A stretchable cable is provided that allows an extra length to be reduced when routed in a movable part. The stretchable cable includes an elastically deformable hollow insulation having a hollow portion that is continuous along a cable longitudinal direction, and at least one electricity- or light-conducting wire-shaped body provided in a spiral shape along the cable longitudinal direction and fixed to the hollow insulation to stretch and contract together with the hollow insulation. The cable is elongated not less than 1.2 times when a tensile force is applied, and the cable returns to an original length when the tensile force is removed.

Stretchable cable

A laminate structure includes a first layer as a substrate and a second layer provided on the first layer. The second layer is composed of a rubber composition including a rubber component, first fine particles for providing a surface with irregularity, and second fine particles for shielding UV-C light. When performing Raman mapping analysis on a first peak derived from oscillation of the second fine particles in Raman scattering spectrum obtained by Raman scattering measurement of the second layer, the second layer includes a region where an intensity of the first peak is greater in an area where the first fine particles are not present than an area where the first fine particles are present.

Laminate structure, cable and tube

A first synthesized characteristic value calculated based on a first blending ratio of constituent materials contained in a first composite material and on a first characteristic value corresponding to the constituent materials contained in the first composite material, as well as first blending information of the constituent materials contained in the first composite material are used as input parameters (explanatory variables) for an approximate function to estimate a value of physical quantity (objective variable) for the first composite material.

An insulated electric wire is composed of a conductor, and a covering layer disposed around an outer circumference of the conductor. The covering layer has a plurality of flame retardant layers composed of a flame retardant resin composition, and an insulating layer interposed between the plurality of flame retardant layers. The insulating layer is made of a resin composition including a resin component, and the resin component includes 40% by mass or more of a resin having a melting point of 125 degrees C. or higher of 100% by mass of the resin component.

Insulated electric wire

An insulated wire includes a conductor, and a flame-retardant insulation layer that includes a resin composition including a flame retardant and is arranged around the conductor, and a water-blocking layer that is arranged around the flame-retardant insulation layer and has a water absorption of not more than 0.5% at saturation. The thickness of the water-blocking layer is not less than 25 &#x3bc;m.

Insulated wire

An insulated wire having an electrical wire structure capable of reducing an outer diameter while an insulation property and a flame-retardant property are highly kept is provided. In the insulated wire including: a conductor; and a coating layer arranged on an outer periphery of the conductor, the coating layer includes: a semiconductive layer having a volume resistivity defined by JIS C2151 that is equal to or smaller than 1.0&#xd7;10(&#x3a9;cm); an insulating layer arranged on an outer periphery of the semiconductive layer, the insulating layer having a volume resistivity defined by JIS C2151 that is larger than 5.0&#xd7;10(&#x3a9;cm); and a flame-retardant semiconductive layer arranged on an outer periphery of the insulating layer, the flame-retardant semiconductive layer having a volume resistivity defined by JIS C2151 that is equal to or smaller than 1.5&#xd7;10(&#x3a9;cm) and having an oxygen index defined by JIS K7201-2 that is larger than 40.

An insulated wire having an electrical wire structure capable of reducing a diameter while a direct-current stability property and a flame-retardant property are highly kept is provided. In the insulated wire including: a conductor; a flame-retardant semiconductive layer arranged on an outer periphery of the conductor; an insulating layer arranged on an outer periphery of the flame-retardant semiconductive layer; and a flame-retardant layer arranged on an outer periphery of the insulating layer, an oxygen index of the flame-retardant semiconductive layer defined by JIS K7201-2 is larger than 40, and a volume resistivity of the flame-retardant semiconductive layer defined by JIS C2151 is equal to or smaller than 5.0&#xd7;10(&#x3a9;cm).

