An air-conditioning centralized management apparatus () for controlling air conditioners including an outdoor unit and an indoor unit includes a main unit () that has basic functions for controlling the air conditioners. The main unit () includes extension I/Fs () that each are connectable to an extension unit () that has an extension function for controlling the air conditioners. The extension I/Fs () are arranged on, for example, at four locations of the air-conditioning centralized management apparatus (), on a top side, lower side, left side, and right side thereof, to improve flexibility in connection of the extension unit ().

The storage unit prestores element image data presenting an element image contained in a display image in an image data region that is a continuous storage region, and prestores draw command data containing data for creating display data presenting the display image in which the element image is placed in a draw command region that is a continuous storage region. The central processing unit makes reference to a screen management table when a predetermined drawing condition is satisfied to identify and output the draw command identification data corresponding to the satisfied drawing condition. The draw processing unit acquires from the storage unit the draw command data identified with the output draw command identification data, and creates and outputs to the display unit the display data placing the element image based on the acquired draw command data.

A frequency characteristics measurer is disposed in the vicinity of an end of refrigerant piping, the end of which is connected to an outdoor unit, that connects the outdoor unit and an indoor unit of an air conditioner, and measures frequency characteristics of the refrigerant piping. A filter is attached at a position between the outdoor unit and a position where a terminal of the frequency characteristics measurer is connected, so as to wrap the refrigerant piping. A piping length calculator is connected to the frequency characteristics measurer via an interface cable, and acquires, via the interface cable, frequency characteristics measured by means of the frequency characteristics measurer. The piping length calculator extracts a lowest anti-resonant frequency from the acquired frequency characteristics, and calculates the length of the refrigerant piping on the basis of the extracted lowest anti-resonant frequency.

A control device includes a storage device for prestoring rendering command data, a central processing device, and a rendering processing device. The rendering command data is data for generating a rendering command executed in order to generate display data indicating a display image to be displayed on a display device. The central processing device refers to a screen management table when a predetermined rendering condition is satisfied, and specifies and outputs rendering command specifying data corresponding to the satisfied rendering condition. A sampler samples a receive signal received via a dedicated communication line. A data transfer rate adjuster measures a data transfer rate based on a number of start bit samples contained in the receive signal. A bit determiner makes a bit determination regarding the receive signal at the data transfer rate measured by the data transfer rate adjuster, to thereby acquire serial data contained in the receive signal. A transmitter sends, via the dedicated communication line, a transmit signal containing serial data sent by an MPU. An MPU communicator outputs to the transmitter the serial data sent by the MPU, and outputs to the MPU the serial data acquired by the bit determiner. The data transfer rate adjuster adjusts, when the transmitter sends the transmit signal multiple times at different data transfer rates, the data transfer rate based on the receive status of respective response signals thereto.

An object manager reads out the property value from the object database and then issues a drawing command. A graphics engine executes the drawing command to configure a memory image of the graphic object on a VRAM to display the image on a liquid crystal display via an LCDC.
