Provided is a semi-trailing suspension device including: a trailing arm that is coupled to a vehicle body in a turnable manner; a trailing bush that is provided between the vehicle body and the trailing arm and pivotally supports the trailing arm in a turnable manner; a lower arm that is coupled to the vehicle body in a turnable manner; a lower arm bush that is provided between the vehicle body and the lower arm and pivotally supports the lower arm in a turnable manner; and a hinge mechanism that couples the trailing arm and the lower arm to each other in a relatively displaceable manner.

Suspension device

A suspension arm mounting structure comprises: an arm body section () which is disposed between a wheel and a vehicle body and which is configured from a plate-shaped member; a rubber elastic body () which is provided between the arm body section () and the vehicle body; and a shaft section () which is extended from the arm body section () in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, is press-fitted or fitted in the through-hole () of the rubber elastic body (), and has a tube-like shape or a closed cross-sectional shape. The shaft section () has a pressing section () which causes both end surfaces of the plate-shaped member to face each other and press against each other so that the opposing end surfaces are in contact with each other so as to press against each other.

Suspension arm mounting structure

A suspension apparatus includes a first suspension arm having a front end section pivotally supported on a vehicle body. The first suspension arm extends toward a rear of a vehicle from the front end section. A second suspension arm has an outer end section and an inner end section. The outer end section is attached to the first suspension. The inner end section is disposed at an inner side of the outer end section in a vehicle width direction and is pivotally supported on the vehicle body. An elastic joining section is provided on the second suspension arm and connects the second suspension arm to the first suspension arm with a plurality of elastic bodies disposed substantially in parallel in the vehicle width direction. A knuckle is supported by the first suspension arm and the wheel and is supported between the plurality of elastic bodies.

Suspension apparatus

Since a vehicular width direction inside end and vehicular width direction outside end of a trailing armare pivotably supported on a vehicle body and a knuckle, respectively, and a vehicular width direction inside end of a lower armis pivotably supported on the vehicle body and a vehicular width direction outside end thereof is connected to the trailing armvia a pair of rubber bush joints, even though the lower armis made up of a rigid body which is difficult to deflect in a vehicular longitudinal direction, the rubber bush jointscan be deformed when load FX in the vehicular longitudinal direction is inputted into a wheel W so as to enhance the longitudinal compliance of the wheel W to thereby improve the riding comfort.

A bush includes an inner cylinder, an outer cylinder, a cylindrical elastic member interposed between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder, a flange formed on one edge of the outer cylinder, and an elastic brim extending from the cylindrical elastic member. The flange engages with one end face of the cylindrical member, and the elastic brim covers an end face of the flange. The flange includes a thick portion that protrudes toward the elastic brim side.

Bush

A supporting structure for a fuel tank in a vehicle includes a suspension arm fixing structure provided under the floor of a vehicle body and having a statically sufficient rigidity, the fuel tank being located so as to partially overlap the suspension arm fixing structure in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a supporting member provided under the fuel tank so as to extend in the lateral direction of the vehicle being detachably fastened to the suspension arm fixing structure to bring the fuel tank into pressure contact with the floor of the vehicle body by fixing the fuel tank. The supporting member serves also as a reinforcing member for imparting rigidity to the suspension arm fixing structure so that the suspension arm fixing structure can sufficiently sustain a dynamic load during running of the vehicle.