An insulated wire having an electrical wire structure capable of reducing an outer diameter while an insulating property and a flame-retardant property are highly kept is provided. In the insulated wire including: a conductor; and a coating layer arranged on an outer periphery of the conductor, the insulated wire has a flame-retardant property that allows the insulated wire to pass a vertical tray flame test (VTFT) on the basis of EN 50266-2-4, has a direct-current stability that allows the insulated wire to pass a direct-current stability test in conformity to EN 50305.6.7, has a diameter of the conductor that is equal to or smaller than 1.25 mm, and has a thickness of the coating layer that is smaller than 0.6 mm.

An insulated wire, having an electrical wire structure capable of reducing an outer diameter while maintaining an insulating property and a flame-retardant property, includes a conductor and a coating layer arranged on an outer periphery of the conductor. The coating layer includes a plurality of flame-retardant layers, each made of a flame-retardant resin composition, and an insulating layer interposed between the plurality of flame-retardant layers. A ratio of a thickness of the insulating layer to a thickness of the coating layer is equal to or larger than 10% and equal to or smaller than 35%.

A LAN cable includes an insulated electrical wire having an insulating layer on an outer periphery of a conductor, a sheath that coats an outer periphery of the insulated electrical wire, and an intermediate layer arranged between the sheath and the insulated electrical wire, the intermediate layer having a mass reduction rate at 800&#xb0; C. of less than or equal to 80% by mass. The sheath includes a cross-linked matter or a non-halogen flame retardant resin composition in which a mass reduction rate at 800&#xb0; C. is less than or equal to 60% by mass.

LAN cable

A multilayer insulated wire includes a conductor, an inner insulation layer, and an outer insulation layer. A gel fraction of the inner insulation layer defined below is not less than 80%. A gel fraction of the outer insulation layer defined below is less than the gel fraction of the inner insulation layer and not less than 75%. An insulation covering layer including the inner and outer insulation layers is cross-linked and has a tensile modulus of not less than 500 MPa in a tensile test conducted at a tensile rate of 200 mm/min. Multilayer insulated wire and multilayer insulated cable

An insulated wire includes a conductor, a flame-retardant inner layer that is provided around the conductor and includes a metal hydroxide, and a water ingress prevention layer provided around the flame-retardant inner layer. The insulated wire may further include a flame-retardant outer layer provided around the water ingress prevention layer.

Insulated wire and cable

A LAN cable includes a sheath; an electrical wire accommodated in the sheath and including a conductor and an insulating body covering the conductor; and an intermediate layer having a mass reduction rate at 500.degree. C. of less than or equal to 10% by mass and a mass reduction rate at 600.degree. C. of less than or equal to 50% by mass, and located between the sheath and the electrical wire. The insulating body includes polyethylene having a dielectric constant of smaller than or equal to 2.5. The sheath includes a polyolefin-based polymer and a flame retardant, and a content of the flame retardant in the sheath is greater than or equal to 150 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin-based polymer.

In a multi-layer insulated wire including: a conductor; an inner layer formed in periphery of the conductor; and an outer layer formed in periphery of the inner layer, the inner layer is made of a resin composition containing a base polymer containing polyolefin as a main component, and the outer layer is made of a resin composition containing a base polymer containing polyolefin as a main component so as to contain 80 or more and 250 or less parts by mass of metallic hydroxide per 100 parts by mass of the base polymer. The multi-layer insulated wire having an expansion start temperature of the outer layer that is equal to or lower than 344&#xb0; C. is used.

Multi-layer insulated wire and method of manufacturing the same

An electric wire includes a conductor having a cross-sectional area of not less than 225 mmand not more than 275 mm, an insulation provided so as to cover the outer periphery of the conductor, and a wire sheath provided so as to cover the outer periphery of the insulation. The amount of deflection is not less than 130 mm when, at 23&#xb0; C., one end of the electric wire is fixed to a fixture table so that another end horizontally protrudes 400 mm from the fixture table and a weight of 2 kg is attached to the other end, and cracks and breaks do not occur when wound with a bending diameter of three times the diameter at &#x2212;40&#xb0; C.
