An intake structure for an internal combustion engine of a vehicle includes a cover member covering a space defined between a front side of a radiator provided in a front part of an engine room and a vehicle body opening provided in a front end of the engine room from above, and an intake duct member resting on the cover member and having an air inlet. A part of the cover member adjoining the air inlet is formed with an opening communicating the air inlet with the space, the opening defining a larger opening area in a part thereof located on a higher temperature region side of the engine room with respect to a laterally central part of the air inlet than in a part thereof located on a lower temperature region side of the engine room with respect to the laterally central part of the air inlet.

An air intake structure for an automobile includes an intake duct provided in an engine compartment that is located below an engine hood of the automobile. The intake duct includes an inlet opening, an outlet opening, and a duct body. Air is configured to be sucked in from the engine compartment through which the inlet opening. The air is configured to be supplied to a casing of an air cleaner provided in the engine compartment. The duct body connects the inlet opening and the outlet opening. The duct body has a contact portion that is configured to be in contact with the casing of the air cleaner.

The sensor improves efficiency of creating a magnetic field from a current and can measure a beam current as 1 nA. The bridge unit includes a first coil unit formed so as to have an eddy shape wound counterclockwise from the outer diameter side toward the inner diameter side; a second coil unit formed so as to have an eddy shape wound clockwise from the outer diameter side toward the inner diameter side; and a connection portion for connecting the center position of the inner diameter side of the first coil unit with the center position of the inner diameter side of the second coil.

The invention provides a nondestructive measuring method and measuring apparatus that assures a high noise immunity and is capable of performing high-accuracy beam current measurements. The inventive beam current measuring apparatus includes a magnetism shielding part for shielding an external magnetic field and a magnetic field sensor arranged in the shielding space generated by said magnetism shielding part, said beam current measuring apparatus measuring, by using said magnetic field sensor, a magnetic field where a beam current to be measured is generated, characterized in that said magnetic field sensor has a magnetic flux/feedback current conversion coefficient of 8&#xd7;10Wb/A or above.

Beam current measuring instrument and beam current measuring method using same

A measuring device includes a magnetic shielding part for shielding an outer magnetic field, and a plurality of magnetic field sensors which are arranged in a shielding space which is formed by the magnetic shielding part, wherein the magnetic field sensor includes a plurality of magnetic field collection mechanisms which collect magnetic fields which the beam current to be measured generates, and the magnetic field collection mechanism is a cylindrical structural body which has at least a surface thereof formed of a superconductive body and includes a bridge portion which has only a portion thereof formed of a superconductive body on an outer peripheral portion thereof, and a magnetic field which the beam current to be measured generates is measured by the magnetic field sensors. Due to the arrangement of the plurality of magnetic field sensors, a beam position and a beam current can be detected.

Beam measuring equipment and beam measuring method using the same

It is possible to simplify the cooling mechanism of a superconductor, significantly reduce the cost, simplify the measurement work, and reduce the time required for measurement. A beam current meter includes: a cylindrical super conductor beam current sensor arranged in a vacuum vessel in such a manner that the beam incoming into the vacuum vessel is guided to pass through a bore of the vacuum vessel and a bridge portion is formed at the outer diameter, a SQUID arranged at the bridge portion of the beam current sensor; a cylindrical superconductor magnetic shield arranged so as to surround the external diameter side of the beam current sensor in such a manner that the SQUID is positioned between the beam current sensor and the magnetic shield, so that a beam is guided to pass through the bore of the beam current sensor, thereby measuring the beam the beam current of the beam. The beam current meter uses a freezing device as cooling means for cooling the beam current sensor, the SQUID, and the magnetic shield.
