance

First and second sensors (37), (39) are provided in a developing tank (36) containing a liquid developer consisting of a liquid carrier or dispersant and toner particles dispersed in the carrier. The first sensor (37) measures the electrical resistivity of the developer whereas the second sensor (39) measures the optical transmissibility thereof. Additional toner is supplied into the developer to maintain the transmissivity at a value which is a predetermined function of the resistivity. The transmissibility value is reduced as the resistivity increases, thereby maintaining the copy image density constant. The first sensor (37) includes two electrodes immersed in the developer and an A.C. or D.C. voltage is applied thereacross. The current flow through the electrodes (37) and thereby the developer is measured to determine the resistivity of the developer. Where the applied voltage is D.C., an arrangement is provided to mechanically scrape accumulated developer off the electrodes (37) at intermittent intervals.

Electrostatic copying apparatus

A liquid developer for use in electrophotography which is prepared by dispersing a pigment or dye and a resin in a carrier liquid comprising a nonaqueous solvent having a high insulating property and a low dielectric constant, wherein said resin comprises those obtained by grafting, upon a copolymer comprising a monomer having the general formula ##STR1## [wherein R is --H or --CH.sub.3 and X is a phenyl group, a methylphenyl group, --COOC.sub.n H.sub.2n+1 (1.ltoreq.n.ltoreq.20) or --COOC.sub.2 H.sub.4 N(C.sub.m H.sub.2m+1).sub.2 (1.ltoreq.m.ltoreq.5)], a monomer having a glycidyl group and a unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride, in particular the unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride when the copolymer has the glycidyl group as the constitution unit, and the monomer having a glycidyl group when the copolymer has the unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride as the constitution unit.

Liquid developer for use in electrophotography

This invention provides a liquid developer for use in electrophotography which comprises a dispersion of toner particles in a carrier liquid having a high resistivity and a low dielectric constant and is superior in fixability, dispersion stability and redispersability, said toner particles consisting essentially of pigment or dye particles and a non-aqueous dispersion of thermoplastic resinous composition comprising a graft-copolymer and at least one substance selected from wax the groups consisting of polyethylene.

Liquid electrostatic developer having pigment or dyestuff dispersed in a non-aqueous dispersion containing a graftcopolymer and at least one substance selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, polyethylene wax and paraffin wax in a liquid carrier having a high resistivity and a low dielectric constant.
