System and method for providing diagnostic, imaging procedures and surgical laser treatments generating patterns of laser light on target tissue of a patient. The system includes aiming and treatment light beams originating from the same visible laser emitting diode, a scanner for generating patterns of points of light of the generated light, a controller, and a user interface that allows the user to select one of several possible point of light patterns, adjusts the point of light intensity and/or duration.

A method and system for thermal and non-thermal laser treatments includes a visible laser source. A laser beam in the visible spectrum is generated by the visible laser source and produces a modulated laser output. Laser controls allows the user to generate the pulsed output with variable pulse characteristics to provide selective, localized and user controlled thermal and or non-thermal biological effects at a targeted tissues. This laser system modulates the delivered laser energy to produce accurate and selective targeting of the pigmented cells of the treated tissues to induce therapeutic effects via gentle warming of the cells without significant collateral damage to surrounding tissues.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods for a compact surgical device include a laser unit and one or more laser outlet assemblies. The laser unit has a power regulator, one or more diode laser assemblies, each having a single diode laser source, and a laser trigger mechanism. The laser unit can emit an aiming light beam and a treatment laser beam either both from the same single diode laser or from two separate single diode lasers. The beam can pass through the one or more laser outlet assemblies. The aiming light beam can have a first energy level. The treatment laser beam can have a second energy level that is substantially greater than the first energy level of the aiming light beam.
