A compressor includes a cylinder crankcase defining a cylinder which is closed by a valve plate provided with at least one discharge orifice associated with a discharge valve and defining, with the cylinder, a compression chamber; a cylinder cap seated against the valve plate and inside which is defined a discharge chamber. A portion of the cylinder cap is dimensioned to receive the entire flow of refrigerant gas released through the discharge orifice and accelerate said gas flow so as to produce an instantaneous reduction in the pressure gradient between the upstream and downstream sides of the discharge valve, in the moment the latter opens.

The compressor comprises a movable assembly carrying a suction muffler and formed by: a piston () having a skirt () with an open rear end () and a closed front end () which carries a suction valve (); and an actuator. The suction muffler comprises: a first and a second tubular insert () defining a first and a second chamber (C, C) and having confronting open ends () spaced from each other, and closed opposite ends () respectively affixed to a top wall () of the piston () and to the actuator; a third tubular insert () internally lining the skirt (); and an annular passage (), between the third and the second tubular inserts (), open to the first and second chambers (C, C), and communicating the open rear end () of the skirt () with the suction valve ().

The present utility model application refers to a new constructive arrangement introduced in acoustic filter of hermetic compressor, and more particularly, a new constructive arrangement that optimizes the suction flow of the acoustic filter, which is normally arranged within the hermetic housing of the hermetic compressor. The suction acoustic filter () is composed by at least one outlet pipe (), outlet pipe () comprising at least two independent suction outlets (). Each independent suction outlet () extending along outlet pipe ().
