A screw extruder comprises an extruder body () with a bore (H), and a screw () rotatably disposed in the bore (H). The screw () comprises a screw shaft () and two screw flights (and) disposed in the form of a double helix. The screw flight () is substantially continuous, but the screw flight () is provided with large interruptions () within which a plurality of additional flight pieces () are disposed to change the number of passages repeatedly. Mixing/kneading pins () protruding into the bore (H) can be provided. Preferably, the paths () for the mixing/kneading pins () are positioned within the interruptions () and on the upstream side and downstream side of the additional flight pieces ().

The present invention provides a studless tire excellent in performance on ice and snow in which digging friction is improved without losing adhesion friction. A corona discharge apparatus is provided as an ionized gas irradiation means above a plate on which a textile product is placed. The ionized gas E generated by the corona discharge apparatus is irradiated to the textile product and the textile product is activated. The ionized gas E penetrates into the textile product from surface to back under the influence of the magnetic field generated by the plate . The textile product is fully ionized from surface to back by this method and apparatus.
