The present disclosure relates to sensor systems for electronic ophthalmic devices. In certain embodiments, the sensor systems may comprise a selection layer configured to reject light from the eye within a first range of incident angles and allow light from the eye within a second range of incident angles to pass through the selection layer. The sensor system may comprise a plurality of photodiodes disposed below the selection layer and configured to detect the light from the eye within the second range of incident angles that is allowed to pass through the selection layer. The sensor system may comprise an output circuit electrically coupled to the plurality of photodiodes and configured to output a signal indicative of which photodiode of the plurality of photodiodes detected the light.

A system for generating a water-fat separated image is provided. The system includes a memory device that stores training results of a neural network, and an MRI controller in electronic communication with the memory device and a magnet assembly. The controller is operative to: acquire MR data from an object via the magnet assembly; generate at least two magnitude images from the acquired MR data; and generate the water-fat separated image by applying the training results to the at least two magnitude images.

A system and method for estimating repeatable runout in a servo control system, such as a disc drive servo loop, is provided. The system includes a Kalman filter that is configured to receive position error signals from the servo control system and to estimate the repeatable runout in the position error signals.

A dither signal (a single frequency sine wave or a multi-frequency signal) is injected into the servo loop. A servo loop gain error signal is obtained in response to the injected dither signal. A method and system for implementing antenna verification in a closed loop transmit diversity system. The method includes the step of processing a received signal using a finger processors to generate a plurality of finger outputs. The mobile station is communicatively coupled to a base station. The method also includes the step of combining each of the finger outputs using a combiner to produce a plurality of intermediate results. The intermediate results are obtained prior to a final summation performed by the combiner. An antenna verification process is performed using the intermediate results, the intermediate results in the pre-slot FSM (feedback signaling message) calculation from an FSM encoder, and the pre-slot FSM from the FSM encoder to efficiently estimate the error of the FSM signal and obtain the correct channel estimation by keeping the weight factors generated in a mobile station and used in a base station consistent with each other, thereby reducing the effects of FSM error between the base station and the mobile station.

A system and method for correcting repeatable runout errors during manufacture of a disc drive. The system includes a Kalman filter having a recursive learning gain input and includes a recursive learning Again-setting circuit coupled to the recursive learning gain input. The recursive learning gain is initially set based on an estimate of a ratio of non-repeatable run out error to an estimate of the repeatable run out error. On subsequent recursions, the recursive learning gain-setting is reduced.

An amplifier for use in a MOS sensing array is disclosed. The amplifier includes an operational amplifier and a feedback capacitor. During an equalization period, the voltage between the output of the operational amplifier and the inverting input is equalized. During an amplification period, an input signal is applied and amplified by the combination of the operational amplifier and the feedback capacitor. Additionally, during the amplification period, the compensation capacitor of the operational amplifier is disabled.

An improved method of preamplification of signals from a MOS imaging array. Each column of the imaging array includes a charge amplifier. Charge amplifiers for alternating columns are grouped together as an odd group. The remaining charge amplifiers are grouped together as an even group. The signals from the even group and the signals from the odd group are provided to a switch. The switch has two outputs: line A and line B. Lines A and B are routed to two identical second-stage amplifiers. In a first mode, the switch routes the even group to line A and the odd group to line B. In a second mode, the switch routes the even group to line B and the odd group to line A. The switch alternates between the first mode and the second mode during the vertical blanking period of an NTSC scanning scheme.
