In a torsional vibration reducing device, a protrusion projecting radially outward of the rotating body is formed on an inner wall surface. The protrusion is formed on a rotation direction side of a rotating body relative to a straight line passing through a rotation center of the rotating body and a center of a rolling element when the rolling element is located in a middle between both end positions to which the rolling element swings within the roller chamber, and while the rolling element is located at an end portion of a roller chamber on the rotation direction side of the rotating body, a gap is equal to or less than a predetermined value between the rolling element and a wall surface of the roller chamber on a straight line passing through a rotation center of the rotating body and a tip of the protrusion.

Torsional vibration reducing device

A vehicle seat of the present invention has: a seat main body that has a seat cushion and a seatback; a concave portion that is provided in at least one of the seat cushion and the seatback, and that is provided at a region supporting a seated vehicle occupant, and that is formed in a shape that is recessed in a direction of moving away from the seated vehicle occupant; and a biometric signal detecting section having an airbag, which is mounted so as to extend over the concave portion and is capable of inflating and contracting, and a pressure sensor, which detects pressure applied to the airbag in a state in which the airbag is inflated.

A vehicular torque converter includes: a pump impeller having a pump covering and vanes disposed within an output-side portion of the pump covering; a turbine impeller having vanes opposed to the pump impeller vanes; a stator impeller; a one-way clutch between the stator impeller and a stationary member; and a lock-up clutch configured to connect the turbine impeller to an inner surface of a wall of said pump covering. The vanes are offset with respect to the one-way clutch toward the output side. The vehicular torque converter further includes: a thrust bearing between the stator impeller and the turbine impeller, the thrust bearing having a sliding surface with respect to the stator impeller, the sliding surface being positioned radially outwardly of the one-way clutch and offset from an end face of each of sprags of the one-way clutch toward the output side.

A vehicle drive device includes: an engine; a fluid power transmission device; a clutch disposed between an input side member and an output side member in the fluid power transmission device; and a torsional vibration reduction device disposed in a power transmission path between the engine and the fluid power transmission device in series with the fluid power transmission device, wherein when the clutch is put into slip engagement, the vehicle drive device has a minimum value set equal to or greater than zero for a differential rotation speed acquired by subtracting a rotation speed of the output side member from a rotation speed of the input side member and has a minimum value set less than zero for a differential rotation speed acquired by subtracting the rotation speed of the output side member from a rotation speed of an input side inertial body in the torsional vibration reduction device.

Fluid transmission device

A damper device includes a first rotation member coupled to an engine; a second rotation member coupled to a drive member driven by power generated from the engine and capable of rotating relative to the first rotation member; and a coil spring configured to transmit the power between the first rotation member and the second rotation member, and absorb a torque variation between the first rotation member and the second rotation member, wherein the coil spring has a hollow portion that is an internal area and an outline portion that is an outer area on a cross-sectional shape on a plane including a centerline of the coil spring, the hollow portion having lower rigidity and lower density than those of the outline portion. Accordingly, the damper device can reduce the influence caused by the centrifugal force.

Continuously variable belt transmission for a vehicle

A belt type continuously variable transmission in which a pulley shaft is supported by bearings provided at two positions that are apart from each other in an axial direction of the pulley shaft and a supply oil passage for supplying hydraulic fluid to a pulley hydraulic chamber includes a radial direction oil passage that is formed in the pulley shaft, the radial direction oil passage is formed on an outside of an area between the two positions. Also, one of the bearings is provided near the radial direction oil passage and on an outer surface side of a cylinder member whose inner surface side forms the pulley hydraulic chamber for a movable sheave that is fixed to the pulley shaft. With this structure, concentration of stress on the radial direction oil passage can be avoided, and therefore strength of the pulley shaft can be secured.
