A method for disposing of waste ink from an image producing machine () is provided. The machine () includes a printhead () that ejects ink in its liquid form from a face () of the printhead (), the ink being phase change ink existing in liquid form above a melting temperature and in solid form below the melting temperature. The method includes: catching waste ink from the printhead () in a gutter (); heating the gutter () to a temperature above the melting temperature; and, flowing the waste ink from the gutter () into a collection container () where it is allowed to solidify.

A group machine time slot reservation and management system and process including (a) a machine time slot reservation subsystem having a storage device for storing time slot reservation information, calendar and time clock information, time slot status information, intended user ID code information, and machine control information, for a user operated group machine; (b) receiving and analyzing wares for receiving and analyzing machine operation information including order quantity information for the UOGM; (c) capability for checking a status of any time slot corresponding with a current clock time; (d) a first programmed application for operating the UOGM to run the received order quantity when the current clock time shows no reserved time slots for the UOGM; (e) user ID verifier for receiving and processing an actual user ID code against the intended user ID code, when the current clock time corresponds to a reserved time slot; and (f) a second programmed application for enabling operation of the UOGM to run the received order quantity when the actual user ID code matches the intended user ID code, thereby enabling efficient and economical management of the time of the UOGM, and that of potential users thereof in a group work environment.

User operated group machine time slot reservation and management system

On hot and humid days, an air deflecting device suitable for placement in an open passenger window of a vehicle such as a car, a train, a bus or the like, and immediately adjacent a selected area of the body such as the chest, neck, face or head of a passenger by such window, is movable within such window for deflecting an outside breeze in such a manner that the deflected breeze directly impacts and cools various such selected areas of the body of the passenger within such vehicle.

A bed attachment and piece of furniture device is suitable for use generally and copulatively by an arm amputee or other handicapped individual who has lost effective use of one or both arms. The device includes a seat member that has a narrow depth ischium support section adjoining a legs support section that is split into left leg and right leg support portions. The device further includes an access spacing between the leg support portions, and means for supporting the seat member at a predetermined copulative height.
