An engine is provided which includes an oil gallery, a base attaching seat in an engine frame wall, and a base for component mounting attached to the base attaching seat. An oil cooler and an oil filter are mounted on the base for component mounting, and the base attaching seat is provided with an oil inlet communicating with an upstream-side passage of the oil gallery, and an oil outlet communicating with a downstream-side passage of the oil gallery. Attaching the base for component mounting to the base attaching seat allows engine oil flowing into the oil inlet of the base attaching seat from the upstream-side passage of the oil gallery to pass the base for component mounting, the oil cooler, and the oil filter, and flow out of the oil outlet of the base attaching seat to the downstream-side passage of the oil gallery.

Engine

There is provided an engine exhaust treatment device in which stick of a nozzle portion of a urea water injector can be suppressed. The engine exhaust treatment device includes: an SCR catalyst case housing an SCR catalyst; an SCR exhaust inlet pipe; and the urea water injector and the nozzle portion of the urea water injector is directed toward an inside of the SCR exhaust inlet pipe. An exhaust deflector is provided in the SCR exhaust inlet pipe and the exhaust deflector is mounted to an inner peripheral face of the SCR exhaust inlet pipe on an exhaust upstream side of the urea water injector so that exhaust flowing toward the nozzle portion of the urea water injector is deflected by the exhaust deflector and diverted from the nozzle portion.

Engine exhaust treatment device

It is an object of the present invention to provide a diesel engine in which an engine body, a DPF case and an SCR catalyst case can be placed compactly. In the diesel engine including the engine body, the DPF case and the SCR catalyst case, a DPF is accommodated in the DPF case and an SCR catalyst is accommodated in the SCR catalyst case, the DPF case and the SCR catalyst case are mounted on the engine body, the DPF case is supported by the engine body through an exhaust gas introducing pipe, and the SCR catalyst case is supported by the DPF case through an exhaust gas relay pipe.

Diesel engine

It is an object of the present invention to provide a diesel engine in which a DPF case and an SCR catalyst case can be placed compactly. The diesel engine includes an engine body, the DPF case and the SCR catalyst case, a DPF is accommodated in the DPF case, an SCR catalyst is accommodated in the SCR catalyst case, and the DPF case and the SCR catalyst case are mounted on the engine body. The SCR catalyst case is placed in a direction which extends along the DPF case. The DPF case is placed directly above a flywheel housing and right behind a cylinder head cover, and the SCR catalyst case is placed directly above the cylinder head cover.
