According to the display panel, when a disconnection occurs in a first auxiliary capacitor wiring at a location outside from the outermost wiring among the plurality of second auxiliary capacitor wirings of an active area, the first auxiliary capacitor wiring and an auxiliary capacitor spare wiring are short-circuited at an overlapped portion A, and the auxiliary capacitor spare wiring and a normal first auxiliary capacitor wiring are short-circuited at an overlapped portion B, such that a path is formed through which a signal is transmitted by bypassing the location of the disconnection.

Liquid crystal panel

Provided is a display device capable of suppressing electrostatic breakdown due to dummy wiring even when the dummy wiring is arranged adjacent to signal wiring supplying a display region with a driving signal. Two first supply circuit boards supply the display pixels in each row with a scanning signal, and four second supply circuit boards supply the display pixels in each column with a data signal. Dummy wiring is arranged at the position on the board adjacent to the outermost scanning signal wiring of a plurality of scanning signal wirings connected to each first supply circuit board. The offset distance from the dummy wiring to the peripheral conductor excluding the scanning signal wiring is longer than the offset distance between the dummy wiring and the scanning signal wiring.

Display apparatus

The active matrix circuit comprises a protection circuit which protects an active element from static electricity. In the protection circuit, a TFT (switching element) is connected via a connection wire between gate wires (signal wires). The connection wire includes a cutoff part, and a mark representing the cutoff part is located. A middle point which is equally distant from two contact holes (connection points) closest to the connection wire is included in a range of the cutoff part. In a case where a defect occurs, the cutoff part of the connection wire connected to the TFT concerned with the defect is cut. The protection circuit is modified by the cutting. The cutoff part is away from the contact hole, thereby preventing an electrically conductive material which disperses from adhering to the contact hole.

Method of manufacturing element substrate

A liquid crystal display device () according to the present invention includes a plurality of pixels arrayed in a matrix, n number of the pixels (n is an even number of 4 or greater) being included in a color display pixel (CP). The liquid crystal display device includes an active matrix substrate () including a plurality of scanning lines () extending in a row direction and a plurality of signal lines () extending in a column direction; and a signal line driving circuit () that supplies, as a display signal, a gray scale voltage of a positive or negative polarity to each of the plurality of signal lines. The plurality of signal lines include a first type of signal line () which does not intersect another signal line, and a second type of signal line () which intersects a signal line adjacent thereto outside a display area in the state where an insulating film () is interposed therebetween. The active matrix substrate further includes a correction line () which is provided in the vicinity of an intersection region (IR) where the second type of signal line intersects the adjacent signal line, is electrically separated from the plurality of signal lines, and is at a floating potential.

When an active area (AA) side of CS trunk wiring groups (BB, BB) is viewed as the inner side, a feed portion (F) of at least one auxiliary capacitance bus line (CsL), which is a path for current flow from the active area (AA) to a point of connection on at least one of CS trunk wiring lines (bb) of each of the CS trunk wiring groups (BB, BB), is routed from a start point (S) on the active area (AA) side, through a region (R) on the inner side of the point of connection, and to a region (R) on the outer side of the point of connection and connected to the point of connection.
