A portable diffused lighting system is disclosed. The lighting system includes a collapsible containment and a light source. The containment includes a perimeter wall, a first end, and a light diffuser, with the first end including the light diffuser, with the containment being disposable in a collapsed configuration and at least one expanded configuration, and with a maximum expanded configuration for the containment providing a maximum spacing of no more than about 4 inches between the light source and the light diffuser. The light source projects within an interior of the collapsible containment, and diffused light is output from the containment through the light diffuser. The lighting system may include a connector for detachably mounting the lighting system to a computer display panel. The lighting system may also include a boom stand, and the noted connector may also detachably mount the containment to the boom stand.

Portable diffused lighting system

A supplemental flash system that may be included in a waterproof, protective case for a camera. The supplemental flash system is designed to illuminate the scene just prior to capturing the image with the camera. The supplemental flash system may be triggered by user actuation of a control on the case, by user actuation of a control on an external trigger, or through an app on a smart phone. Optionally, the case may include a mechanical interface on the bottom surface thereof for connection to a variety of types of mounts. Optionally, the flash system may provide for the ability to change the illumination spectrum. Optionally, the flash system may be controllable to place it into one of a plurality of different types of signaling modes.

Supplemental flash system

The disclosed apparatus may include at least one physical extension handle that connects to at least one ejector that facilitates securing a line card to a chassis of a telecommunications system and ejecting the line card from the chassis of the telecommunications system. The physical extension handle may, when connected to the ejector, extend the ejector such that a user is able to access the ejector by way of the physical extension handle to secure the line card to or eject the line card from the chassis of the telecommunications system using the physical extension handle. Additionally or alternatively, the physical extension handle may facilitate physically supporting one or more communication cables connected to the line card in a horizontal orientation such that the communication cables avoid hanging down vertically directly from the chassis. Various other apparatuses and systems are also disclosed.

A system for enhancing eye gaze in a telepresence system includes a plurality of local cameras coupled to at least one local display. Each local camera is directed to at least one respective local user section and operable to generate an image of the respective local user section. The system also includes a plurality of remote displays. Each remote display is operable to reproduce the local video image of the local user section. Within the system the plurality of remote displays and the plurality of local cameras are aligned such that when a first local user within a local user section looks at a target at least one remote display is operable to reproduce the local video image of the first user section comprising the first local user such that the eye gaze of the reproduced image of the first local user is directed approximately at a corresponding target.

System and method for enhancing eye gaze in a telepresence system

A security camera assembly has a bracket, a housing, and a camera. The bracket includes a top plate having a front end and a back end, a front leg extending from the front end of the top plate in a first direction generally perpendicular to the top plate, and a back leg extending from the back end of the top plate generally in the first direction. A housing is connected to the front leg of the bracket, the housing and the front leg of the bracket defining therebetween a camera receiving space. A camera is disposed in the camera receiving space. A method for mounting the security camera assembly is also disclosed.
