The purpose of the invention is to stabilize the output of a charging device by removing noise components back to the output side of the charging device. The charging device () charges a secondary battery () by using power supplied from an external power supply (). A charging unit () has a primary coil () and a secondary coil (), converts the power supplied from the external power supply () into a charging power, and supplies the charging power to the secondary battery (). A noise removing unit () removes noise components included in the charging power that is supplied to the secondary battery () by the charging unit ().

Charging device

A relay switch has a coil such that a predetermined voltage is imposed on one end thereof and the other end is grounded with a resistor therebetween, and when the voltage of the coil is at least a predetermined value, the relay switch is turned on and a power source is supplied to an electronic apparatus. A transistor causes the voltage of the coil to be at least the predetermined value by means of drawing in the current flowing through the coil and causing the current to flow to the ground without passing through the resistor when starting the supply of the power source, and after the start of supply of the power source, gradually decreases the amount drawn in of the current flowing through the coil, causing a decrease in a manner so that the voltage of the coil does not fall below the predetermined value.

Relay drive device

A user interface device allocates each of functions for operating an instrument to fingertips in response to a hand movement and allowing an operator to intuitively comprehend the allocation of each of the functions to the fingertips. The device includes a GUI button allocation section that first allocates a GUI button, read out from a GUI button data storing section, to each fingertip in a hand shape acquired by a hand shape acquiring section when a contact position acquiring section detects a contact to an operation surface by the operator. Then, in accordance with a change of hand shape direction, the GUI button allocation section reallocates the GUI button to each fingertip of the hand shape. The device also includes a superimposed image creating section that creates a composite image of an image of a GUI button allocated by the GUI button allocation section and an image of the hand shape, and a displaying section that displays the composite image of the image of the GUI button and the image of the hand shape created by the superimposed image creating section.

User interface device

An input device for a mobile body allows for a safe input operation at the time of operating equipment, such as a car, regardless of whether the mobile body is traveling or stopped. The input device includes an input section for receiving inputs by hand and voice operations, a traveling state determination section for determining a traveling state of the mobile body, and an item executability determination section for determining, in the determined traveling state, whether each of the received inputs corresponds to an item executable by the hand and voice operations. The input device also includes a display content generation section for generating a display mode which distinguishably shows whether nor not the item is executable by the hand and voice operations in accordance with a determination by the item executability determination section, and a display section for displaying the generated display mode.

Input device and input method for mobile body

A voice input device, in which a content spoken by a user is reflected on a confirmation screen when executing the content, allows the user to confirm that a command, corresponding to the content which is spoken by the user who intended for the execution, is executed after being recognized by the voice input device. The voice input device includes a command storage section that stores a command in which one representative command name is associated with at least one paraphrased command name, a voice acquisition section that acquires voice spoken by a user, a command recognition section that refers to the command storage section and to recognize a paraphrased command name based on the voice acquired by the voice acquisition section, an execution section that executes a command corresponding to the paraphrased command name recognized by the command recognition section, and a display control section that displays the paraphrased command name recognized by the command recognition section when the execution section executes the command corresponding to the paraphrased command name.

Voice input device

An input device for inputting a command and information to a device, includes a body shape input section acquiring body shape information of a user and a display information generation section generating a display image necessary for the user to input the command and the information. Further, the input device includes an operation section having an operation surface corresponding to the display image, a body shape extraction section extracting a portion corresponding to the operation surface from the body shape information acquired by the body shape input section and generating a body image, an image composition section making a composite image of the display image generated by the display information generation section and the body image generated by the body shape extraction section, and a display section displaying the composite image made by the image composition section.

Input device and its method

A navigation system generating a display which enables an intuitive and instant grasp of a distance to a guide point (such as a guide target intersection) is provided. The navigation system displays an object on a route between the vicinity of a vehicle position and the guide point, and includes a object display control section which calculates a distance from an arbitrary point on the route between the vehicle position and the guide point to the guide point, and sets a mode for displaying the object in accordance with the distance from the arbitrary position on the route to the guide point. The object display control section sets, for example, a display color, a pattern, or a shape of the object in accordance with the distance from the arbitrary point on the route to the guide point.

Navigation system

Character information recognition means extracts, through a character recognition process, character information from a selection button included in an index image. Based on text data having been outputted from the character information recognition means, index dictionary creation means creates an index dictionary usable for a speech recognition process performed by speech recognition means. The speech recognition means performs the speech recognition process by using speech data retrieved through an ADC and the index dictionary stored in storage means. Based on a result of the speech recognition process performed by the speech recognition means, reproduction control means performs reproduction control of a chapter. Thus, a desired button can be selected by speech, from chapter selection buttons displayed on a chapter selection image of a DVD video.

Digital video reproducing apparatus for recognizing and reproducing a digital video content

A user interface system having an improved usability is provided. The user interface system comprises: an operation section () an operation section for receiving an instruction inputted by a user; a finger position detecting section () for detecting a group of first coordinate values, each indicating a current position of a fingertip, of a user, which is placed on an operation surface of the operation section; a component storing section () for storing component data representing a GUI (Graphical User Interface) component; an assignment section () for uniquely assigning the component data stored in the component storing section to each of the first coordinate values detected by the finger position detecting section (); an image generating section () for generating a GUI image representing a user interface in which the GUI component represented by the component data stored in the component storing section () is uniquely associated with each of the first coordinate values detected by the finger position detecting section (), in accordance with an assignment performed by the assignment section; and a display controlling section () for displaying the GUI image generated by the image generating section () on a display screen.
