A vehicle serving as a first vehicle includes a communicator, an identification unit, a collector, and a notification unit. The communicator communicates with one or more second vehicles upon occurrence of a multiple-vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles. The one or more second vehicles include the vehicles involved in the multiple-vehicle accident. The identification unit uniquely identifies a vehicle that is to issue an emergency notification by communicating with the one or more second vehicles. The collector collects accident information from the one or more second vehicles when the first vehicle corresponds to the vehicle that is to issue the emergency notification. The notification unit notifies an emergency notification center of the accident information collected by the collector as notification information.

Vehicle

A vehicle includes a storage, an obtainer, an extractor, a comparator, and a notification processor. The storage is configured to store first vehicle data in association with first image data. The obtainer is configured to acquire second vehicle data and second image data. The extractor is configured to extract, from the first vehicle data and the first image data stored in the storage, the first vehicle data that is identical or similar to road data obtained from the second image data. The comparator is configured to compare the second vehicle data acquired by the obtainer with the first vehicle data extracted by the extractor, and obtain a difference value between the second vehicle data and the first vehicle data. The notification processor is configured to execute, when the difference value obtained by the comparator exceeds a predetermined value, a notification that the difference value exceeds the predetermined value.

A vehicle includes a social media information acquisition unit, a collector, a browsing time acquisition unit, an extractor, and a control processor. The social media information acquisition unit communicates with portable devices of occupants in the vehicle to acquire social media information of the occupants from the portable devices. The collector collects search keywords from the social media information of the occupants. The browsing time acquisition unit acquires information on browsing time for each of the search keywords from the social media information. The extractor extracts a common subject based on the search keywords collected from all of the portable devices of the occupants in a communicable state, and the information on the browsing time. The control processor determines content of a proposal to be provided to the occupants in the vehicle based on the common subject, and notifies the occupants of the content of the proposal.

A road surface information providing apparatus includes an information acquisition unit, a road surface condition estimation unit, a risk map generation unit, and a transmission unit. The information acquisition unit acquires vehicle information from at least one vehicle with a wheel detected as being idling among vehicles that are traveling in a predetermined region, and acquire weather information about a surrounding area around the at least one vehicle. The predetermined region includes the surrounding area around the at least one vehicle. The road surface condition estimation unit generates road surface information about an estimated condition of a road surface in the predetermined region on the basis of the vehicle information and the weather information. The risk map generation unit generates a risk map in which the road surface information is correlated with map information. The transmission unit transmits the risk map to the vehicles traveling in the predetermined region.

Road surface information providing apparatus and vehicle control apparatus

A vehicle includes a fatigue state detector, an information provider, and a processor. The fatigue state detector is configured to detect a fatigue degree of an occupant of the vehicle. The information provider is configured to provide various pieces of information related to traveling of the vehicle to the occupant. The processor is configured to change a frequency of providing the various pieces of the information by the information provider, depending on the fatigue degree of the occupant.

A driving takeover control apparatus is equipped in a vehicle capable of travelling by automated driving and controls a driving takeover operation at a transition from high automated driving to low automated driving. The apparatus includes a driver operation device, a vehicle driving device, an alertness detecting device, a computation control device, and an output limiting device. A driver operates the driver operation device to steer the vehicle and adjust a vehicle speed. The vehicle driving device steers the vehicle and adjusts the vehicle speed based on an operation amount given to the driver operation device. The alertness detecting device is detects an alertness level of the driver at the transition. The computation control device drives the output limiting device to perform an output limitation operation if the alertness level is a certain level or lower. The output limiting device limits an output of the vehicle driving device.

Driving takeover control apparatus implemented based on measured driver alertness level

A vehicle control system includes at least one processor and a storage medium configured to store a program to be executed by the at least one processor. The program includes at least one command. The at least one command causes the at least one processor to execute a key lock-out prevention process of controlling a lock mechanism of a door of a vehicle into an unlocked state in a case where a key that operates the lock mechanism is positioned inside the vehicle, and a vehicle protection process of controlling the lock mechanism into a locked state without executing the key lock-out prevention process in a case where, after automatic stop of the vehicle, an occupant present inside the vehicle is not detected and the key is positioned inside the vehicle.

Vehicle control system

An occupant state detection system includes an occupant monitoring apparatus, an occupant state detection apparatus, and a determination apparatus. The occupant state detection apparatus includes one or more processors and one or more memories. The one or more processors cooperate with one or more programs included in the one or more memories to receive occupant monitoring data from the occupant monitoring apparatus and determination data from the determination apparatus. On the basis of the determination data, the one or more processors make assignment of a part to be monitored, of an occupant in a vehicle, to be monitored by the occupant monitoring apparatus, to detect a physical state of the occupant.

