A body for a vehicle includes an upper member. The upper member has an internal space between a first plate and a second plate, and the internal space extends in a longitudinal direction of the upper member. The first plate includes an upper wall portion, an inner wall portion, and a first flange extending along a lower end of the inner wall portion. The second plate includes a lower wall portion, an outer wall portion, and a second flange extending along an inner end of the lower wall portion and joined to the first flange. In a first section in the longitudinal direction of the upper member, the first flange and the second flange protrude in a first direction. In a second section in the longitudinal direction of the upper member, the first flange and the second flange protrude in a second direction different from the first direction.

Body for vehicle, and battery electric vehicle

A steering column device includes a column shaft to which a steering wheel is fixed, and a steering column that rotatably supports the column shaft. The steering column includes a housing that is configured to be supported by a vehicle body, a column tube that is accommodated in the housing so as to be movable in an axial direction, and a contact pad that is disposed between the housing and the column tube. The contact pad is fixed to the column tube, and is also configured to press against the housing from an inner side.

Steering column device

A valve device includes a body, a joint, a check valve, a valve seat fixation member having an outer peripheral surface on which an external thread is provided, and a sealing member. The body has an attachment hole that attaches the joint and the valve seat fixation member from an outside of the body in a sequence of the joint and the valve seat fixation member, and that has an inner peripheral surface in which an internal thread screwed to the external thread of the valve seat fixation member is provided. The sealing member is provided between the joint and the valve seat fixation member. An outer peripheral edge of the sealing member is located radially inward of a screwed region of the internal thread and the external thread.

Valve device

A steering column includes: a cylindrical member that holds a steering shaft in such a manner as to allow extension and contraction of the steering shaft; a holding member that holds the cylindrical member; a fixture member that is fixed to a vehicle body; a coupling member that couples the fixture member and the holding member; and an energy absorbing member that is partially fixed to the holding member. The coupling member uncouples the fixture member and the holding member when the holding member moves forward for a specified distance in an axial direction. The fixture member has an engaging section arranged at a position where the engaging section is engaged with an engaged section of the energy absorbing member when the holding member moves forward for the specified distance or longer in the axial direction.

Steering column

A steering system includes a steering shaft, a fixed bracket, a column jacket, and a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism includes an insertion shaft, an operation member, a first pressing member, a second pressing member, and a drive mechanism. The lock mechanism is configured to lock a position of the column jacket relative to the fixed bracket after the tilt adjustment. The drive mechanism is configured to move at least one of the first pressing member and the second pressing member so that the first pressing member and the second pressing member approach each other in an insertion axis direction of the insertion shaft along with rotation of the operation member.

Steering system

A solenoid valve includes a coil, a valve element receiving portion, a valve element placed inside of the valve element receiving portion, and a valve portion configured to open and close a gas flow path accompanied with move of the valve element. Either a surface of the valve element opposed to the valve element receiving portion or a surface of the valve element receiving portion opposed to the valve element has a first groove that is extended in an axial direction and a second groove that is arranged to intersect with the first groove and to be extended in a circumferential direction. The first groove is formed to be extended at least from the second groove toward a valve portion-side.

Solenoid valve

A steering device includes: an inner tube; an outer tube that fixes the inner tube by fastening the inner tube from an outer side, and has a first slit extending in an axial direction; a pair of clamp brackets that is disposed so that the clamp brackets face each other with the first slit therebetween; and a reinforcing member that is connected to one of the clamp brackets and also connected to a connection region that is a region of an outer circumferential surface of the outer tube and located farther on one side in the axial direction than an end of the first slit on the one side in the axial direction.

Steering device

A valve device for a gas tank, includes a body and a check valve provided in an injection passage to inject gas into the gas tank. The check valve includes a valve seat, a case fixed in the injection passage while a space is provided between an inner peripheral surface of the injection passage and the case to enable gas to flow through the space, and a valve element accommodated in the case. The case includes a cylindrical portion, and is configured such that the bottom of the cylindrical portion, provided at an opposite side to the valve seat, defines a range where the valve element is axially movable. The valve element includes a head portion that can block a valve hole of the valve seat, and a sliding portion formed to be axially movable with respect to the cylindrical portion.

A valve device includes a body, a solenoid valve accommodated in an accommodation hole of the body, and a joint member fixed to the body. The solenoid valve includes: a sleeve having a tubular shape and fitted in the accommodation hole, and including an introduction passage and a delivery passage; and a valve element configured to open and close the passages. A U-seal is disposed between an outer wall surface of the sleeve and an inner wall surface of the accommodation hole. The body has an attachment hole that is located downstream of the delivery passage of the sleeve and opens on an outer surface of the body. The joint member including a backflow reduction valve is fixed to the attachment hole.

A pressure reducer includes a piston slidably accommodated in a cylinder to define a decompression chamber and a pressure adjusting chamber. A seal member includes an elastic member and a sliding portion. The sliding portion is pressed by the elastic member such that the sliding portion slides on an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. An annular member is located on an outer circumferential surface of the piston and between the seal member and the pressure adjusting surface. The annular member is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder with a force that is less than a force with which the sliding portion is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. Thus, the pressure reducer prevents the piston from being moved by an excessive amount with highly accurately adjusting pressure.

Pressure reducer

In a valve device for selectively opening and closing a flow passage formed to open on a valve seat by a valve body through a resin-made seat, a hollow portion is formed on either one of the valve body and the valve seat and receives the resin-made seat therein, the resin-made seat has a thickness so that the resin-made seat partly protrudes from the hollow portion, and when the valve body is operated to close the flow passage, the resin-made seat is compressed to bring an end surface of the valve body into contact with the valve seat.

Valve device and manually operated shutoff valve device

A valve device includes: a valve member that controls flow of a fluid, and a body that has a valve insertion hole in which the valve member is inserted, and whose inner surface is cylindrically formed, and into which the fluid flows, and a lead-in passage that has an opening in the inner surface of the valve insertion hole, and that causes the fluid to flow into the valve insertion hole. A line representing the direction of extension of the lead-in passage is tilted from a line normal to the inner surface of the valve insertion hole at a position of the opening of the lead-in passage, in a view in the axis direction of the valve insertion hole.

A component holding device includes: a fixing member that has a first inner wall surface that forms a first hole into which gas can be entered and a component can be inserted; a component holding section that is fit to the first hole of the fixing member and that holds the component; a sealing section that is provided in the first hole and that seals the component holding section to prevent water from entering into the first hole of the fixing member; and a vent path that is provided in at least one of the fixing member and the component holding section so as to communicate with a gas residual section in the component insertion hole and that discharges leaked gas in the gas residual section to outside air.

Component holding device

A fluid supply valve attachment device that has a tank, a fixing member in which a recessed fitting section is formed, a fluid supply valve that is inserted in and fixed to the recessed fitting section, a first seal member which seals a space between the tank and the fixing member, and a second seal member which seals a space between the fixing member and the fluid supply valve. The maximum inside diameter of the recessed fitting section is defined as D, a distance between a cross-sectional center of the first seal member and a cross-sectional center of the second seal member in a direction that a central axial line of the recessed fitting section extends in an attached state is defined as L, and Lis set within 2.5&#xd7;D.
