Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of Channel Occupancy Time (COT) for Sidelink (SL) communication in Unlicensed band (U-band). The method includes receiving, at a first device and from a second device, configuration information associated with a COT at least for a SL transmission of the first device on an unlicensed resource pool allocated for the first device, the configuration information at least indicating whether a listen before talk procedure is required to be performed at the first device within the COT before the SL transmission; and performing the SL transmission within the COT based on the configuration information. In this way, the COT sharing mechanism can be used for SL communications in U-band and therefore a sensing procedure for resource selection may not be impacted by the LBT procedure.

Disclosed are embodiments of methods and apparatuses for positioning user equipment (UE). A method for positioning UE may comprise calculating expected receiving time differences between respective expected times for the UE to receive positioning reference signals (PRSs) from a plurality of neighbor base stations respectively and an expected time for the UE to receive a PRS from a reference base station, determining a PRS timing offset to at least partially compensate for the expected receiving time difference of at least one of the plurality of neighbor base stations, and sending the PRS timing offset to the at least one of the plurality of neighbor base stations.

Method and apparatus for positioning reference signal transmission and reception

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for implicit indication of positioning related information. A first device selects a reference signal (RS) sequence from a plurality of available RS sequences. Based on the selected RS sequence, the first device generates a RS for positioning and then transmits the generated RS to a second device to indicate, with the selection of the reference signal sequence, at least part of side information related to the positioning.

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a solution for performing an operation related to a listen-before-talk (LBT) process for a transmission. In an aspect, an apparatus determines a duration of a gap between an end point of a first transmission to be transmitted by a further apparatus and a start point of a cyclic prefix extension prior to a second transmission to be transmitted by the apparatus. The apparatus performs an operation related to an LBT process for the second transmission based on comparisons between the duration of the gap and a plurality of threshold durations associated with a plurality of types of LBT processes. Example embodiments of the present disclosure can increase or even maximize the likelihood of the success of LBT processes.

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of the adjustment of the Timing Advance (TA). The method comprises determining a channel occupancy time structure for accessing a radio channel between the first device and a second device, the channel occupancy time structure indicating a set of time-domain resources for accessing the radio channel; and setting a timing advance for a transmission from the first device to the second device based on the channel occupancy time structure. In this way, a dynamic adjustment of TA is allowed at the UE, which ensures that a desire duration of the gaps of the channel occupancy at different transmission scenarios.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of HARQ for NR sidelink communication in unlicensed spectrum. The method comprises receiving, from a second device, an indication of at least two candidate sets of code domain resources for the first device to transmit a feedback message for a sidelink transmission between the first device and a third device; and transmitting, to the third device, the feedback message on a target set of code domain resources determined from the at least two candidate sets of code domain resources based on a listen before talk procedure. In this way, additional code domain resources may provide more available time occasions as backup resources for HARQ feedback of sidelink transmission in unlicensed band, which may increase reliability of HARQ feedback transmission for sidelink communication in unlicensed spectrum. Hence it can eventually increase spectral efficiency by avoiding unnecessary retransmission of PSCCH/PSSCH, and can also reduce transmission latency in the meantime.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to beam selection during downlink positioning. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal devices are grouped based on their characteristics and the anchor terminal device in the group determines the best transmitting beam of the neighbor network device. The non-anchor terminal device uses the assistance information of the best transmitting beam determined by the anchor terminal device. In this way, cost for the terminal device to receive and measure the PRS during downlink positioning has been reduced.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of channel access procedure based on the channel access priority class (CAPC). The method comprises receiving scheduling information from a second device, the scheduling information at least indicating resources allocated for a transmission from the first device to the second device, a channel access type for the transmission and an expected access priority for the transmission. The method further comprises comparing the expected access priority with an access priority of data in a buffer of the first device and determining use of the resources based on the comparison. In this way, the Channel Occupancy Time (COT) sharing can be used only for the data with higher or equal priority to avoid unintended usage of the grant on unlicensed band and coexistence fairness among nodes with different types of traffic to be transmitted may be achieved.
