A bearing device includes a plurality of bearing pads tiltably supporting a rotation shaft which rotates about an axial line, from the outer circumferential side of the rotation shaft, the bearing pads being spaced apart along the circumferential direction; and an oil supply part that supplies oil between the outer circumferential surface of the rotation shaft and pad surfaces of the bearing pads which face the rotation shaft. The plurality of bearing pads include a first bearing pad that supports the rotation shaft directly below the axial line, and a pair of second bearing pads which sandwich the first bearing pad from the rotation direction. Among the first bearing pad and the second bearing pads, a groove is formed only on the pad surfaces of the second bearing pads so as to extend in the rotation direction.

Bearing device

A tilting pad bearing includes a plurality of pads slidably supporting an outside surface of a rotor shaft, a housing covering the plurality of pads, a support portion swingably supporting the pad with respect to the housing, and a fluid supply unit configured to supply a fluid to a pad surface. The support portion includes a pivot having a pad support surface in contact with a pad outside surface and a pivot curved surface facing and protruding toward a side opposite to the pad support surface, a liner having a first liner surface in contact with the pivot curved surface, and a biasing member biasing the liner toward the pivot with respect to the housing.

Tilting pad bearing

A fluid machine includes: a shaft portion extending in an axis direction; a shroud provided to surround the shaft portion, and forming a flow path between the shroud and the shaft portion, the flow path having one side in the axis direction serving as an upstream side and another side in the axis direction serving as a downstream side; a propeller provided rotatably around the axis between the shaft portion and the shroud; a motor provided in the shroud and configured to rotationally drive the propeller; and a bearing apparatus provided only to the shaft portion, out of the shroud and the shaft portion, and rotationally supporting the propeller.

A bearing pad that supports a rotating shaft rotating about an axis includes: a pad body having a hollow portion formed therein, a lubricating oil supply path for supplying a lubricating oil to the hollow portion, and a lubricating oil discharge path for discharging the lubricating oil to an outside from the hollow portion; and a support structure that is packed into the hollow portion and radially connects inner wall surfaces forming the hollow portion while including a space. The hollow portion is formed in a region shifted to a forward side in a rotation direction of the rotating shaft in the pad body.

Bearing pad and bearing device

A fluid film bearing includes a plurality of bearing pads that are arranged in a circumferential direction of a rotating body that rotates about an axis, and that support the rotating body via a fluid film, wherein the bearing pad includes a base layer made of metal, an elastic layer that is layered on the rotating body side of the base layer, and that is made of an elastically deformable elastic material, a sliding layer that is layered on the rotating body side of the elastic layer, and that opposes the rotating body and is made of a bearing material, and a metal plate that is layered between the elastic layer and the sliding layer, and that is more rigid than the elastic layer and the sliding layer.

Fluid film bearing

A bearing device includes: a rotary shaft being rotatable around an axis; a bearing pad that supports an outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft; a nozzle that is disposed on an upstream side of the bearing pad in a rotational direction of the rotation shaft and has a supply hole; a pair of side plates that face the outer circumferential surface of the rotation shaft on an upstream side of the nozzle in the rotational direction and are disposed on both sides of the nozzle in the axial direction, the pair of side plates having a discharge hole; and a guide surface that faces the upstream side in the rotation direction and extends in the axial direction over an entire length of the bearing pad in the axial direction, wherein the guide surface is circumferentially positioned between the supply hole and the discharge hole.

Bearing device, rotating machine, and nozzle

A tilting pad bearing including pads disposed around a rotating shaft so as to face an outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft, liners each supporting an outside of the pad in a radial direction with an axis of the rotating shaft as a center, and pivots each supporting an outside of the liner in the radial direction with the axis as a center at a central position of the liner in an axial direction of the rotating shaft so as to allow the pad to be swingable, wherein a recessed portion recessed in a direction away from the pad is formed on a surface of the liner facing the pad or a surface of the pad facing the liner at least at the central position thereof in the axial direction of the rotating shaft.

A bearing pad for a tilting-pad bearing includes a first member having a bearing surface and a second member disposed on a back surface side of the first member. At least one of a back surface of the first member or a front surface of the second member facing the back surface of the first member has a recess for forming a cavity between the first member and the second member. Preferably, the bearing pad further includes a support member disposed on a back surface side of the second member and tiltably supporting the first member and the second member, and the recess is formed over at least a part of an installation range of the support member in a plan view of the bearing pad.

Bearing pad for tilting-pad bearing, tilting-pad bearing, and rotary machine

An oil bath type bearing device which supports a rotating shaft rotating around an axis the bearing device is provided. The oil bath type bearing device includes a plurality of bearing pads which are arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction along an outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft, an annular carrier ring which supports the plurality of bearing pads from an outer peripheral side and in which an oil supply hole through which a lubricant is supplied is formed, and a casing which covers the carrier ring from the outer peripheral side and holds the lubricant between the rotating shaft and the casing. The oil supply hole penetrate the carrier ring from the outer peripheral side to an inner peripheral side and extends toward a rear side in a rotational direction of the rotating shaft as the oil supply hole goes radially inward with respect to the axis.

Oil bath type bearing device and rotary machine

A tilting pad journal bearing manufacturing method includes a first process and a second process. In the first process, a pivot fitting hole is formed on a convex curved outer circumferential surface of the tilting pad. The pivot fitting hole is recessed from the outer circumferential surface toward an inner circumferential surface and has an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the distal end portion of the pivot. In the second process, a concave portion is formed on the concave curved inner circumferential surface of the tilting pad by attaching the distal end portion of the pivot to the pivot fitting hole by interference-fitting.

Tilting pad journal bearing manufacturing method, tilting pad journal bearing, and compressor

A tilting pad gas bearing includes: a plurality of bearing pads disposed in a circumferential direction of a rotor; and a pivot member that swingably supports the bearing pads. Each of the bearing pads has a curved shape and includes: a pad main body supported by the pivot member; a heat insulating material layer disposed on a side of the pad main body that faces the outer circumferential surface of the rotor, and formed of a material having a thermal conductivity lower than a thermal conductivity of the pad main body; and a concave portion disposed in an outer circumferential surface on an outer circumferential side of the bearing pad in a curving direction. A base end of the pivot member is fixed to a housing, and the pivot member has a protruding portion that passes through the housing.
