The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a microneedle array that does not readily break during puncture and thereby improves the reliability of puncturing, the microneedle array being capable of administering the desired amount of the target substance; and a microneedle manufacturing method for manufacturing a microneedle array of such description. To achieve the above purpose, the invention is characterized in being provided with: a substrate; a plurality of microneedle base sections formed integrally in a protruding manner on the substrate; and microneedle end sections installed at the ends of the microneedle base sections to form microneedles and provided with in vivo solubility or biodegradability, the microneedle end sections holding the target substance, a recess for admitting the microneedle end sections being provided to the microneedle base sections, and a part of the microneedle end sections being admitted into the recess for admitting the microneedle end sections.

Microneedle array manufacturing method

The invention relates to a jig for microneedle array placement that is provided with a main jig body with through holes through which the microneedles of the microneedle array will pass and a guiding part that guides the microneedle array to be incorporated into the main jig body and leads the microneedles into the through holes, and a microneedle array device using the jig for microneedle array placement. The invention prevents the deformation of the skin surface during puncture and allows penetration of the microneedles to the prescribed depth under the skin.

A voice conference system has a first voice-conference device having a speaker directed toward a first conferee and a second speaker directed toward a second conferee in one talk session room, and a second voice-conference device having a speaker directed to a third conferee and a fourth speaker directed toward a fourth conferee in another talk session room. When the first conferee talks, voice collecting beam signals picked up by microphones of the one voice conference device in excess of a predetermined threshold value are selected. The one voice conference device acquires voice collecting direction information, and then transmits voice communication data containing the voice collecting beam signal and the acquired voice collecting direction information to the another voice conference device, which acquires the voice collecting direction information from the received voice communication data, and emits the voice of the first conferee from the first speaker.

Voice conference system

A plurality of speakers are linked in the present invention. The linked position of each speaker can be detected. Audio signal is input to any one of the master speakers. The master speaker synchronizes the other linked speakers, and supplies audio signals to other speakers. It also controls the delay quantity of the speaker unit of each speaker. For a single speaker, the apparent width of this array speaker system becomes twice the width, and the speaker unit spacing becomes one third the spacing. Consequently, the frequency band at which direction is controllable becomes enhanced. Additionally, a plurality of microphone devices are linked at the top, bottom, left and right sides in the present invention. The linked position of each microphone device can be detected. Audio data is output from each microphone device to the master microphone device. The master microphone device synchronizes with other linked microphone devices, treats them as array microphones in the entire linked array microphone system, and controls the delay quantity of the microphone unit of the microphone device. A teleconferencing apparatus includes the functions of a transmitting unit and a receiving unit and the transmitting unit transmits a sound signal formed from sound pick-up signals of a microphone array made up of microphones Mi (i=1 to N) and position information. The position information is provided by forming a plurality of sound pick-up beams directed in a specific direction and selecting the sound pick-up beam with the largest volume. In the receiving unit, a parameter calculation section sets a virtual sound source based on data of a reception signal and sets a delay parameter. A position detecting system capable of detecting the position of a user as a listener in a simple manner. The position detecting system comprises a speaker system comprising a plurality of spatially-arranged speakers including at least a first speaker and a second speaker, a user terminal apparatus transmits a wireless signal to the speaker apparatus, and a position detecting apparatus which is provided in the side of the speaker apparatus. The position detecting apparatus computes the position of the user terminal apparatus based on a first time elapsed since the first speaker outputs a first measurement sound signal and until a receiving command transmitted by the user terminal apparatus in response to receiving the first measurement sound signal is received, and a second time elapsed since the second speaker outputs a second measurement sound signal and until a receiving command transmitted by the user terminal apparatus in response to receiving the second measurement sound signal is received.

An array loudspeaker is constructed by stacking loudspeaker rows in a plurality of stages, each of the loudspeaker rows being formed by arranging loudspeaker elements in the form of a horizontal line. The loudspeaker rows are arranged in a zigzag form by, for example, offsetting the positions of the loudspeakers in the left and right direction for each stage. As for a high range signal, a two-stage portion of halves of the loudspeaker rows is used to narrow the pitch of the loudspeaker elements so as to prevent the grating lobe. As for a low range signal, the entire single-stage loudspeaker row is used to alleviate the deviation with respect to the directivity characteristics of the high range.

An optical disk recording apparatus operates on an optical disk having circular tracks which are provisionally written with an index signal used for securing a constant linear velocity of the optical disk from an innermost circular track to an outermost circular track, and records data along the circular tracks at different linear densities on different annular zones of the optical disk. In the apparatus, a disk drive section rotates the optical disk while synchronizing the index signal successively read from the rotated optical disk with a predetermined reference clock signal to thereby maintain the constant linear velocity of the circular tracks. A clock generating section multiples or divides the reference clock signal by different rates to generate different writing clock signals in correspondence to the different annular zones of the optical disk. A data recording section operates in synchronization to the different writing clock signals for recording data along the circular tracks at the different linear densities on the different annular zones.

Optical disk recorder for writing data with variable density

An optical disk recording apparatus operates on an optical disk having circular tracks which are provisionally written with an index signal used for securing a constant linear velocity of the optical disk from an innermost circular track to an outermost circular track, and records data along the circular tracks at different linear densities on different annular zones of the optical disk. In the apparatus, a disk drive section rotates the optical disk while synchronizing the index signal successively read from the rotated optical disk with a predetermined reference clock signal to thereby maintain the constant linear velocity of the circular tracks. A clock generating section multiplies or divides the reference clock signal by different rates to generate different writing clock signals in correspondence to the different annular zones of the optical disk. A data recording section operates in synchronization to the different writing clock signals for recording data along the circular tracks at the different linear densities on the different annular zones.

A control device suitable for use in a sing-along or karaoke apparatus has a rotary encoder coupled to a selector knob through a transfer mechanism, such as gears. When the selector knob rotates, the rotary encoder generates pulse signals for each rotation of the selector knob. The number of pulses may depend upon a gear ratio of the transfer mechanism. The control device is used, for example, to scan and select music titles stored in a ROM cartridge or other suitable storage medium. The control device may be integrated with an apparatus for controlling the start or stop function. The control device provides a design flexibility due to its compact design.

A tilt device for controlling the optical axis of an optical head in an optical disc playback device for optical discs such as a Laser Vision Disc and a Compact Disc in a perpendicular relation to the surface of an optical disc comprises a tilt mechanism for tilting a feed shaft disposed in the radial direction of an optical disc and having an optical pickup mounted reciprocably thereon so as to change the angle of optical axis of the optical pickup, a detector for detecting distance between the optical pickup and the optical disc and producing a detection signal, and a servo system responsive to the detection signal for controlling the tilt mechanism to maintain the distance between the optical pickup and the optical disc constant. In a preferred form, the feed shaft is fixedly secured to a base frame at its end portion nearer to the center of the optical disc and the free end of the feed shaft is moved by the tilt mechanism toward or away from the optical disc thereby to bend the feed shaft in conformity with flexion of the optical disc.

A focus search device in an optical type disc playback device comprises an optical system for reading a signal of an optical type disc such as a video disc and a digital audio disc, an optical system moving device for moving the optical system compulsorily in a focusing direction to a focus servo range and a vibration imparting device for imparting vibration to a sliding portion of the optical system such as an object lens while the optical system is being compulsorily moved. Vibration applied to the sliding portion of the optical system puts a shaft and a bearing supporting the optical system in a vibrating state thereby facilitating the movement of the optical system and preventing occurrence of a stick slip.
