An imaging device in the present invention includes an imaging unit that images an image and an installation unit on which the imaging unit is removably installed. The installation unit houses a first contactless transmitter that transmits and receives at least one of a power and a signal in a non-contact basis. The imaging unit houses an axis portion, a second contactless transmitter, and transmits and receives at least one of the electric power and the signal in a non-contact basis, and an imaging mechanism portion that is fixed to the other end portion of the axis portion in the side opposite to the installation unit side, and is connected to the second contactless transmitter via a transmission wire inserted through the axis portion. In this way, a watertproofness and a dustproofness can be improved, and thus, it is possible to improve a long-term reliability.

Imaging device in which the electric power and image signal transmission can be performed in a non-contact basis

A camera apparatus includes a camera unit that is provided with a camera lens, a camera body that rotatably holds the camera unit, and a rotating mechanism that rotates the camera unit in response to an emergency signal so as to be switched from a first state where the camera lens is stored inside the camera body to a second state where the camera lens is exposed to an outside of the camera body.

Camera apparatus

A dome camera includes an inner cover covering a camera lens and a semi-spherical outer cover covering the inner cover, the camera lens being rotatable in a tilt direction and in a pan direction. The inner cover includes a partially spherical portion having an inclined support plane on which the outer cover is supported such that a radial line perpendicular to the inclined support plane is inclined at a predetermined inclination angle with respect to a line passing through a center of the partially spherical portion and extends perpendicular to the installation face. A semi-spherical portion has a window, the semi-spherical portion is covered by the outer cover supported on the inclined support plane, and the outer cover rotatable in the pan direction, so as to orient the window in accordance with the orientation of the camera lens.

Dome camera

The dome camera is a fixed-type dome camera having a camera lens, a direction of which is manually set. An inner cover is supported to a parallel support portion of a base. A dome cover is supported on an inclined step portion of the inner cover with the dome cover inclined by an inclination angle &#x3b8;. A pan direction of the camera lens has a predefined target direction to be set, and the inner cover is rotatable in the pan direction relative to the base, so as to be directed toward the target direction. An optical axis X of the camera lens passes through a spherical center of the dome cover, and an inclination limit angle of the dome cover is &#x3b8;

A dome-shaped camera () includes a body () including a camera unit (), and a dome cover () that covers the camera unit (). The body () includes a tilt table () that supports the camera unit () in such a manner that the camera unit () is rotatable in a tilt direction, a pan table () that supports the tilt table () supporting the camera unit () in such a manner that the tilt table () is rotatable in a pan direction, and an elastic member () that biases the tilt table () in a direction opposite to the pan table (). The dome cover () includes an inner cover () that covers the camera unit (), and an outer cover () that covers the inner cover (). The tilt table () is movable in the direction toward the pan table () against an elastic force of the elastic member (), and the inner cover () is mounted on the tilt table (). Consequently, a dome-shaped camera with enhanced impact resistance is provided.

Dome-shaped camera

A camera device includes an image sensor which is assembled into a case, a first perspective-control component including a convex partial spherical surface for performing perspective control, and a second perspective-control component including a concave partial spherical surface having a radius of curvature and a center of curvature which are equal to those of the convex partial spherical surface. Before completion of the assembly of the image sensor into the case, the second perspective-control component is mounted on the first perspective-control component attached to a back side of the image sensor, and perspective control is performed with the convex partial spherical surface and the concave partial spherical surface in surface contact with each other. The first perspective-control component and the second perspective-control component are secured to each other via an adhesive after completion of the perspective control.

Camera device and manufacturing method for a camera device

A drive mechanism () of a camera apparatus includes a worm gear () to which a rotational driving force of a drive motor () is transmitted, a worm wheel () around which a helical gear () is formed to engage with the worm gear (), and a support frame () which supports the worm wheel () rotatably and movably along a rotation axis. A rotational driving force of the worm gear () is transmitted to the worm wheel () with reduced gear ratio. An externally threaded portion () of a shaft portion () of the worm wheel () is engaged with an internally threaded portion in a supporting hole () of the support frame (), so that the shaft portion () moves along the rotation axis when the worm wheel () rotates. Consequently, the rotational driving force transmitted to the worm wheel () is converted into a linear thrust force along the rotation axis. This makes it possible to provide a camera apparatus which can develop a larger thrust force and adjust an amount of travel more finely.

Camera device and drive mechanism

An image pickup device driving apparatus including an image pickup device holding portion for holding an image pickup device with an image pickup surface directed to a predetermined direction and capable of moving in an optical axis direction; a movable portion provided facing the image pickup device holding portion and capable of moving with respect to the image pickup device holding portion; three inclined portions provided on a surface of any one of the movable portion and the image pickup device holding portion, which faces the other; three spheres provided on a surface of the other of the movable portion and the image pickup device holding portion, which faces the three inclined portions, in a way in which they are respectively brought into contact with the three inclined portions; and a driving portion for moving the movable portion so as to change positions in which the three inclined portions and the three spheres are brought into contact with each other and to move the image pickup device held in the image pickup device holding portion in the optical axis direction with the surface direction of the image pickup surface maintained.

Imaging device driver and photography instrument employing it

There is provided a monitoring camera apparatus which, while ensuring waterproofness, can perform focus adjustment when a dome cover is mounted. A lens () is covered by the dome cover () which is removable. A focus adjustment mechanism () moves an imaging device () in an optical axis direction and thereby performs focus adjustment. A setting button () being a focus setting operation unit is arranged in the inner side of the dome cover (), and operated when the dome cover () is mounted. A controller () controls the focus adjustment mechanism (). The controller () allows the focus adjustment mechanism () to start focus adjustment when a predetermined focus start wait time has elapsed after operation of the setting button (). The focus start wait time is set according to a standard mounting operation time required to mount the dome cover ().

Monitoring camera device

A camera () has a tubular housing () having an emission window (). A unitized optical fiber bundle () is provided on the inner surface of the housing () by utilizing a bundle of light guiding optical fibers on the inner surface. The unitized optical fiber bundle () is placed on and bonded to the inner surface of the housing () with the fibers bonded together by a bonding agent. An end section of the unitized optical fiber bundle () reaches the emission window () of the housing () to be exposed. The camera () has sufficient waterproof capability and is easy to produce, and capable of avoiding a decrease in the amount of light.
