A connectorincludes a housingto be installed on a circuit board. The housingincludes a first locking portionand a second locking portion. Each of the first and second locking portionsincludes a resiliently deformable leg portionprojecting from a front side to a back side of the circuit boardand a locking bodyprotruding from the leg portionin a direction intersecting a projecting direction of the leg portion. The locking bodyhas a locking surfacelockable to the circuit board. The locking surfacesof the first and second locking portionsare at different heights in the projecting direction.

Connector capable of suppressing the inclination of a housing

It is aimed to guarantee the connection of a connector by completing the assembling of a cover. A connector () of the present disclosure includes a first connector (), a second connector () and a cover (). The first connector () and the second connector () are connectable to each other and completely covered by the cover () in a completely connected state. The cover () includes a first cover () for accommodating the first connector () inside and a second cover () for accommodating the second connector () inside. The second cover () includes a pair of openable and closable second half covers (U,L). The half cover (U,L) includes a connection guaranteeing portion for coming into contact with the second connector () in the completely connected state from behind.

Connector assembly with automatic connection completion detection structure

A terminal fitting () includes a rectangular tube () with a bottom wall (), two side walls (A,B) rising from the bottom wall () and a ceiling wall () facing the bottom wall (). The rectangular tube () includes a terminal insertion opening () on one end, and a tab (T) is insertable therein. A resilient contact piece () is arranged along the bottom wall () inside the rectangular tube (). Two protection walls (A,B) extend respectively from the side walls (A,B) to close the terminal insertion opening (), leaving a clearance for entrance of the tab (T) between the ceiling wall () and the protection walls. The protection walls (A,B) have facing edges (A,B) facing the mating protection walls (B,A), and the facing edges (A,B) extend obliquely with respect to a line (L) perpendicular to the bottom wall ().
