Techniques for navigating semi-autonomous mobile robots are described. A semi-autonomous mobile robot moves within an environment to complete a task. A navigation server communicates with the robot and provides the robot information. The robot includes a navigation map of the environment, interaction information, and a security level. To complete the task, the robot transmits a route reservation request to the navigation server, the route reservation request including a priority for the task, a timeslot, and a route. The navigation server grants the route reservation if the task priority is higher than the task priorities of conflicting route reservation requests from other robots. As the robot moves within the environment, the robot detects an object and attempts to classify the detected object as belonging to an object category. The robot retrieves an interaction profile for the object, and interacts with the object according to the retrieved interaction profile.

Navigating semi-autonomous mobile robots

Technologies for managing a treatment program include a treatment management server, smart pills, and patient computing devices. The treatment management server is configured to generate treatment data usable by the smart pills to control a release of one or more drugs in patients. The treatment management server is also configured to transmit the treatment data to the smart pills, obtain physiological data associated with the patients, identify a preferred physiological response among the patients based on the physiological data, and identify the treatment data associated with the preferred physiological response. The smart pills are configured to obtain the treatment data, release one or more drugs into the patients based on the treatment data, sense physiological conditions in the patients, and transmit the physiological conditions to the treatment management server. The patient computing devices facilitate communication between the treatment management server and the smart pills. Other embodiments are described.

Technologies for managing a treatment program using smart pills

Various systems and methods for personal sensory drones are described herein. A personal sensory drone system includes a drone remote control system comprising: a task module to transmit a task to a drone swarm for the drone swarm to execute, the drone swarm including at least two drones; a transceiver to receive information from the drone swarm related to the task; and a user interface module to present a user interface based on the information received from the drone swarm.

Examples of the technology include using an ingestible pill device to deliver an active agent, where release of the active agent can be based on patient authentication, analyzing sensor data to determine a condition for releasing the active agent, analyzing image data to identify a release point, etc. Examples of the technology also include using a monitoring device to secure a medication package using a cover and locking device, monitoring the medication package to detect access to the medication package, and tracking access to the medication package to determine medication adherence.

Methods and systems for securing, delivering, and monitoring use of an active agent

A client platform supports digital rights management. The client platform comprises a digital rights management (DRM) engine which, when executed, enables the client platform to monitor download operations performed by the client platform and to obtain a shadow image for a digital content item from a DRM blockchain, in response to an operation to download the digital content item from a remote source. The shadow image comprises a hash of the digital content item and copyright policy settings to indicate security constraints for the digital content item. The client platform may automatically determine whether the copyright policy settings for the digital content item allow modification of the digital content item. A user may be allowed to create a modified version of the digital content item only if the copyright policy settings allow modification of the digital content item. Technologies for immersive sensory experience sharing include one or more experience computing devices, an experience server, and a distance computing device. Each experience computing device captures sensor data indicative of a local sensory experience from one or more sensors and transmits the sensor data to the experience server. Sensors may include audiovisual sensors, touch sensors, and chemical sensors. The experience server analyzes the sensor data to generate combined sensory experience data and transmits the combined sensory experience data to the distance computing device. The experience server may identify one or more activities associated with the local sensory experience. The distance computing device renders a sensory experience based on the combined sensory experience data. The distance computing device may monitor a user response, generate user preferences based on the user response, and transmit the user preferences to the experience server. Technologies for immersive user sensory experience sharing

Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for classifying a physical proximity event with respect to a wearable device based on one or more of a haptic input or a scent input. Additionally, the classified physical proximity event may be correlated with an augmented reality (AR) effect, wherein the AR effect may be initiated via the wearable device. In one example, the AR effect cancels a negative perceptual impact of the physical proximity event.

Systems and methods for directing foot traffic are disclosed. Crowd data is gathered from one or more crowd data sources to monitor crowd densities of a geographic area. Locations are received for pedestrian client devices within the geographic area. Augmented reality commands are determined and supplied to the pedestrian client devices to direct movement of users, generally away from more dense zones and toward less dense zones within the geographic area. The augmented reality commands may direct haptic augmented reality output by a pedestrian client device and/or an accessory associated therewith.

Embodiments are generally directed to a wearable electronic device providing injury response. A wearable electronic device may include an injury detection unit that includes one or more sensors, and a central computing unit to receive sensor data from the one or more sensors to detect one or more injuries or potential injuries based at least in part on the received sensor data. The wearable electronic device further includes an injury response unit to provide a response to the one or more injuries or potential injuries.
