Provided is a battery module having a high energy density and exhibiting suppressed electrode displacement or peeling during vibration. In the present invention, a residual space in a battery cell, which is necessary for the lithium ion secondary batteries employing the liquid electrolyte is eliminated, and additionally a module component is disposed in a portion that would provide the residual space.

Solid-state battery module

Provided are a lithium ion secondary battery electrode that occurrence of short-circuit and contamination can be reduced and the method for manufacturing such a lithium ion secondary battery electrode. An electrode used for a lithium ion secondary battery includes a current collector formed of a metal porous body. The current collector has a mixture layer impregnated with an electrode material mixture containing an electrode active material and a non-mixture-impregnated portion not impregnated with the electrode material mixture and including a tab portion and a tab converging portion. The surface roughness Ra of the non-mixture-impregnated portion is equal to or less than the surface roughness of the mixture layer.

Lithium ion secondary battery electrode and method for manufacturing the same

This battery module is provided with a plurality of battery cells each comprising an all-solid battery having laminated therein a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer. Each of the battery cells has a pair of electrode terminals protruding from opposing lateral faces of the battery cell. The plurality of battery cells are arranged so as to be parallel to the lamination planes of the positive electrode layer, the negative electrode layer, and the solid electrolyte layer and in such a manner as to have the respective electrode terminals of different battery cells arrayed in parallel to each other. The electrode terminal and the electrode terminal of battery cells adjacent in the array direction are electrically connected by a bus bar.

Battery module and battery pack

To secure ionic conductivity by improving the adhesion between an electrode material mixture and a solid electrolyte and suppressing electrodeposition of lithium. A lithium ion secondary battery () includes a positive electrode including an electrode material mixture that fills pores of a metal porous body constituting an electrode current collector, a first solid electrolyte layer including a solid electrolyte that fills pores of a resin porous body, and a negative electrode including an electrode material mixture that fills pores of a metal porous body constituting an electrode current collector. The positive electrode and the negative electrode are alternately stacked with the first solid electrolyte layer provided therebetween.

Secondary battery

To provide a solid-state battery module and a separator which can apply sufficient surface pressure to a solid-state battery cell and are excellent in durability and vibration resistance. A separator () disposed between adjacent solid-state battery cells () in a solid-state battery module () including a plurality of solid-state battery cells () to electrically insulate the adjacent solid-state battery cells () of the plurality of solid-state battery cells (), from each other. The separator () includes elastically deformable elastic members () which apply biasing force in the stacking directions of the plurality of solid-state battery cells (). Durability and vibration resistance can be obtained by adequately fixing the solid-state battery cells () with the elastic members ().

Separator and solid-state battery module

To provide a fast charger and a fast charging method that are highly efficient in fast charging of a solid-state battery. A fast charger includes a charging section, a temperature acquisition section, and a controller. The charging section feeds current to a solid-state battery being a secondary battery. The temperature acquisition section acquires a temperature of the solid-state battery. The controller performs control to cool the solid-state battery if the temperature acquired by the temperature acquisition section is greater than or equal to a predetermined temperature. The controller determines a plurality of inflection points on a curve representing changes in the temperature of the solid-state battery against internal resistance of the solid-state battery. The predetermined temperature corresponds to an inflection point on a high-temperature side among the plurality of inflection points.

Fast charger and fast charging method

A battery module is provided with: battery cells comprising all-solid-state batteries having a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer; a support plate on which the battery cells are mounted; and a cooling medium channel through which a cooling medium for cooling the support plate flows, wherein electrode terminals are provided so as to project from one surface of the battery cells, bus bars capable of electrically connecting to the electrode terminals are provided on a battery cell mounting surface, the bus bars are in thermal contact with the support plate, and the battery cells are mounted on the support plate by causing one surface of the battery cells to face the cell mounting surface and electrically connecting the electrode terminals to the bus bars.

Battery module

To improve the adhesion between an electrode material mixture and a solid electrolyte, and thereby suppress electrodeposition of lithium. This electrode includes a planar electrode current collector including a metal porous body, an electrode material mixture layer that fills pores of the metal porous body, and a solid electrolyte layer that fills pores of the metal porous body. The electrode material mixture layer is formed on one side of the electrode current collector, and the solid electrolyte layer is formed on the other side of the electrode current collector. The electrode material mixture layer and the solid electrolyte layer are stacked in a planar shape in the pores of the metal porous body.

