A seal device has a for sealing a through hole in a partition includes a first seal for providing a first abutment portion that abuts against a periphery of the through hole in an entirety thereof, and a second seal for providing a second abutment portion that is made of an elastic material for abutting against an outer peripheral surface of a component disposed in the through hole. The first seal and the second seal are connected to cover an entire periphery of the through and the component, and a support member on the second seal has an inner surface shaped in a corresponding form of the component.

Air passageway opening/closing device

A vehicle air conditioning system secures an appropriate temperature difference in the air blown through vertically arranged air ducts when the system is in a bi-level mode. A hot air inlet is disposed above a cool air inlet. A face opening is disposed at an upper location while foot openings are disposed at a lower location. A blow mode-changing door for opening and closing both the openings is a butterfly type door. The blow mode-changing door is pivotally disposed in a door housing. In the bi-level mode in which the blow mode-changing door opens both the foot openings and the face opening, a bi-level mode bypass passageway for introducing cool air from the cool air inlet into the face opening is defined between an extremity of the blow mode-changing door and the inner wall surface of the door-housing portion.

Air direction changing system for vehicular air ducts

In an air conditioner with an inside/outside air unit and an air conditioning unit, an attachment stay having an elongated hole is provided in the inside/outside air unit, and a pin is provided in the air conditioning unit to be fitted into the elongated hole of the attachment stay so that an attachment position between both units are determined. A hook portion is provided in the pin at a top end to form a recess portion between the hook portion and a wall surface of the air conditioning unit, and a plate portion of the attachment stay, defining the elongated hole, is disposed to be engaged with the recess portion after the pin is inserted into the elongated hole.

Air conditioner having unit connection structure

In a vehicle air conditioner, two foot openings are provided in right and left wall portions of a case, and are opened and closed by two foot doors, respectively. Each door surface of the foot doors is moved along a surface of the right and left wall portions for opening and closing the foot openings. A face opening is provided in a top wall part of the case to be opened an closed by a face door. An operation locus of the foot doors is overlapped with that of the face door when being viewed from a direction perpendicular to the door surface of the foot door, while the face door is operated between the foot doors to have a clearance between the face door and each foot door.

Vehicle air conditioner

In an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, a first cool air bypass passage is provided at an upper side of a heater core, and a second cool air bypass passage is provided at a lower side of the heater core. Cool air from the first cool air bypass passage and warm air having passed through the heater core are mixed in a first air mixing chamber, and a ratio between an amount of cool air and an amount of warm air is adjusted by an air mixing film member. Further, cool air from the second cool air bypass passage and warm air from the heater core are mixed in a second air mixing chamber, a ratio between an amount of cool air and an amount of warm air is adjusted by an air mixing door, and the second air mixing chamber is provided at an immediately downstream air side of the heater core. Thus, in the air conditioning apparatus, a pressure loss in a ventilation system can be reduced.

Air conditioning apparatus for vehicle

A vehicle air-conditioning system that independently controls left-right air flow distribution in correspondence with left and right heat loads during a maximum cooling mode. In the system, blowout air flow is increased when driver seat side and passenger seat side air-mixing film members are both positioned in a maximum cooling position, and the heat load has risen in only one of a driver seat side space and a passenger seat side space in a passenger compartment. Further, each respective film member is operated to fully open a cool air bypass passage on the side on which the heat load has risen and the respective film member corresponding to the side on which the heat load has not risen significantly is operated to reduce the open area of the cool air bypass passage. At the same time, fan speed is increased to increase the air blow amount.

Vehicle air-conditioning system with independent left/right temperature control during maximum cooling

An air conditioning apparatus for a rear seat of a vehicle includes a centrifugal fan disposed at a downstream air side of an evaporator. The centrifugal fan is a backward curved fan having a plurality of blades each of which is curved backward relative to a rotation direction of the centrifugal fan. In the centrifugal fan, because a main component of velocity vector is in a radial direction of the centrifugal fan, a dynamical-pressure component of air blown from the centrifugal fan can be effectively changed to a hydrostatic-pressure component. Thus, during a cooler mode where air is simultaneously blown from first and second air outlets toward the rear space of the passenger compartment, a pressure of air blown from the first and second air outlets can be increased, and an amount of air blown toward the rear space of the passenger compartment can be sufficiently increased.

Air conditioning apparatus for a rear seat of vehicle

A deodorizing filter for adsorbing malodorous particles in air is disposed at a downstream air side of a circumferential wall of an inside/outside air switching rotary door which opens and closes inside and outside air intake ports. A gap having a predetermined distance is provided between the deodorizing filter and the circumferential wall of the rotary door. The deodorizing filter is rotated integrally with the rotary door. When the rotary door is rotated to open both the outside and inside air intake ports at their intermediately opened positions, the inside air flowing from the inside air intake port directly flows into an outlet side of an inside/outside air switching box, and the outside air introduced from the outside air intake port passes through the gap and the deodorizing filter and flows into the outlet side of the inside/outside air switching box.
