A gate electrode includes a main portion formed of a gate electrode material, and a gate electrode barrier layer disposed between the main portion and a barrier layer and formed of a conductive material that prevents the gate electrode material from diffusing into the barrier layer. A surface of the main portion in a region above a first insulating layer faces a periphery without a layer of the conductive material being formed.

Field-effect transistor and method for manufacturing the same

A gate opening portion, which is disposed within a recess formation region in a state where the distance from a drain electrode is greater than the distance from a source electrode, is formed in an insulating layer. The gate opening portion is a stripe-shaped opening that extends in a gate width direction. Also, a plurality of asymmetric recess-forming opening portions are formed, arranged in a row in the gate width direction between the gate opening portion and the drain electrode within the recess formation region in the insulating layer. In this step, asymmetric recess-forming opening portions are formed whose opening size in the gate length direction is greater than the opening size in the gate width direction.

Field-effect transistor and manufacturing method therefor

A gate opening, a plurality of first openings arranged in a gate widthwise direction and having a reed shape, a second opening connecting the adjacent first openings, and a third opening connected to a side away from the arrangement of the first opening at an end of the arrangement are formed in an insulation layer. The first auxiliary guide shaft is shorter than the first main guide shaft and the second driving part is placed between the first auxiliary guide shaft and the correction optical element. The second auxiliary guide shaft is shorter than the second main guide shaft and the first driving part is placed between the second auxiliary guide shaft and the correction optical element.

Image blur correction device, lens barrel and imaging apparatus

A lens includes a front group including a plurality of lens groups; and a rear group that is provided on an image side of the front group and that includes a negative lens and a positive lens. The positive lens has a flat lens surface on its image side, and is tiltable about a spherical center of its object side lens surface that is convex on the object side. When a lens system is inclined, the positive lens is tilted in relation to the optical axis of the lens system based on: a focal length of the overall lens system; an angle of the optical axis of the lens system after being inclined in relation to the optical axis before being inclined; a distance between the image side lens surface of the positive lens and the image plane; and a refractive index of the positive lens.

Zoom lens and imaging apparatus

There is provided an image blur correction device including: a correction lens; a first movable frame; a second movable frame; a fixed frame; a first main guide shaft and a first auxiliary guide shaft; a second main guide shaft and a second auxiliary guide shaft; a first driving part; and a second driving part. The first auxiliary guide shaft is shorter than the first main guide shaft and the second driving part is placed between the first auxiliary guide shaft and the correction lens. The second auxiliary guide shaft is shorter than the second main guide shaft and the first driving part is placed between the second auxiliary guide shaft and the correction lens.

A zoom lens includes: a front group including a plurality of movable lens groups; and a rear group that is provided on an image side of the front group and that includes a negative lens and a positive lens. The positive lens has a flat lens surface on its image side, and is tiltable about a spherical center of its object side lens surface that is convex on the object side. When a lens system is inclined, the positive lens is tilted in relation to the optical axis of the lens system based on: a focal length of the overall lens system; an angle of the optical axis of the lens system after being inclined in relation to the optical axis before being inclined; a distance between the image side lens surface of the positive lens and the image plane; and a refractive index of the positive lens.

A lens driving mechanism eccentrically drives at least one lens or lens subunit, hereunder called a correcting lens, in a lens system constituting a taking lens unit in a plane perpendicular to an optical axis direction, and includes a movable frame holding the correcting lens, two coils fixed at a lens barrel where the taking lens unit is disposed, and magnetic circuit formation members generating a magnetic field crossing the coils that are disposed around the correcting lens when viewed in the optical axis direction of the taking lens unit. The members include at least two magnets and yokes disposed at each of the two coils for generating movement forces in different directions perpendicular to the optical axis. The yokes oppose the respective magnets. Either the magnets or the yokes are held by the movable frame, and the other of the magnets and yokes are secured to the lens barrel.

Lens driving mechanism and image pickup device

A zoom lens including a varifocal lens unit having a plurality of movable lens groups, and a prism disposed on an image side of the varifocal lens unit. The prism has an incident plane on which a light flux from the varifocal lens unit enters, and an exit plane from which the light flux is emitted toward an image plane, and is configured such that the incident plane or the exit plane or both planes can be inclined with respect to an optical axis, whereby a field of view is shifted by a predetermined amount by inclining the plane.

A zoom lens includes a varifocal lens unit including a plurality of movable lens groups, and a prism disposed on an image side of the varifocal lens unit. The prism has an incident plane into which a light flux from the varifocal lens unit enters, and an exit plane from which the light flux is emitted toward an image plane, the exit plane capable of being inclined with respect to an optical axis, the exit plane inclined in accordance with a following conditional expression '&#x3b1;=&#x2212;f&#xd7;&#x3b8;/[Bf(n&#x2212;1)]', where &#x3b1;: an angle formed by a normal of the exit plane and the optical axis, f: a focus distance of a whole lens system, &#x3b8;: a turning angle of a lens system, Bf: a distance from the exit plane of the prism to the image plane along the optical axis, and n: a refraction index of the prism.
