An exemplary methodology for managing soap, sanitizer and lotion refills includes associating a first refill unit with a first dispenser, determining one or more usage rates for the first dispenser, determining an expected depletion date for the first refill unit. The methodology further includes associating a second refill unit with a second dispenser, determining one or more usage rates for the second dispenser, and determining an expected depletion date for the second refill unit. The methodology further includes providing instructions to move the first refill unit to the second dispenser and the second refill unit to the first dispenser.

An exemplary methodology of improving hand-hygiene includes obtaining data indicative of the number of opportunities for one or more users to obtain a dose of hand cleaner for a plurality of dispensers through an electronic monitoring system. In addition, the exemplary methodology includes obtaining data indicative of dispense events by the plurality of dispensers through the electronic monitoring system. The methodology further includes determining a metric for the one or more users as a function of the data indicative of the number of opportunities and the data indicative of dispense events and providing instructions for an observer to obtain observation data related to the one or more users as a function of the metric.

Methods and systems for improving hand hygiene

A user interactive device includes a housing, a user interactive mechanism carried by the housing, a wireless transmitter storing application identifying data identifying an application associated with the user interactive device, and a controller in circuit communication with the wireless transmitter, wherein the controller is configured to communicate device condition data to the wireless transmitter. The wireless transmitter is configured to wirelessly transmit a broadcast data packet including the application identifying data and the device condition data.
