A lighting device includes a first light-emitting device, a plurality of second light-emitting devices, and a control unit. The first light-emitting device has a first emission spectrum that has a first peak wavelength in a wavelength range from 360 nm to 430 nm and in which a light intensity continuously decreases with decreasing wavelength from the first peak wavelength and with increasing wavelength from the first peak wavelength. Each of the plurality of second light-emitting devices has a second emission spectrum with a second peak wavelength in the range from 360 nm to 430 nm, that has a third peak wavelength in a range from the second peak wavelength to 750 nm, and in which a light intensity continuously decreases with decreasing wavelength from the second peak wavelength and with increasing wavelength from the third peak wavelength. The control unit controls all of the light-emitting devices.

Lighting device

A light-emitting device in an aspect of the present invention includes at least one light emitter, a first phosphor, and a second phosphor. The first phosphor emits, in response to light emitted from the at least one light emitter, light having a first peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 400 to 480 nm. The second phosphor emits, in response to light emitted from the at least one light emitter, light having a second peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 480 to 600 nm. The at least one light emitter has a third peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 280 to 315 nm and emits light in the wavelength region of 280 to 315 nm.

Light-emitting device and illumination apparatus

A light-emitting device includes a light emitter including a light-emitting portion that emits first emission light having a first peak wavelength in a range of 380 to 425 nm and a half width of 15 to 35 nm, and a coating located over the light-emitting portion of the light emitter and containing phosphors to emit second emission light having a second peak wavelength in a range of 430 to 475 nm and having a third peak wavelength in a range of 490 to 540 nm. The light emitter emits light in an ultraviolet region of 380 to 430 nm. The light-emitting device has an emission spectrum in a region of 380 to 950 nm including peaks in regions of 380 to 430 nm, 430 to 480 nm, 480 to 550 nm, 550 to 650 nm, and 650 to 750 nm, and differences between relative light intensities at the peaks are less than 20%.

An indoor light source emits light having an emission spectrum including a first peak in a wavelength region of 440 to 460 nm, a second peak in a wavelength region of 540 to 560 nm, and a third peak in a wavelength region of 610 to 630 nm. When the highest one of intensities at the first peak, the second peak, and the third peak is 1 in terms of relative intensity, the emission spectrum includes a lowest light intensity of 0.7 or higher in terms of relative intensity in &#x3bb;1 to &#x3bb;2 in nm, and a lowest light intensity of 0.8 or higher in terms of relative intensity in &#x3bb;2 to &#x3bb;3 in nm, where &#x3bb;1 is a peak wavelength at the first peak in nm, &#x3bb;2 is a peak wavelength at the second peak in nm, and &#x3bb;3 is a peak wavelength at the third peak in nm.
