A connector applied to a wire harness includes a terminal that can be connected to a counterpart terminal arranged in a counterpart connector and a connector housing that includes the terminal arranged therein along an axial direction and can be engaged with the counterpart connector along the axial direction. The connector housing includes a notched part that enables a counterpart terminal holding part that holds the counterpart terminal and is exposed to the outside in the counterpart connector to move to an axial direction engagement initial position at which the terminal and the counterpart terminal are opposed to each other in the axial direction from the outside of the connector housing along an intersecting direction intersecting with the axial direction.

Connector and wire harness

A connector of a wire harness includes a connector housing provided with a terminal and capable of being fitted in an attachment hole formed in an attachment panel in an axial direction, and a connector cover attached to the connector housing, the connector cover causing a wiring material connected with the terminal to be inserted into the connector cover and causing the wiring material to offset along an intersecting direction. The connector cover includes a grip portion formed in such a shape that the grip portion is capable of being gripped at a position where the grip portion is exposed in an insertion hole formed in an opposite panel arranged to face the attachment panel in an opposed manner in the axial direction so as to cause the connector housing to pass through the insertion hole, the insertion hole being located at a position deviated from the attachment hole in the intersecting direction.

Connector, connector cover, and wire harness

A connector includes a connector housing that includes a plurality of terminal accommodation chambers, a terminal that is accommodated in the terminal accommodation chamber, a retainer portion that holds the accommodated terminal in the terminal accommodation chamber, a short circuit terminal that makes at least two of the accommodated terminals be in a short-circuited state by coming into contact with the two accommodated terminals, and a sub-housing on which the short circuit terminal is mounted. The connector housing includes a fitting portion to which the sub-housing is fitted in a direction orthogonal to a fitting direction of the connector housing to a counterpart connector housing, and the retainer portion is formed at a position of holding the terminal and the short circuit terminal is mounted at a position at which the short circuit terminal comes into contact with the terminals.

A connector includes at least two terminal fittings, a connector housing including terminal accommodating chambers which respectively accommodate the at least two terminal fittings, and a shorting terminal electrically connecting the at least two terminal fittings to each other. An electrical connection of the at least two terminal fittings is released by a mating connector which is fitted on the connector. Abutment portions provided at front ends of shorting contact pieces of the shorting terminal project from a front surface of the connector housing. A front surface of the mating connector facing a front surface of the connector housing presses against the abutment portions and deflects the shorting contact pieces in a rear direction of the connector so as to release shorting of the at least two terminal fittings.

Connector

A lock mechanism used for a connector mechanism of a wire harness includes a flange portion projecting from a connector housing in an intersection direction intersecting with an axial direction, an arm portion supported by the connector housing at a base end, extended from the connector housing to the flange portion side along the axial direction, having a free front end, and being bendable along the intersection direction, and a lock beak portion projecting from the arm portion to a side opposite to the connector housing side along the intersection direction and being lockable to a mounting panel disposed between the lock beak portion and the flange portion in the axial direction. The lock beak portion includes a plurality of lock beak portions provided along the axial direction at certain intervals.

Lock mechanism, connector and wire harness

A connector includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a pair of housings and a lever that slidably joins the pair of housings relative to each other. The second connector engages with the first connector by sliding relative to the first connector in an axial direction. The pair of housings includes a supporting portion, temporary locking portions, and a guiding portion. The supporting portion is provided on one of the pair of housings and rotatably supports the lever. The temporary locking portions restrict rotation of the lever. A projection is inserted into the guiding portion. The second connector includes an abutting portion abutting on the lever. In a state where the locking of the temporary locking portion is released, the lever converts a force transmitted from the guiding portion to the projection into a reverse force and transmits the converted force to the abutting portion.
