A printing machine includes a printing unit which performs printing while transferring a sheet at a printing transfer speed, a circulation transfer unit which receives the sheet after simplex printing and transfers the sheet by reversing the sheet upside down, during duplex printing; and a paper refeed unit which refeeds, to the printing unit, the sheet transferred by the circulation transfer unit after simplex printing, wherein the circulation transfer unit includes a reversing unit which receives the sheet at the printing transfer speed, reverses the sheet upside down by switching back the sheet and accelerates the sheet up to a circulation transfer speed which is higher than the printing transfer speed when sheet transfer is restarted after temporal stop in the switching back, and a horizontal transfer unit which transfers the sheet switched back by the reversing unit, at the circulation transfer speed.

Printing machine

A grounding structure includes a rotation shaft and a grounding member. The rotation shaft has a non-circular cross section, and rotates. The grounding member is attached to the rotation shaft to electrically communicate with the rotation shaft, and rotates together with the rotation shaft. The grounding member includes a first grounding portion, a grounding retainer and a second grounding portion. An outer shape of the first grounding portion is a circular shape. The grounding retainer is provided on a side of the first grounding portion in a shaft direction of the rotation shaft, and has an outside diameter being larger than an outside diameter of the first grounding portion. The second grounding portion is elastically held in contact with the first grounding portion.

Grounding structure, sheet transport apparatus, and image formation apparatus

A sheet conveying device with a sheet conveyance path through which a sheet is conveyed include: a sheet guide that has a first end rotatably supported to move a second end to be close to or away from the sheet conveyance path; and a sheet detecting section that has a first end protruding beyond the sheet guide and a second end rotatably supported so that the first end is pushed by the sheet and rotated. A rotation shaft of the sheet detecting section is disposed farther from the sheet conveyance path than a rotation shaft of the sheet guide, and the sheet guide is provided with a moving portion for moving the first end of the sheet detecting section to an inside of a guide face of the sheet guide.