Electrode and secondary battery including the same

Provided are: a solid-state battery in which an initial load is applied to a battery cell; and a solid-state battery module comprised of the battery. This solid-state battery includes a pressing portion provided on a solid-state battery case so that a spring force is utilized to apply the initial load to the solid-state battery. Specifically, the solid-state battery includes a solid-state battery cell, and a battery case for accommodating the solid-state battery cell, in which the solid-state battery cell is a stack including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte present between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and in which a face constituting the battery case and extending substantially perpendicular to the stacking direction of the stack has a pressing portion.

Solid-state battery and solid-state battery module

A pouch cell includes: a charging and discharging element; a current collecting tab lead configured to be thinner than the charging and discharging element and drawn out of the charging and discharging element to an outside; an exterior film configured to wrap the charging and discharging element in a state in which the current collecting tab lead is drawn out to an outside; a clamping part configured to clamp the current collecting tab lead from the exterior film by front and back surfaces in a thickness direction; and an airtightness maintaining member mounted to cover an end portion of the clamping part, wherein the airtightness maintaining member is separated from the exterior film, has a slit through which the current collecting tab lead is drawn out to the outside and has a bent part which covers an end portion of the clamping part, and a dimension of the bent part in the thickness direction of the clamping part is larger than a width dimension of the slit.

Pouch cell

To provide a solid-state battery capable of achieving high capacity. A solid-state battery including a multilayer body including a stack of a plurality of electrode layers including positive electrode layers and negative electrode layers and solid electrolyte layers each disposed between the electrode layers, the multilayer body having a columnar shape; and the solid-state battery including a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal disposed at both end portions of the multilayer body; a positive electrode tab electrically connected to the positive electrode layer and the positive electrode terminal; and a negative electrode tab electrically connected to the negative electrode layer and the negative electrode terminal, wherein the positive electrode tab and the negative electrode tab are spirally wound on an outer peripheral surface of the multilayer body.

Solid-state battery

To provide a solid-state battery in which the capacity and voltage can be optionally adjusted in a single battery and the installation space for the battery can be reduced. A solid-state battery includes a plurality of electrode layers, and a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the electrode layers. The electrode layers includes positive electrode portion formed by filling a current collector including a metal porous body with a positive electrode material mixture, negative electrode portion formed by filling a current collector including a metal porous body with a negative electrode material mixture, and an isolation portion formed between the positive electrode portion and the negative electrode portion. Between the plurality of electrode layers disposed adjacent to each other, the positive electrode portion and the negative electrode portion are disposed so as to face each other, and the isolation portions are disposed so as to face each other.

To reduce influence of external force on a current collection tab lead and a current collection tab in a laminated cell type battery. A single film of an exterior body contacts and covers a top surface, a bottom surface, and two side surfaces of a battery perpendicular to an end surface of the battery from which a current collection tab and a current collection tab lead are provided to extend, covers the end surface of the battery from which the current collection tab and the current collection tab lead protrude, and is folded in from both short sides of the end surface such that triangular pyramid-shaped spaces are formed on both sides. A reinforcement member is arranged in and joined to each triangular pyramid-shaped space.

Battery cell

To provide a lithium ion secondary battery in which it is possible to prevent an electrode end part from cracking, when current collector tabs of the lithium ion secondary battery are bound to each other and joined to a lead terminal. A lithium ion secondary battery includes a lithium ion secondary battery main body and a lead terminal. The lithium ion secondary battery main body has a laminated body repeatedly disposed with positive electrodes respectively including positive electrode current collectors, solid electrolytes, and negative electrodes respectively including negative electrode current collectors. The current collectors respectively extend from an end face of the laminated body in an identical direction to constitute a plurality of current collector tabs. The lead terminal is electrically coupled to the plurality of current collector tabs. The current collector tabs and the lead terminal are coupled to each other via an electrically-conductive tab guiding part.

Lithium ion secondary battery

The present invention is a solid-state battery formed of a plurality of repeatedly stacked solid-state battery cells each including a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, a solid-state electrolyte layer, and a pair of current collector layers sandwiching said layers. One surface of each of the current collector layers is in contact with the positive electrode layer or the negative electrode layer. The other surface of the current collector layer is in contact with the current collector layer of the neighboring solid-state battery cell. The coefficient of friction on the other surface of the current collector layer is higher than the coefficient of friction on the one surface of the current collector layer. This can provide a solid-state battery that does not suffer displacement or rotation when stacking.