Occupant state detection system

An automatic reverse driving controller includes a control unit. The control unit includes a traveling information input unit, a traveling information storage unit, an automatic reverse traveling instruction input unit, and a processing unit. The traveling information input unit inputs information on a traveling trajectory of the vehicle and a road surface condition. The traveling information storage unit stores the inputted information on the traveling trajectory and the road surface condition. The automatic reverse traveling instruction input unit receives an input of an instruction to switch from traveling by a driving operation of a driver of the vehicle to automatic reverse traveling by the control unit. The processing unit corrects, in response to the input of the instruction, a traveling trajectory of an outward route on the basis of the road surface condition to determine a traveling route for a return route, and control reverse traveling of the vehicle.

Automatic reverse driving controller

A safety drive assist apparatus includes an imaging unit, an information acquisition unit, a first determination processor, a second determination processor, and a control processor. The imaging unit captures an image of an occupant inside a vehicle. The information acquisition unit acquires information including biometric information of the occupant inside and outside the vehicle. The first determination processor and the second determination processor determine a physical fatigue level and a mental fatigue level of the occupant inside the vehicle, respectively, on the basis of the image of the occupant inside the vehicle captured by the imaging unit or the information including the biometric information of the occupant inside and outside the vehicle acquired by the information acquisition unit. The control processor controls a vehicle device on the basis of one or both of determination information obtained by the first determination processor, and determination information obtained by the second determination processor.

Safety drive assist apparatus

An occupant state detection system includes first and second occupant monitoring apparatuses, a determination apparatus, and an occupant state detection apparatus. The first and second occupant monitoring apparatuses monitor a physical state of an occupant in a vehicle in different methods. The occupant state detection apparatus includes one or more first processors and one or more first memories. Upon receiving data indicating that the vehicle is in a stopped state from the determination apparatus, the one or more first processors cooperate with one or more programs in the one or more first memories to: make assignment of a part to be monitored and data to be acquired, of the occupant in the vehicle, to be detected by the first and second occupant monitoring apparatuses; and detect the physical state of the occupant on the basis of first and second occupant monitoring data from the first and second occupant monitoring apparatuses.

A vehicle occupant notification apparatus provides a notification to a vehicle occupant by retracting a seatbelt of a vehicle and includes an operation-amount measuring instrument, an arithmetic controller, and a retraction device. The operation-amount measuring instrument measures a measurement seatbelt operation amount when the vehicle occupant sits on a seat of the vehicle and fastens the seatbelt. The measurement seatbelt operation amount is either one of a measurement seatbelt pull-out amount and a measurement seatbelt pull-out angle. The arithmetic controller determines whether the measurement seatbelt operation amount is larger than or equal to a predetermined value. The retraction device varies a retraction amount in the retraction of the seatbelt when the notification is to be provided by retracting the seatbelt based on a command from the arithmetic controller. The command indicates that the measurement seatbelt operation amount is larger than or equal to the predetermined value.

Vehicle occupant notification apparatus

An occupant state detection system includes an occupant monitoring apparatus, a determination apparatus, and an occupant state detection apparatus. The occupant state detection apparatus includes one or more processors and one or more memories. The one or more memories store data including traveling-state comparative data and stopped-state comparative data. The one or more processors cooperate with one or more programs included in the one or more memories to receive occupant monitoring data from the occupant monitoring apparatus and determination data from the determination apparatus. On the basis of the determination data, the one or more processors compare the occupant monitoring data with the traveling-state comparative data on the condition that the vehicle is in the traveling state, and compare the occupant monitoring data with the stopped-state comparative data on the condition that the vehicle is in the stopped state, to detect a state of the occupant in the vehicle.

A safety drive assist apparatus includes an imaging unit, an information acquisition unit, first and second determination processors, and a search control processor. The imaging unit captures an image of an occupant inside a vehicle. The information acquisition unit is provided inside and outside the vehicle and acquires information including biometric information of the occupant. The first and the second determination processors determine physical and mental fatigue levels of the occupant inside the vehicle, respectively, on the basis of the image captured by the imaging unit or the information acquired by the information acquisition unit. The search control processor searches for a recommended traveling route and a recommended stop-by point on the basis of a search condition, and propose a result of the search to the occupant. The search condition is based on one or both of determination information obtained by the first determination processor, the second determination processor.

A vehicle seat control apparatus is equipped in a vehicle capable of travelling by automated driving and is configured to set a position and attitude of a seat of the vehicle to a driving position in low automated driving and to set the position and attitude of the seat to a relaxing position in high automated driving. The vehicle seat control apparatus includes an alertness detecting device configured to detect an alertness level of a driver seated on the seat, a computation control device configured to drive the seat driving device to perform an alerting operation if the alertness level is lower than a predetermined level when driving of the vehicle transitions from the high automated driving to the low automated driving, and a seat driving device configured to displace the seat at a higher speed than at a transition from the driving position to the relaxing position.
