This disclosure details exemplary battery pack designs for use in electrified vehicles. An exemplary battery pack may include an enclosure assembly, one or more battery arrays housed within the enclosure assembly, and one or more channel brackets for routing and retaining battery internal components (e.g., wiring harnesses, etc.) within internal channels of the battery pack. The channel brackets may include a mounting platform having a loop that is connected to the mounting platform by a tether. A clip fastener may be received through both the loop and the mounting platform for mounting the channel brackets in place. The loop of the channel bracket is configured to increase the integrity of the clip fastener joint.

This disclosure details exemplary battery pack designs for use in electrified vehicles. Exemplary battery packs may include an enclosure assembly that houses one or more battery arrays. The battery arrays may be efficiently arranged relative to one another inside the enclosure assembly to establish an open channel within the enclosure assembly. Coolant lines and/or wiring lines may be positioned within and/or routed through the open channel in order to maximize battery internal component volume without increasing the overall footprint of the enclosure assembly.

Systematic layouts for electrified vehicle traction battery packs

This disclosure details exemplary battery pack designs for use in electrified vehicles. An exemplary battery pack may include an enclosure assembly, one or more battery arrays housed within the enclosure assembly, a first battery internal component (e.g., an array holding device, heat exchanger plate, tray, etc.) adjacent to the battery array, a mounting bracket mounted to the first battery internal component, and a second battery internal component (e.g., a wiring harness of an electrical distribution system) elevated above the first battery internal component by the mounting bracket.

Mounting brackets for retaining battery pack internal components

This disclosure details exemplary battery pack designs for use in electrified vehicles. An exemplary battery pack may include one or more busbar retainer clips adapted for securing busbars within the battery pack. The retainer clips may secure the busbars in a manner that prevents material contact between the busbars and surrounding enclosure surfaces and substantially reduces any noise, vibration, and harshness issues.
